You stood quietly next to Greta and your friends as you walked into the girls bathroom. You should've known what was coming, but you weren't thinking it through. As soon as you saw a closed stall, however, you knew what was going down. “Come on Greta, she's not worth our time.” You tried, but she only glared at you. Sighing, you stepped back and let them do their thing. That is, until you saw the trash about to be dumped on Beverly's head. “Okay, stop. This is ridiculous.” You said, pushing yourself off the wall and storming over to Greta.
“Why, Y/N? Why are you standing up for a loser like her?” Greta asked, looking you up and down. “Because she's nicer than you'll ever be.” You spat, and you looked over just in time to see trash get dumped into Bev’s stall. “Whatever, Y/N. I was only friends with you because of Henry, anyways.” Greta said, in a sickly-sweet voice. “Come on, girls.” She gestured for the other two to follow, which they did, and waved to you innocently. “Have fun with the losers, Y/N.” With that, they left.
“Hey, are you okay?” You asked, as Beverly walked out of the stall. “Yeah, thanks Y/N.” She said, looking at you cautiously. “It’s Beverly, right?” You asked, politely. “Yeah. Beverly Marsh. How’d you know?” She asked, confused. “I, unlike Greta, have the decency to learn people’s names.” You said, and you both laughed. “I have a feeling you and I are going to be great friends, Beverly Marsh.” You said, and she laughed. “Me too, Y/N Bowers.”
One Week Later
You ran downstairs, bidding your dad goodbye quickly, before he could give you a lecture on your brother’s disobedience, you left the house and grabbed your bike, getting away as soon as possible. Your dad wasn’t exactly fond of your brother, but he absolutely adored you. You never gave him much reason to scold you, always maintaining good grades, and doing as told. Unlike Henry, who struggled with instructions and preferred attending school for bullying, rather than actual work.
You biked to Beverly's house, waiting outside. You knew her dad wasn’t exactly fond of her friends, but he tolerated you. You were always very polite to him, and he was always on about how you were such a “good influence on his baby girl”, and how “those misbehaved boys” were not. It always made you a bit uncomfortable, since you’d never properly met the boys. This was why you waited outside.
Not 5 minutes later, Bev came bounding out of her house, running down the many flights of stairs and grabbing her bike. The two of you biked around town together, chatting about random topics, mostly how you were glad school was over. Bev suddenly lit up, her face showing excitement. “You haven’t met the Losers yet!” she exclaimed, out of nowhere. “The who?” You asked, confused. “My friends, come on! We’re meeting up at the quarry today, you should come!” She exclaimed, and you gulped. “I-I don’t know, Bev..” You said, nervously.
You both stopped your bikes, pulling over to talk a bit easier. “Why not? Don’t you wanna meet my friends?” She asked, a bit hurt. “No! I mean yes! It’s not that, Bev. It’s my brother.” You said, biting your lip nervously. “What? What about him?” She asked, curiously. “Everyone knows me as Y/N Bowers, Henry’s little sister. My brother probably bullies the crap out of them.” You stated, rolling your eyes at the thought. She stayed quiet, and you knew he did. “Exactly, Bev. It’s okay, you go ahead. I’ll be fine.” You faked a smile, trying to act happy. “Nice try, you’re coming anyways.” Bev decided, and you sighed. You weren’t going to win, and you knew it, so you simply followed her to the destination, nerves flooding your system.
You see, it wasn’t easy for you to make friends. Being the notorious Henry Bower’s little sister, made you an impossible target. Everyone thought you’d be like your brother, and never once gave you a chance. That’s why you were friends with Greta and her group. They knew you were popular around town, and if a Bowers was in her group, she’d be unstoppable. Now that she’d built up a reputation, it seemed she didn’t need you anymore. You were fine with that.
Much sooner than you would’ve liked, you arrived at the Quarry. Beverly’s friends, who apparently, were all guys, looked at you like you were crazy, and suddenly anger flashed in one of their eyes. You recognized him to be Richie Tozier. “What the fuck are you doing here?” He spat, and you flinched. “I-I, um, uh…” You stuttered, slowly backing away. “Chill, Richie, she’s with me.” Beverly said, grabbing your arm and pulling you with her. Frowning, you scanned the group. They all looked either pissed, or scared of you. “Bev, I told you this was a bad idea.” You whispered, and she shook her head. “You’re staying.” she instructed.
One of the taller boys came over, grabbing Beverly and pulling her off to the side. “How could you be friends with her, Bev? She’s Henry Bowers’ sister!” He whispered, angrily. He had curly hair. It took you a second to remember his name, Stanley Uris. He was one of the smartest kids in your grade. The smallest boy fumbled with something in his.. Fanny pack? He whipped out an inhaler, taking a big breath from it. “Are you alright?” You asked him, and he flinched at your voice. “Fine.” He said, his voice small. He jumped behind Richie, who glared at you fiercely.
“What do you want, Bowers?” Richie said, pushing past an arguing Beverly and stood right in front of you. “She’s probably just here to bully us, just like your brother. We don’t want you here, Y/N. Go home to your fake friends and your fucking dumbass idiot brother, and bother someone else, bitch.” He spat, and the group gasped. Richie was known to be blunt, but this was straight up rude. You were sick of it, but you weren’t going to fight. A tear slipped down your face, knowing most of what he said was the brutal truth.
Not many people would be honest with you, ever, because they were scared if they’d hurt you, Henry would hurt them. You two were very close growing up, but you stopped talking to him altogether when he started bullying kids. You tried to stop him many times, but you were shooed away. Still, people failed to treat you like a person, because they were scared of the things he could do.
