Running into Hope again seemed like a good enough reason for some catching up. Atieno had been throughout the stars for some time and trying to explain the things they had been up to seemed to take them ages.

“Sorry, sorry. I don’t mean to ramble but you know.. I get so caught up in some of these things that happen out in space. Often I’m trying to just to maintain the backend of the whole thing and mind my business. But you’d be surprised how often I have to come in and just.. break up absurd disputes.“

It’d be funny if it wasn’t also frustrating from time to time. Such were the costs of ‘entertainment’ in their eyes.

   “It seems like the world has taken a lot out of me as it is.“ Saima responds quietly. Although they did want to believe that there was still better ahead, their exhaustion had a way of catching up with them now and then.

“Doctor,” Missy shouted, voice hoarse with tiredness- their little expedition had been less than successful. Walking out of the clearing and towards the farm house, she ducked as a cyber man’s ray shot over her. She momentarily thought of making a snarky comment but in a rare moment of sanity thought better of it. “Doctor, I came back... to stand with you.”
