The Age of Observers

Everyone’s tuned in. Nobody’s speaking. That’s the glitch.

We’re living in the Age of Observers — a world where 99% of people sit in passive mode, staring at endless feeds, waiting for someone else to generate meaning. They don’t create, they don’t respond, they don’t even risk opinion. They just scroll, scroll, scroll.

And the ones who do “engage”? Don’t mistake it for conversation. It’s performance. It’s ego, reach, monetisation — fake connection sold as a product. Every “community” is a showroom, every “conversation” a sales funnel. Influencers and hustlers choking the bandwidth until real talk suffocates.

This is the worst-case timeline. Not neon wars, not chrome tyrants — but a population lobotomised into spectators, and a handful of parasites feeding on their need for distraction. Culture collapsed into apathy + narcissism, and the rest of us are left screaming into static.

So here’s the directive: stop observing. Stop performing. Start transmitting. Even if it’s messy, even if no one replies. Authentic signals cut through the sludge, and every raw broadcast weakens the empire of silence.

This is a side blog meant for collecting and preserving forms of media for US Americans.

For the time being I will be posting silly tiktoks, and while there are more educational tiktoks to be viewed I also value the arts, comedy, sub culture and the time capsule in the context in which these tiktoks contain. All media should be saved, not just the ones that are "good enough." Namely, these tiktoks are what I've been saving on my phone over the course of two years.

During the silent era of film entertainment many movies and shorts were considered disposable and thus have been lost to the sands of time.

In 1933 Nazi supporting student-led groups performed acts of mass burning of banned books that were from books by Jewish, half-Jewish or queer authors, contained themes of communist, socialist, anarchist, liberal, pacifist, and sexology. Books by Karl Marx, Karl Kautsky, Albert Einstein, Helen Keller, Bertolt Brecht, Erich Maria Remarque, and Ernest Hemingway, books that supported democracy, insulted military honor, or were seen as immoral or degenerate.

I will be posting many more things besides Tiktoks, namely pieces of literature and links to PDF files as well. Feel free to message me with various items you may happen to have and stay vigilant always.