“You know, Richie. I admire you.” You said, smiling sadly. This took him completely by surprise, him even taking a step back. “What?” He asked, confused. Clearly everyone else was curious, too, as they all moved in closer. “Not many people would be brave enough to stand up to me, especially not people who my brother typically target.” You said, wiping a tear. “I admire your bravery and wit. I’m sorry for everything my brother put you,” You paused, looking around at the rest of the group. “all of you, through. I hate how he treats you all, you’re all such great people, and an amazing group of friends. I’m not gonna lie, I’m kinda jealous.” You finished. The group was silent, Bev coming and giving you a quick hug.
“W-well, Y/N, w-would y-you want t-to s-stay?” Bill stuttered, and you smiled. “It’s alright, I don’t want to intrude.” You insisted, going to grab your bike. “Wait! I’m sorry, don’t leave. I’ll let you push me into the water!” Richie shouted, and you turned around, eyebrows raised. “You want me to feel better about you being mean, or you too scared to jump in yourself?” You teased, and Eddie, Bev, and Ben all laughed. Bill and Stanley refrained themselves, but were smiling. “I like her!” Eddie exclaimed, excitedly. “Please stay!” He said, pulling a ‘puppy-dog’ face. “Okay. Who can say no to that face?!” You exclaimed, earning a chorus of laughter from the group and Eddie’s cheeks to heat up.
You quickly threw off your dress, leaving you in your undergarments. Beverly copied you, and you two silently agreed to jump together. The boys gawked, and you only laughed at them. You grabbed Bev’s hand, running off and jumping without hesitation. “Holy shit!” You heard Richie cry, and you laughed as you disappeared under the water. The boys followed suit, and you were all splashing each other and enjoying the warm summer day.
That day, you (as well as Bev and Ben) became official members of the Loser’s Club. You finally met your best friends, and you were a proud loser. As soon as Henry learned that you began to hang out with the losers, he immediately shut you out, not that you really minded. You spent most of your time out of your house, mostly with the losers. You had finally escaped your brother’s shadow, and you couldn’t have asked for a better group of friends.

PART 2
-
“Why can’t I go?” You asked, incredulously. It was a typical sunny day in Derry; blue sky, scorching heat. It was the perfect day to go for a swim. Your brother had asked for the two of you to go out with your friends to the Quarry, and without a second thought, your father had agreed for Stan to go, but not yourself. “This isn’t up for discussion, young lady.” Your father said, sternly. “But- This is so unfair!” You argued, your face visibly showing your anger. “I said this isn’t up for discussion! Just go to your room, Y/N!” Your father snapped, and with a huff, you did so, slamming the door behind you.
“For fucks sake.” You whispered, throwing yourself onto the bed. You grumbled to yourself, rolling over. “Why can Stanley go, but not me?” Normally, it wouldn’t matter that much, as your father knew the boys well and didn’t think they were bad, but when it came to swimming at the Quarry with a bunch of teenage boys in your undergarments, he had his limits. Even if Beverly would be there, she didn’t have the best of reputations among the town, either. You understood he was trying to protect you, but it didn’t mean you were happy about it.
The sound of something hitting against your window made you turn in surprise. Walking up to it, you jumped when the same sound echoed through your quiet room. You saw it clearly now; it was a rock, but who’d been throwing them? Furrowing your brows in confusion, you slid open your window and peeked out, scanning the yard until your eyes fell upon a certain short brunette.
“Eddie?” You asked, peeling your window open ever so gently. The boy had a huge smile on his face, and motioned for you to climb down. You looked at your door with a hesitant glance, and smiled sadly at the boy. “Can’t. Dad won’t let me out with you guys today.” Eddie frowned, but you were quick to finish. “It’s alright, though! You guys go ahead and have fun. I have a lot of homework to catch up on anyways- we can’t all be as smart as my brother.” You attempted, and failed, to convince him. He shook his head, rolling his eyes.
“Y/N, you and I both know you want to come, so get your ass down here or I’ll haul mine up.” You blinked, a bit shocked, before biting your lip. “What about my dad?” You asked, unsure. “Stan’s distracting him, obviously. Hurry up, dammit!” Most people never would have really taken Eddie for such an impatient, demanding person, but you knew Eddie. You wouldn’t have thought it of him either, but you’d known him for as long as you could remember.
Sighing in defeat, you ever-so-careful climbed out of your window, jumping and landing on your feet with ease. It wasn’t as if you hadn’t done it before, you’d done it hundreds of times, but the last time you’d got caught, well, let’s leave it at the fact you were certainly not willing to go through it again. Still, you trusted Eddie, and besides, Stan wouldn’t let anything too bad happen to you, nor would the other losers. They were your family, and they had your back.
You walked over to Eddie, and the two of you glanced around, guaranteeing the coast was clear. Eddie quickly pressed his lips to yours, pulling away almost immediately. He pulled you into a hug, whispering into your ear. “I miss you. We never get any alone time, anymore.” Frowning, you pulled away. “I’m so sorry, Eds. I know this sucks, but we gotta go. Stan’s terrible at distractions.” Eddie sighed, but followed you anyway. You could tell he was hurt, but Stan couldn’t find out about the two of you.
It went against every rule in the book, yet it was such a common, stereotypical romance; the girl fell in love with her brother’s best friend, and the two date in secret without the brother knowing, with fear he’ll disapprove and risk losing their relationships with him.
It wasn’t that you didn’t want to tell Stan. Damn, you wanted to so bad. You two told each other everything, and you were as close as could be. He wouldn’t admit it, but you knew Eddie was dying to tell Stan and Richie as well; they were his best friends, after all. You knew how Stan was, though. Overprotective of you. He’d always been like this, even when you two were young. You remembered it like it was yesterday.
