Every now and then i remind myself about the stories i escape to that inspire me so much to make my own stories to escape to.

Star wars may have had some bad times, but i would be lying if i said i never day dreamed about having a lightsaber and fighting alongside clone armies against clankers, then being there as it’s all ripped away with order 66, bringing me to the time of the Empire and joining the rebellion.

Harry potter which made me take tests on what my house would be, and give me thoughts about magic and it’s ups and downs. Thoughts about what things would be different if magic were real in our world.

Good Omens even made me wonder if beings such as Demons and Angels were real, would they just look exactly like us and watch us? Would they want to experience everything humanity came up with? 

Marvel gave us superheros and villains, and made me wonder if the heroes would actually be so righteous. This brings up The Boys, with superheroes that take advantage for their abilities/status in society, making it seem more realistic. 

There are so many stories and movies that gave me so many things to dream about and twist into my own little way. Giving me ideas on how to build characters and create my own worlds. They gave me so much inspiration to just steer away from our normal world, and create a new one to escape to. Magic we can never have, worlds we can never see, experiences we could never have.

I want all of it, and the only way to get to it is to create all of it from nothing.

Do you ever just lay in bed at six in the afternoon until you fall asleep because you don't have the energy or the heart to do anything you love ever, then listen to your parents in the other room go "they're in bed already? What are they tired from? Sitting?" And not once consider any other reason? Then you proceed to wake up in the morning annoyed by the fact you didn't die in your sleep, then barely do the tasks you said you would do because you just don't feel the enjoyment anymore, and don't once think about reaching out because you'll be mocked like always?
