How did the Order manage to localize two Illuminati laboratories ?

The question may look a bit weird, I admit, but let me develop further. Just mind that it is just a theory, not an assertion and I am waiting eagerly for your comments whether you agree with me or not :)

Basically, Illuminati is a super shady and super powerful organisation ruled by Demon Kings with the King of Light Lucifer himself as the Great Commander. From the beginning, they have been extra cautious to keep the Order from infiltrating them , finding their facilities and destroying their plan to bring Satan back. Neither the Grigori nor the Paladin or the Archknights (at least three of them), with all of their influence, ever managed to successfully locate the laboratories where the experiments were conducted. For what we know, Shima might be the only successful infiltration, but, first, we are still not sure which side he is on and second, so that he can remain a pawn that both Lucifer and Samael can use, he has to play along with some rules, not revealing the localization of the laboratories for example.

But, in the end, the Order still managed to find two very important facilities : Gedouin laboratory and the Domus Liminis, Lucifer’s ship, in a oddly similar way:

Both facilities has been discovered by two of the most intriguing and shady characters on the Order’s side : Nemu Takara and Lightening and both has basically used the same trick :

Step 1: Manipulating someone that Illuminati is interested in to have them taken by the Illuminati forces.

Step 2: Give them something that is being possessed by a demon they control.

Step 3: Locate the demon(s) to find Illuminati.

There is a lot to be said : First, I would like to ask you people a question, because I haven’t find the answer : is tracking down a demon you have summoned a common ability among Exorcists ? It does not look like it because I have never seen it being mentioned anywhere else and Nemu explains it as if it was a special ability of his.

If it is not, that mean both those characers whose background remains mostly unknown have strange abilities. Where could that power come from ?

What do you think ? This is a lot of weird things in those two cases. First, let’s not talk about completely amoral those methods are ><. Basically pushing teens to their breaking point so that they throw themselves at Illuminati, so that they can serve as tracking signals for the Order. Also, it looks like each time Lucifer was not expecting something like that.

As a conclusion, I would like to propose a theory about where could Lightening and Takara’s strange abilities come from. It is not purely mine, a lot of other amazing people on tumblr, reddit and discord have developped it, but I will try to apply it to my interrogation:

If Lightening and Nemu Takara were both Nephilim (one from Azazel, the other from Armumahel), could that explain why they have those abilities and how they are capable of tracking down their demons ?

Don’t hesitate if you have something to say :), even (especially !) if you do not agree.

Nemu being a Nephilim of Armumahel is already a well-known theory and a pretty solid one, even if we are still waiting for the confirmation. We are far more unsure about Lightening, since Azazel’s bloodline is supposed to have died out according to that very same Lightening. But we all know he does not hesitate to lie and his being weirdly powerful without making obvious where does his power come from (unlike the other high rank exorcists) makes me wonder.

If that theory was true, then it would mean they bear the blood of a Demon Emperor or King. All of the demons, especially the Baals and the Sol are linkeded to Satan, and all of the demon servants of an element/concept are linked to the Demon embodying this concept (either a Sol or a Baal). So for me, it would make sense for the Baal/Sol to be able to locate/find any of their servants since they are in a way a part of themselves. And since Nephilim, even other than Rin, seem to have enherited some of their ancestor’s power, they could also possess that power.

I do not know if that makes a lot o sense, but here we go ! 😅