“Y/N, you can’t date any of my friends.” He’d told you, out of the blue. The two of you were on the swings in your backyard, rocking back and forth gently. Of course, you were both only 8 years old at the time, and it meant absolutely nothing to you. “Boys are gross, Stan! They have cooties!” You’d replied, sticking your tongue out at him. He sighed, and looked at you, seriously. “I’m serious, Y/N/N. I don’t wanna see you hurt. It would be even worse from my friends.” “I’m serious, Y/N/N!” you mocked, giggling. Stan sighed, the serious look unmoving from his face. “Fine, mr Grumpy! I won’t date your friends!” “Promise?” “Yes, Stan. I promise not to ever, EVER date any of your friends!”
If only you’d realized then how hard it would’ve been, maybe you wouldn’t have made the promise to your brother. Maybe you would’ve been smarter, had you only been a bit older, wiser. “I can’t make promises I can’t keep, Stanley.” If only you’d said something along the lines of that, you wouldn’t be flooded with the guilt you felt to this day. You didn’t want to have to break your promise to Stan. You tried so, so hard to push away your feelings, until finally, you couldn’t anymore. You knew if Stan found out, it would break him. The thought of breaking him, broke you.
As the two of you passed the window, you ducked while Eddie signalled Stan, to which he nodded, bidding your father goodbye and meeting you two outside. “Let’s get going then, we’ll be late.” Stan said, as the three of you walked down the driveway. “Dad’s gonna notice if my bike is missing, Stan.” You frowned, you knew Stan hated when you rode on the back of his bike. Stan pondered this, knowing you were right. “You can ride with me.” You both snapped your heads to Eddie, who was blushing bright red. You almost thought he would expose your entire relationship.
Stan looked unsure, before Eddie clarified. “I mean, I know you hate riding with another person, and I don’t mind.” Stan looked to you, and you nodded, indicating you were okay with it. “Alright, but don’t try anything with my sister, Kaspbrak.” He teased, but there was a serious tone to it that scared the both of you, just a little. Gulping nervously, you waited for Eddie to climb onto his bike before following suit, loosely wrapping your arms around his torso as he took a deep breath, following Stan as the three of you made your way to the Quarry.
Upon arrival, you were greeted with the Losers Club and the guilt of being with Eddie, though still present, was watered down and pushed away. Beverly, who was the only one who knew about your relationship, had raised eyebrows when you’d pulled up, arms wrapped around Eddie. She ever-so-subtly looked from Eddie to Stan, indicating her question evidently. You shook your head no, and mouthed “I’ll explain later”, to which she nodded.
The two of you stripped down to your undergarments, and without another word, both jumped off the ledge. “Holy fuck, how do they always do it without giving a shit?” Richie asked, dumbfounded. Even after all these times, he and the others still found it amazing that you and Beverly both jumped without hesitation. He and the others had their eyes trailed on the water, where you and Beverly had surfaced and were splashing each other, smiles bright on your faces. All except one; Stanley. He was too busy death glaring at Eddie. He saw the way Eddie’s eyes were trained on you from the moment you began to strip. None of the others seemed to notice Stan’s glare, however, and one by one, they all jumped, leaving Stanley standing alone. He shook his head at himself; neither you or Eddie would do something like that. He must’ve just looked at a bad time. “C’MON, STANLEY!” You called, and Stan sighed, before running and jumping off the cliff.
The rest of the day flew by, chicken fights occurred while you and Eddie supervised, lots of splashing, Richie making a comment or two about you and Beverly, and now you were laying beside Beverly, suntanning quietly. The boys were all staring at the two of you, both girls knew. Their gazes flicked between your two bodies, except Eddie’s, which stayed on your beautiful body. You and Eddie had been careful all day, up until this point, or so you’d thought. It just so happened that Stan had kept an eye on the two of you after his speculations that morning, and he had been right. You two were obviously much closer than the others; Stanley already knew this, because you and Eddie had always been quite close, but it was different. He saw the way Eddie looked at you, and it made his blood boil. The worst part of it all? You looked at Eddie the same way.
“THAT’S IT!” Stanley screamed, making the entire group jump, staring at him in shock. You and Beverly shot up, eyes blown wide. “What the fuck, Stan?” Beverly asked, taking off her sunglasses and squinting at your brother. “Why don’t we ask Eddie and Y/N, Hmm?!” You glanced at Eddie, then back at Stan. “What are you talking about, Stan?” You asked, a fake-confused tone hiding your nerves. “What am I talking about? Oh, I don’t know! Maybe about how you and Eddie are dating in secret, behind our backs?”
Trapped and Alone // Eddie Kaspbrak
Word Count: 1517
Summary- At the Neibolt house, you separate from your boyfriends and friends, and have a bit of a misunderstanding later on.
Warnings; N/A
A/n; This is kinda longer than my usual writing, but oh well, enjoy!
Requested; Yes! 1 down, 18 requests to go!
req; Could you do an Eddie x reader where she isn't there for Eddie when he breaks his arm(because she's trapped in a room) so when she gets out she's panicking and eventually gets to him but his mom freaks out on her and he doesn't say anything/stands up for her so she's upset because she thinks he's mad but they eventually make up?
-
“Guys? Do you hear that?” You asked quietly, squinting your eyes into the dark room. A girl popped out, making you jump in surprise. It was your old friend; Betty Ripsom. “Betty?” You whispered, and a faint giggling was heard, before she ran deeper into the room, and out of sight. “Betty!” You whisper-yelled, trying desperately to find your friend, and not have IT find you.
Glancing back at the boys, who were huddled around something Richie was holding, you decided to peek into the room, for just a minute. Unfortunately, the house seemingly had other plans, and the door slammed shut right behind you. “Richie! Eddie? Bill!” You screamed, banging on the door. “Let me out!”
