The work they're doing, going beyond the printer to keep our brave liberators supplied, it can't be understated. I want to take a moment to thank the smart, hardworking, industrious people there designing the pacification strategies of the future.

I'd like to take this time to apologize, for a certain soundbite you might've heard circulating in which I appear to give credence to a nasty stereotype.

I would first like to say, yes. Male lancers do exist. I see you, and I am proud of the work you do to uphold our great utopian ideals. I had no intention to imply you were at all lesser than your female counterparts. My incredulity at meeting Cmdr. Woys was feigned, and my comments were indicative of my own time in serving with the DOJ, not as a pilot but as a man on the ground. It was a time when these stereotypes and assumptions were given more credence, and it was treated as fact that women and femmes simply made better pilots, particularly that they were better pilots than men by an order of magnitude.

I understand now that this is untrue, rooted in old anthrochauvinistic thought, and harms individuals across spectrums of gender and expression. I want to make it clear that this ugly attempt at "humor" is not who I truly am, and that as a representative of this great Union, I owe you much more.

In the spirit of reasonable discussion and reaching across the aisle to you, I disagree with your sentiment the committee is corrupt and that modern Thirdcomm is in some way imperial! We have a number of internal checks to prevent corruption, and Union membership is a voluntary affair! In many ways, we are merely a federation. So much so that I'd say a "federated diaspora peoples of orion" (which I can't say I've heard of?) sounds Union by another name.

Well, Union without the maturing we've done to get where we are now. Figure another body with similar structure and aims would get pretty anthrochauvinistic pretty quick! More like a federaSHANT if you ask me 😏 You guys ever wanna come to the table in good faith though, I'm sure we could find some way to cut a Deal.

Hey Omninet, lots of fantastic conversation going around lately and it just has me thinking... democracy is a bit like a gacha, and voting is a little like one of the "pulls," or... polls but with a little hard work and coordination, the PEOPLE can decide what they get.

Maybe that's a five star pull, in the form of an honest representative from humble beginnings in a dawnline mining outfit, who's served his people loyally for the past eight years, voting to pass forward looking policies that help us all.

Maybe it's a one star pull, some anthrochauvinistic dirtbag who doesn't do any of that.

Are you informed on where your representative candidates stand, Omninet?

Representative Freeman, are there any laws being planned for NHP liberation? Does Union plan on living up to its long preached standards of freedom and equality for all, or will they continue to overlook the entire class of people they've enslaved?

If there aren't any discussions on the matter, would YOU bring up those discussions? I'm sure there are MANY voters like myself who would LOVE to hear about that development.

Very little is known about Milliéa, a provisional member state appearing for the first time in the Central Committee's latest public census release, drawing attention for heavy redaction of normally banal public information. Now, what would be the first piece of illuminating information about the far-field diaspora world only continues to obscure public detail.
