This record pretty much sounds like #DearLandlord with slightly cheaper recording mics and without the Copyrights backup vocals. “Avoidance Learning” is great and fits right in with some of the best D4/Midwest punk songs. They happened to spawn a lot of other bands I ended up enjoying. As a drummer I’m a big fan of Brads “less is more” style of drumming that he continues into Dear Landlord and matured into his #TheGatewayDistrict/Shallow Cuts/Partial Traces songs. Nate went on to play in Off With Their Heads/#BannerPilot/Gateway District.