It was as if the boys couldn’t hear you; despite you being very loud. You heard a creaking noise behind you, and ever so slowly, you turned around, only to be met with the face of Pennywise. “Don’t worry, little girl.” He said, a maniacal giggle following the statement immediately after. “We all float down here..” He smirked, stepping forward towards you. Instinctively, you moved back. He took a step forward, you took a step back. This continued until your back hit the wall.
You squinted your eyes closed as he leaned over you, now hovering above you gently. He ran a cold finger down the length of your arm, making you shiver in terror. “Mm. I do love the taste of fear..” He said, and all of a sudden he stood up straight, eyes blown wide. It slowly merged into an evil smirk. “But then again, you aren’t that fun right now. I think I’ll go play with someone else.” He said, leaving you confused.
“How about your friends? Shall we start with Eddie?” IT asked, and you gasped. “You stay away from them! Do whatever the hell you want with me, leave them be!” You cried, your heart racing solely at the thought of losing your friends. “See, dear, this is how to play the game. Sorry, rules are rules. You’ve had your turn. Now, it’s theirs.” With a final cackle of laughter, he slowly backed away, disappearing behind another door. (Yes, you tried to follow. Yes, you were still trapped.)
You weren’t sure how long you’d been there, but upon hearing a huge crash, you jumped up, banging on the door again. “Eddie? Richie! Bill! Are you okay?!” You yelled, anxiously. You tried the doorknob; locked. Sighing, you bit your lip at your next thought. You’d either succeed, or make a complete fool out of yourself. You decided it was worth it; there was no one to embarrass yourself in front of anyways.
Backing to the other side of the room, you ran towards the door, kicking it as hard as you can. What could you say; you’d seen it in a movie once; it was worth a shot. Much to your delight, the door swung open, and you ran out, relieved to be out of the small space. You ran out to see the whole loser’s club, standing fearfully over Eddie, who’s arm was very much out of shape and broken. You glanced around the room, finding and old piece of broken wood.
You ran over, picking it up. “I said, leave them alone, you asshole!” You screamed, slamming the board down on Pennywise’s head. The others threw things at him, Bev finally stabbing him in the eye. He gave up, before disappearing, he gave a final glance, eyes set on you, and a moment later, he was gone. Richie and Stan helped Eddie stand up, and you all stumbled blindly out of the house.
As you all stopped outside the property of the Neibolt house, you moved over to Eddie. “Are you alright, Eddie?” You asked, concerned. “Like you care!” You were taken aback by the sudden interruption, seemingly out of nowhere, Eddie’s mom came, grabbing Eddie’s good arm and pulling him to the car. “You know how fragile he is!” She said, opening the door, gently pushing Eddie inside, and closing the door.
Eddie looked guiltily down at the floor of the car, undaring to talk back to his mother. “This is all your fault! All of you!” She screamed, eyes jumping from loser to loser. Beverly tried desperately to reason with the woman, but she wouldn’t have it. “You, all of you, stay away from my son. I don’t ever want to see you near him again. I know all about you, miss Marsh, and I don’t want a dirty girl like you around my son.” She was about to turn and walk away, when her eyes fell on you.“And you…” She said, walking over to you dangerously.
“Ever since my son has befriended you, nothing but trouble has happened. You’re a no good, filthy, terrible girl, and if I ever see you around my son..” She said, very low, warning tone on his voice. “There’ll be hell to pay. Understood?” You stood there, shocked. Eddie’s mother had never shown signs of disliking you; in fact, usually, she loved you. Guess that train pulled out of the station.
Looking to where Eddie sat, trying to make eye contact, and failing, as Eddie refused to look at you. “Understood, miss Kaspbrak.” You said, stepping back. All the losers were taken aback; you and Eddie had been dating (not to the knowledge of his mother, of course), for over a year, and you two had been going strong; not a single fight. (Except there was one time, where Eddie yelled at you thinking you were Richie bugging him again, but it was resolved immediately following.)
As she drove off, a tear slipped out of your eye and you ran to your bike, taking off. “Y/N, wait!” You could hear Stan call, and Richie and Bill start yelling; about what, you didn’t know. You didn’t care. You were upset; Eddie didn’t even flinch when you said you wouldn’t see him anymore. It hurt, like a bitch.
You biked to the Quarry ledge. Though it was cold, and definitely not weather for swimming, it was always calming to you to look out upon the sparkling water. You sat against a rock, letting the tears that blurring your eyes fall freely. You closed your eyes, letting out all your emotions and blocking out everything else.
“How could you say that to her?!” Eddie yelled at his mother, absolutely astonished. He knew she wasn’t a fan of his friends, but Y/N was a different story. “I never did like that girl, Eddie. She’s no good for you. It’s best you don’t see her anymore.” She said, calmly. “Fuck you!” Eddie screamed, running out the door. “Eddie Kaspbrak, come back here!” He heard his mother call, but ignored her. He jumped on his bike, pedalling as fast as he could up to the place where he knew you’d be; the Quarry.
As he tiredly pedalled up the hill, he began to lose hope. What if you weren’t here? He felt terrible for his earlier actions, but fighting with his mother isn’t something he wanted his friends to see. His worries were wiped clean, however, when he saw your bike leaning up against a rock, and your shaking figure next to it. He jumped off his bike, dropping it on the ground and running over to you, quickly tackling you in a hug.
You screamed, thinking IT had decided to make another appearance. You quickly wriggled out of their grasp, running up and standing in a defensive stance. You sighed when you saw Eddie, and when he saw your red, tear-stained face, his heart broke. He did that. “I-” He squeaked, unable to form words. “Why are you here, Eddie?” You interrupted, crossing your arms over your chest.
