Woo More Adventures in Running

The group peer pressured me into a much longer distance than planned.  9.5k in 1h03min this morning.  I can't believe I'm likely to hit my 10k distance goal next Sunday.

Week 2 Update

5k in 33:37 on Sunday, 5k in 30:43 on Wednesday, and a heat fail 3.6k in 21:56 on Saturday.

The Re-defattening: Week 1

Sorry but I'm going to start talking about my running here again on occasion.  The more people who know about it, the more likely I will be held to account - unlike all fall, when I'd say I'll start next week, every week, for 14 weeks.  And then again in January, when I made running plans with a friend and kept cancelling them.

I'm going the public shaming route this time.  Today was my first time back on the streets.  I made it 7.5k in 49 minutes tooting around Port Credit.

Next weekend I am on the road, so I'll have to bring my gear along or make it my Monday night plan.  I'll decide on a goal within the next three weeks, although I have a pretty good idea of where I want to be.
