mice and murder is genuinely so good and i desperately hope it gets another season or spin off or something. the murder mystery setting was so fun and players in that season really stuck to their characters which created super entertaining dynamics. i know some people don’t like the zoom seasons but this one is so good and used the fact that everyone wasn’t in the same room to heighten the genre and increase the sense of mystery! hoping and wishing there will be more in the future in some manner

My modern AU couple gazing each other. This was hard day at work and a lot documents to look through. And they got so tired of it that became little angry arguing among themselves.

Detective Cross nervously got up from the table and walked over to Thora. He stared at his partner in silence for a second, trying to figure out what annoys him the most right now: on the one hand, he was used to her face remaining impassive even in a stressful situation, and on the other hand, he felt his tension, and it urgently needed to be thrown out.

It would be useless to shout, and it would be groundless — it wasn't her fault that they were digging into this case. Leaving the station and getting drunk was not an option, because he would let her down again after everything she had just done for him.

"What is it?" the excitement was clearer in Thora's voice.

"I can't take it anymore," Harry shook his head dejectedly. "Shall we take a break? No case is worth it..."

He did not have time to finish, and Thora had already risen from her seat and was about to take her jacket from the hanger. Those straight shoulders, the tattoo with wings. Damn it, where had his eyes been before, while he was getting used to her, learning to work with another person again. Maybe this girl was weird, but she was pretty attractive.

"Thora," he called out to her before pulling her by the arm and turning her around to face him. Startled, the girl backed away and sat down on the table. Detective Cross had tried to break certain boundaries before, which she had built in the beginning, but now everything was different. His presence was necessary, it brought them back to reality, despite the madness that was happening in the world around them.