“I’m sorry.” He managed, his face showing everything he wanted to say. You could read him like a book; you knew he couldn’t lie. He meant it, but you were certain you were the one who should be apologizing. “I thought you were mad at me?” You questioned, him looking at you confused. “Why would I be mad at you, Y/N?” He asked, frowning.
“I wasn’t there for you- I wondered off, you could’ve died! You almost did! You were lucky you broke your arm!” You said, rushed. “Well, for the record, it doesn’t feel all too lucky.” Eddie teased, and you facepalmed. “That’s not what I meant.” “I know, but I’m not mad. I was worrying about you too, you know. I wasn’t there for you either; you were stuck in a room by yourself.” You didn’t think about it like that, and you shook your head, smiling.
“I’m just happy you’re alright, Eddie. I don’t know what I would’ve done if you didn’t come back.” You said sadly. Eddie stepped forward, pulling you gently into his arms. “Me too, Y/N. I love you.” “Only one problem- what about your mom?” “Right now, I don’t give a damn about my mom. Fuck her, and those damn gazebos.” “They’re not- never mind. I love you too, Eddie Kaspbrak.”
Guilt {Part 3} // Henry Bowers
Word Count: 1439
Summary- Being apart of the loser’s club makes you a prime target for the one and only, Henry Bowers. (CONT.)
Warnings; N/A
A/n; Slowly getting through these requests, lol. Had so much fun writing these, and I know I really kinda changed the character; but really, it wasn’t that much because it’s obvious he has trouble with emotions; just it’s portrayed more as anger and aggresive, I’ve just manipulated the thought to make him more of a softer version of himself, where he is trying to be better.
Requested; Yes, multiple times. This is the final part. Hope you enjoy!
req; Yes give me that part three of guilt .
req; Can ya do a part 3 to guilt? It was soooo good!
req; hi! could you maybe do part 3 for "Guilt" ?
PART 1 | PART 2
-
“What the fuck!?” Richie screamed, making you and Henry jump apart. “Richie..” You whispered, eyes blown wide. “Y/N? I thought you were our friend!” He yelled, causing the other losers to run over to see what the commotion was all about. “What’s going on?!” Stan asked, confusedly looking between Richie, who was red in the face with anger, fists clenched at his sides, while you were standing there, all color in your face drained, except for the visible blush on your cheeks.
“You know what’s going on? I’ll tell you. Y/N here says she’s going to ‘take care’ of Bowers, but instead brings him back here to suck his fucking face off!” Richie exclaimed, leaving the losers confused. “Y-Y/N?” Bill asked, betrayal evident in his eyes. “Guys, it’s not like that..” You said, trying to convince them all; even yourself. Thinking about it, from their point of view; things weren’t looking great for you.
“Y/N, why wouldn’t you tell us?” Ben asked, softly. He was clearly upset too, but staying strong. Eddie, not so much. “No, you don’t get to pity her, Ben! None of us do! She lied to us! Who knows how long she’s been with Bowers!” Eddie exclaimed, clearly distressed. He paused, to take a breath from his inhaler. “I’m done, Y/N, I trusted you. We all trusted you!” He screamed, and stormed off. Richie looked back at you, shaking his head, before running after Eddie.
“You’re my best friend, Y/N. Why wouldn’t you tell me?” Beverly whispered, and she didn’t even look disappointed. She only looked hurt. That’s when you knew how bad you fucked up. She walked away, Mike, Bill, and Ben hot on their heels. Only Stan remained. He looked up at you, nothing but pain in his eyes. “Stan?” You asked, your voice cracking. He opened his mouth to speak, but he couldn’t bring himself to say anything. He just closed his eyes, and walked away. It hurt more than words. Much more.
It was silent for a moment, a tear slipped out of your eye. You stood still, trying to process what just happened. Your friends left you. They just left, they didn’t even let you explain. To be fair, you probably wouldn’t have wanted an explanation either, so you weren’t even mad at them. Only sad, and disappointed. Not in them, but more so yourself. You could’ve gone after them, yet here you were, still as a statue.
Henry reached over wiping a tear off your cheek. The contact made you flinch, you forgot he was standing there; he hadn’t spoken a word since you separated; you half expected him to run away. “I’m sorry.” He whispered, and the words felt foreign in your ears. It would still take some getting used to; a nice version of Henry Bowers. “It’s not your fault.” You said, distantly. Your thoughts were in a different place, it was obvious.
“I’m gonna head home.” You said, absentmindedly. “Alright, see you later.” Henry said, awkwardly. He gently kissed your cheek, and you began walking the other direction, head in the clouds. Henry hated seeing you like that; though it was strange, usually seeing you so messed up created a fire within him; made him want to pick on you more. Looking back, it seemed he had misread that feeling completely. Nonetheless, he hated seeing you like it, and had a plan.
Meanwhile, in Bill’s Garage..
The losers sat in a circle, in silence. “Are you sure-” Stan asked, and Richie glared at him, shutting him up. “What, do you think I’m blind?!” He exclaimed, and Ben opened his mouth to make a retort, but Richie glared in his direction. “Don’t even think about making a reference to my glasses.” He threatened, making Ben close his mouth and look down, avoiding Richie’s glare. A heavy silence hung in the air, no one knowing what to say.
None of them had been expecting that, to say the least. If anything, it was more likely in their minds for Stanley to date Henry Bowers; it simply didn’t make sense in the slightest. You always talked about how much you loathed Henry, and how you wished you could shove a sock in his fat mouth. Why the sudden change? Was it all an act? These thoughts ran through all their minds; trying to piece together signs you two were in a secret relationship; but nothing. It made no sense.
