Stargate SG-1: Deadman Switch
"Major? Who knows, maybe someday, someone will figure out a way for what's left of my people to be free of the Goa'uld. And that would be something worth trading for." - Aris Boch
Of all the one-episode characters introduced in the Stargate franchise, I think Aris Boch is the one I'm most disappointed that we never got to see again. He's fun: no wonder the Sci-Fi channel used to play this episode so often. In a galaxy where so many people are humorless straight men, he's practically another Jack O'Neill. He gets character development, even if it isn't the deepest. And his backstory as a member of a people conquered by the Goa'uld, coerced into serving them, and who's working for them more out of resignation than anything else, makes him an interestingly realistic character type that we don't usually get to see much. There was definitely more stuff to be mined here.
A little Aris Boch action.

“But you’re also a doctor.”
“Of archeology.”
How come every time I start a manwha and actually get into it, it goes off on a hiatus or a season just wrapped up?
Like let me clarify, everyone needs a break and I'm all for it, especially for the writers/artist/translators and everyone involved.
But don't you think it's weird when I....ME, start reading it and as soon as Im caught up, the next update it's stuck on a hiatus, or the season finale happens...like.. that's weird right?
