Clocked in, barely awake, coffee in hand—then ding.
A message. A glimpse of her, barely covered, bathed in soft morning light. Sleepy eyes, warm skin, a teasing smirk meant just for me. Suddenly, the hum of fluorescent lights and the drag of another workday don’t matter.
How am I supposed to focus when she’s out there, looking like sin wrapped in sunrise? When all I want is to be there, pressing lazy kisses to her skin, waking her up the way she deserves?
Instead, I’m here. Hard, restless, and already counting the hours until I can get my hands on her.