A loud knocking on the garage door startled them all. They all glanced around at each other, all eyes falling on Bill. “W-why me?” He asked, sighing. “It’s your garage.” Mike pointed out, shrugging. Bill rolled his eyes, standing up and opening the door. To all of their surprise, it wasn’t you. It was Henry Bowers. “Look, before you shut the door on me, I just want to say Y/N and I haven’t been dating behind your backs.” He said quickly, just as Bill was reaching to close the door again.
All the losers looked hesitant. “Just hear me out. I’m not gonna sugar coat it; I don’t like you. You don’t like me. I get that. But I really care about Y/N; I just fucking suck at showing it. She means so much to me; you wouldn’t understand. Hell, I don’t even understand. I just know I’m in love with her. Never in a million years would I think she’d like me back, but she does, and I don't know what the fuck I did to deserve it.” Henry said honestly, but got cut off by Richie. “And your point is?”
Henry sighed. “I’m not going to make her choose between me and you. If it comes down to it, I’ll back off.” The statement made the losers freeze. Even Richie was speechless. This couldn’t possibly be the same Henry Bowers who was torturing them only last week, could it? “Just talk to her. She’s really upset.” Henry said, and hesitated, as if wanting to say something else, before turning on his heel, and walking away.
“Did that actually just happen..?” Mike asked the question everyone was thinking, and they all shook their heads. “Shit, we need to talk to Y/N..” Stan said, and the group agreed, making their way to your house. Luckily, you lived only a block from Bill’s house, so they could easily walk there; without having to get their bikes. A quick jog later, they arrived at your house.
Bill walked up to the door, knocking. You sniffled, hear upon hearing a knocking at the door. Getting up, you opened the door, and your eyes widened upon seeing not only one, but all of your friends standing in front of the door, looking sheepishly at you. “Henry told us everything.” You nearly choked on air at Eddie’s statement. “What?” You asked, and Beverly pushed forward, squeezing you in a hug. “Oh, Y/N! I’m so sorry! I should’ve known you wouldn’t keep something like that from us.” She said, sadly. “It’s okay, Bev.” You said, squeezing back. All the boys looked at you, guilt evident on their faces.
“Oh please, get over here, assholes.” You said, you and Bev both making room for a group hug. The boys happily obliged, and you all stood in silence. “I’m sorry, Y/N.” Richie said, making the group turn to him, surprised. Usually, Richie would brush off apologies by making a joke, and that was that. “It’s okay, Richie.” You smiled, hugging him. As you released, you furrowed your brows in confusion. “Now back up a second. First of all, since when do you call him Henry? Second of all, he told you? As in he talked to you, a normal conversation?” You asked, astonished.
The losers nodded, explaining everything he’d told them. Your eyes blurred with tears; happy, rather than sad this time. It was the sweetest thing you’d ever heard. “You know Y/N, I never thought I’d say this, but I think Bowers is good for you.” Stan said, slinging an arm around your shoulder. “I never thought you would either.” You teased, and the group laughed.
You couldn’t help but dwell on what the losers told you Henry said. “I’m not going to make her choose between me and you. If it comes down to it, I’ll back off.” Henry didn’t seem like the type; though you shouldn’t have been surprised; within the last week, his entire demeanor and thought of you changed. You smiled as you looked around your friends, grateful for them, and now, grateful for them, and your new boyfriend, Henry Bowers.

PART 1 | PART 3
-
Over the past few days, you’d been noticing Henry acting strange. It wasn’t only you though. The entire of the Loser’s Club were noticing as well, even Belch and Vic were at a loss for words at his actions. Henry Bowers, all of a sudden, was the nicest person to you, and you didn’t know why. How could he be nice, might you ask? Well, let’s see..
Day 1
You were walking with Eddie, talking about how he needed to hurry up and confess his feelings for Richie, which he was denying. “I don’t like him!” He exclaimed, throwing his arms up and shaking his head. “Of course you don’t, Ed.” You said, chuckling. “Y/N!” A voice called, running after you. You turned, and you were shocked to see Henry Bowers, you didn’t even know he knew your name. “Here, take this. Put it on your, uh, arm, and it will heal it faster.” He said, smiling. Wait, he smiled? It wasn’t an evil smile, either, it was a genuine smile. “Uh, thanks, Bowers?” You questioned, stunned.
“Please. Call me Henry.” He said, and his friends called him over. “Gotta go, see ya, Y/N!” He said, smiling, and ran off. You and Eddie both stood still, unbelieving. “He knows how to say please?” You questioned, mostly to yourself, but to Eddie as well. Instead of answering your question, he asked his own. “What the hell just happened?” He asked, and you looked at him. “I have no fucking idea.”
Day 2
You were about to climb on your bike and leave your house, when you heard a car horn beep. You looked up, surprised to see none other than Henry Bowers and his gang, pulled up in your driveway. Henry motioned with his hand for you to go over. Vic and Belch looked like they didn’t want to be here, or didn’t know why they were here. “Can I help you, Bowers?” You questioned, thinking it was all a prank. “What did I say about my name? It’s Henry! And let us give you a ride. Come on, we have room.” He said, gesturing to the empty seat in the back, presumably where Patrick used to sit.
“It’s alright, thanks though.” You smiled politely, even though it felt oh-so-wrong to smile at the Henry Bowers. He looked upset, but he motioned for Belch to drive away, and he did. You were so confused, Henry Bowers was never nice. You assumed he was plotting something, and shook your head. Richie, whom you lived across the street from, biked over, seeing what happened. “What did he want?” He asked, curiously. “Nothing. Just making fun of me and calling me names again.” You said, and he nodded. It was simply the calm before the storm.
Right?
Day 3
You walked with Beverly, talking about how the boys were being ridiculous over some petty argument, when a car pulled up next to you two. You didn’t have to look to see who it was. “Fucks sake..” you muttered, Bev shooting you a confused look before she saw who’s car it was. “Oh.” She said, unamused. Henry jumped out of the car, motioning for his friends to stay in. “Hey, Y/N.” He smirked, walking over. He glared at Beverly “Hey, slut.” You gasped. “Fuck off, Henry! I don’t know what the hell your problem is, but leave me and my friends alone, dammit!” You screamed, grabbing Beverly’s arm and storming off in the direction you were originally heading.
You walked away so fast, you didn’t the the hurt and defeat flash on Henry’s face. He sighed, jumping back into the car. “You alright, man?” Belch asked, genuinely concerned. “Just drive.” Henry mumbled. “What was that?!” Beverly asked, shocked. “He’s been fucking with me, Bev! Every single damn day, he’s been so.. Nice to me! Ever since this!” You said, rolling up your long sleeve and pointing to your scars. ‘Y/N, did it ever occur to you he may feel.. Bad?” Bev asked, frowning. “It’s Henry Bowers, Bev.” You said, rolling your eyes. “I guess.” She muttered. “Anyways, about Richie’s argument..” You changed the subject, and you two continued along the path.
Day 4 (Present Day)
You were with the rest of the Loser’s Club, chilling downtown. You were laughing at a remark Stan made to Richie, giving him a high five. “Nice one, Stan.” You said, chuckling. “Hey!” Henry called, storming over. “Oh lord, not again..” You muttered, standing up along with the rest of the losers. You weren’t as tall as the others, so you were hidden behind Stan. “Hey, you little fucks. I’m bored, wanna play?” He asked, his knife sticking out in his pocket. “I haven’t got to use this in awhile, don’t want it to get rusty.” He said, and you felt Eddie shaking.
You gently pushed Stan, him stumbling, and walked straight up to Bowers. He was surprised, he didn’t expect you to be there. Then he realized what he was saying, and instantly straightened up. “O-Oh. Hey, Y/N.” He stuttered, and the entire loser’s club gawked. “Henry Bowers, the guy who makes fun of Bill for his stutter, is stuttering? What the hell is this shit?!” Richie exclaimed, his eyes bigger than usual. (which was quite big, thanks to his huge ass glasses).
“I’m not explaining myself to a bunch of losers.” Henry scoffed, but he looked weak. “That’s it!” You said, grabbing Henry’s arm and pulling him off to a more private area. “Y/N, are you insane?! He could kill you! Where are you going?!” Eddie screamed, instantly after taking a puff from his inhaler. “I’ll be fine, Eds.” You winked, and he immediately turned red, knowing you were lowkey hinting Reddie. (Obviously, you were the biggest reddie shipper in town).
Once you were satisfied with the distance between you and your friends, and you double checked to make sure Richie wasn’t eavesdropping, you turned to Henry, furious. “Okay, what the hell is wrong with you, Bowers? Why all of a sudden are you so nice to me? Stop fucking around, and tell me, because I’m sick of this game you’re playing!” You spat, angrily. Henry looked taken aback.
“I’m stupid and I don’t deal with emotions well, as you can tell. I’ve never once felt anything, ever. I’ve never felt sorry, or sad, only anger. But when I fucking went to sleep after hurting you, I could only feel guilt! It took me awhile to figure out why; it’s because I like you! Yeah, I said it! I like you, and I’m fucking stupid for liking a loser, I know. I might as well join your pathetic little club!” He said, all at once. You blinked, taking it in.
“I-, Uh, Umm” You stuttered, eyes wide. “What?” You asked bluntly, completing certain it was a prank. “wow, you're an idiot too. Great.” Henry muttered, and you went to reply, but Henry grabbed you by your shirt and smashed his lips to yours. You gasped, surprised, but an odd, tingly feeling grew in your stomach, and by instinct, you kissed back. It took the pair of you by surprise, and Henry pulled back slightly, looking at you with wide eyes. “I think I like you too, Henry.” You whispered, pulling him back into another kiss.
Despite his reputation, and him bullying you and your friends, you suddenly felt attracted him, more so than because of his looks. You knew you always had the same feeling in your stomach around him, but you'd always pushed it away as nerves, he walked around with a knife for god's sake. Still, you couldn't help but think he seemed genuine.
After pulling away, he pressed his forehead to yours. “I know I'm not the best person,” he started, looking at the scar he engraved on your arm, and frowning. “but I'm willing to try to be better.” You smiled, shyly. “I couldn't ask for more.” You replied, looking at him, and seeing him in a new light. You could get used to the new Henry Bowers; the bully you now could call your boyfriend. Damn, you never thought you’d say that. Now, to explain to the losers...

It had been a long summer, to say the least. You’d broken up with your boyfriend, Henry Bowers, (don’t ask, teenage years are confusing people!!), had a job babysitting some of the children around the town, (more so than usual, due to the unexpected rise in disappearances), and you’d taken it upon yourself to get away from home as much as possible, due to your, how shall we say.. protective mother. Like Eddie, you were forced to take what you now know to be ‘gazebos’ since a young age.
One certain day during the summer, you’d ended up at the library, (you were running out of places to hide from your mother, it was only two weeks left of summer vacation and she knew all you go-to locations), and you took it upon yourself to dig a bit deeper into your ‘illness’. You didn’t know much; your mother never elaborated on it much. That’s when you discovered what you’d really been taking, complete and utter bullshit.
Upon your lack of medicines, you saw things in a new light. The world felt clearer. They may have been bullshit pills, but not taking them.. You felt free. It was a whole new world for you. That’s when it became evident to you that you didn’t nearly pay enough attention to your brother the entire summer.
You’d hardly noticed it then, but you saw it crystal clearly now. All the signs were there, you were just too blind to see it. Eddie had changed over the summer. Not in your typical teenage way, where he’d become more mature and gone through, well, those changes.. No. He’d changed in a different way. To someone who didn’t know Eddie all that well, he’d look the same. Not you. You knew him like the back of your hand.
You noticed the little glances he took when you were walking, well, anywhere really. He always was checking left, right, front and behind, as if he were expecting something to jump out at him at any given minute. You saw how he went for his inhaler much more frequently, and could go through them within less than a month. You could practically feel his anxiety and nerves radiating off of him.
The biggest thing you’d noticed is that he was never alone. He was always terrified at the thought or mention of it. He always had Richie, Stan, you, or your mom around. Sometimes the other losers, but it was rare, unless there was more than one. Even when you were home just the two of you, he was nervous. Simply just to go to the kitchen alone took all his courage, you could see it in his eyes. He was so jumpy, it was really beginning to worry you.
On this particular night, however, you noticed he started to seem a bit happier. He seemed normal, and all you felt was relief. He was your little brother, he meant the world to you. You hated seeing him like the way he had been, and you’d felt as though a huge weight had been lifted off your shoulders. He’d now gone to bed, and you were sat on the couch, reading quietly. You weren’t sure when, but at some point, you’d managed to fall asleep.
“Oh, Eddie!” Pennywise cooed, stepping towards him menacingly. He was back in the Neibolt house, Pennywise approaching, much faster than Eddie remembered. He’d be alright though; his friends were coming to help. As IT slowly got closer and closer, Eddie began to panic. Where were his friends?! “No one’s here to save you now, Eds.” The clown spoke, his voice permanently haunting Eddie’s mind. “First your sister, now you..” IT laughed, and the wicked smile that grew on it’s face was something Eddie would never forget. “No.. no..” Eddie whispered, shielding his body with his one good arm.
Eddie writhed in the sheets, the intensity of his dream causing beads of sweat to form on his forehead. “No, no, no..” Eddie muttered, his eyes squinted shut, trying to break himself out of the horrors of his nightmare. “NO!” He screamed, shooting out of bed. He felt something wet trickle down his face, and he touched it ever-so-gently. Tears. He was crying. As reality slowly sunk it, he began to cry.
He wasn’t sure if he was crying out of fear and agony of witnessing IT again, or if it was from pure and utter relief that it was only a dream. He slipped out of bed, knowing only one thing that could cheer him up. He made his way slowly and quietly to your room, which oddly had your door open. You never left it open. He peered inside, only to find you not there. The panic washed over him once again; what if you were gone? What if IT came back, and stolen you while he was asleep? It seemed irrational, but so did the entire encounter with it.
He raced down the stairs, his footsteps pounding loudly against the wooden floorboards, the sound echoing through the house. As he entered the living room, where he’d last left you, an indescribable feeling washed over Eddie. There you were, his big sister, safe and sound, passed out on the couch. The book you were reading was open to your page on the floor, and he chuckled, relieved. Tears were still endlessly rolling down his flushed cheeks, and he was choking back sobs to keep from waking you.
He stood for a moment, quietly sniffling. He wanted nothing more than his sister's comfort at that moment, but he didn’t want to wake you. Seems he didn’t have to though, because the next thing he knew you began shifting slightly and you peeled your eyes open with a quiet groan. Looking up, you saw the blurred figure of your younger brother due to the heavy sleep you’d just awoken from.
“Eds?” You asked, sleepily. You rubbed your eyes, and heard a sniffle. Looking up, your vision was much clearer now, and you saw Eddie crying. “Oh my god, eds, what’s wrong?” You asked, completely awake and alert, concern evident in your voice. Eddie broke down, no longer fighting the sobs that wracked his body, and latched himself onto you with a death grip in a hug.
You pulled him close, sitting him gently on the couch and rubbed his back soothingly. “It’s okay, Eds. I’m right here.” You said, sadly. You had no idea what was causing his pain, but seeing him like this physically and mentally hurt you. You’d go as far as to say it hurt you as much as it did him, if not more. You held him tightly, the only sound in the quiet room being his sniffles and your reassuring whispers.
Slowly but surely, his crying slowed to a stop. You waited patiently, you knew he would tell you when he was ready. “I-I-I had a b-bad dream.” Eddie whispered through sniffles, his voice cracking. “Eds, relax. You’re starting to sound like Bill.” You said, rubbing your hand gently in circles on his back. Eddie laughed a bit at this, but was still tense. His laughter died down quickly, though, and you sat in silence once again. Just as you went to speak again, Eddie sighed. “I was all alone.. No one was there to save me.. and..” He trailed off. He didn’t need to tell you the rest.
“Edward Kaspbrak, are you serious?” You asked, incredulously. He looked at you, startled. “You have the best group of friends that has ever walked this town; Bill, Richie, Beverly, Mike, Ben AND Stan! They’d never leave you alone. Trust me, getting Richie to leave this house is hard work!” You exclaimed, and Eddie looked down, smiling to himself. “Hey, even without your friends. You still have mom, and even if she is a bit much at times, she cares so much for both of us.”
You paused, waiting for his response. Upon seeing he didn’t have one, you continued. “Besides. You still have me. I’ll never leave you, Eds. If you ever need me, any time, any place. I’ll be there.” You smiled, pulling him into a side hug and ruffling his hair. “Promise?” He asked, vulnerably. “I promise, Eds.” “And Y/N?” He asked, pulling away. “Yeah?” You asked, frowning. “Don’t call me Eds.”
