⋆. 𐙚 ˚𝓙ust some Yuu headcanons but they're all canon because I said so

Grim has nightmares of you someday leaving him and he wakes up crying and screaming, it wakes you up everytime he has nightmares because hearing Grim cry immediately makes you distressed. He would snuggle up to you more and you would sing him a lullaby back home to help him fall asleep and it always works. However you can't fall asleep back because you know after you go back home Grim will be alone in the Ramshackle with no one to take care of him.

On the topic of sleeping; you would sometimes tell him a bedtime story from your back home if he couldn't fall asleep. Stories with bad endings makes him upset even though he tells you otherwise so you would often make up a happy ending for him— even though the original story had the most gut wrenching bad ending.

The students at NRC view both you and Grim as a parent and son duo respectively— this would get reinforced when you call him little one occasionally. Grim actually likes being viewed as your son but would never tell you that, you know that he secretly likes being your dubbed son because he puffs out his chest whenever your dynamic gets mentioned. He also likes being babied, but would rather die than admit that to you.

He gets overprotective over you, like: whenever a guy asks for your number while you're away from him or when a guy seems more closer to you than normal he immediately gets mad and would get into fights if not for you intervening. And if anyone tries to steal a seat near you? Best believe he's gonna throw a fit, he literally cannot be seated away from you because he needs physical touch from you. Ace and Malleus catches strays from him because of the amount of times they tried to sit next to you.

You have four jars of savings hidden away just incase; one jar is for you, it's for when you want something nice but can't get it because of the allowance Crowley gives you— it's not even full, dare I say it's ninety percent empty. Meanwhile the other three are for Grim, it's for when you leave back home, and since you don't want Grim to starve, you left him some cash because you doubt Crowley will. You thought of this after overthinking late at night for what you will do incase you ever got the opportunity to go back home.

The ghosts promised to take care of Grim when you ever go back. This promise was made after watching the two of you (mainly Grim) cry at night about the possibility of you going back home.

If you have any jewelry in you, (I do, so this is like a self indulgence) you will most likely give it to Grim to help him cope your eventual disappearance. And if you have more then you probably gave it to Ace and Deuce. They most likely had to hold back tears while you have it to them; now they fidget with it when they ever feel anxious or if they miss you.

The people who are close to you got used to you being so touchy with them (this is actually canon, Yuu in the game has physical touch as their love language) and started doing it back to you. And if they're not usually touchy to other people, you're most likely the only exception.

There is practically no chance that you didn't have some kind of scarring during the overblots. You probably do have some littered all over your body.

You are camera shy. How did your friends find out? It's because you always take pictures of them, but whenever someone offers to take pictures so you could join them you would always turn it down. So when you leave they will most likely forget your face, they know this that's why they try to include you in the photos, but you will always reason with them. However Grim is the only exception for this panicking because you have a picture of only the two of you baking in your kitchen, miraculously you were in frame because it was a selfie. You made it into a locket so you could give it to your son (yes son) when you depart from twisted wonderland.

✦Characters: Deuce Spade, Jack Howl, Floyd Leech, Kalim Al-Asim, Silver

✦You two are walking back from shopping and you ask “Why are you not holding my hand?”

Deuce Spade

Deuce freezes mid step like he just got caught breaking a very important rule. He looks at you. Looks down at the 4 shopping bags in his hands then looks back at you. His face instantly crumples into the most heartbreaking guilty puppy expression. He looks like he personally failed you.

“I can’t right now…” he mumbles, ears turning red. “My hands are full and I don’t wanna drop anything… I’m really sorry…”

You keep pouting for dramatic effect. Deuce panics. He starts shifting his weight from foot to foot like he’s trying to solve an impossible equation. “But… um… you can hold my arm instead! Like this!”

He angles his elbow out toward you. It’s the most earnest, awkward, offer in the world. You finally crack and laugh, looping your arm through his properly and squeeze it. “It was a joke, dummy. You’re cute when you feel guilty.”

Deuce lets out a huge, relieved breath. His whole body relaxes. “Jeez… don’t scare me like that! I thought I was being a bad boyfriend for a second…”

He still keeps his arm angled so you can stay linked the whole way home. And every few steps he glances over to make sure you’re smiling.

Jack Howl

Jack doesn’t even pause walking. He just glances down at his very full hands then at you. “I can’t.” he says simply. “Hands are occupied.”

You stop walking. Cross your arms. Raise an eyebrow. “If you don’t wanna hold my hand, you could just say so.”

Jack stops dead. Tail goes stiff. He turns to face you fully, brows furrowed like you just accused him of something serious. “That’s not…” He exhales through his nose. “That’s not what I meant.”

Then without another word he grabs four bags in one hand, freeing the other completely. The newly free hand immediately reaches for yours, fingers lacing tight. “There!” he grunts, cheeks pink. “Happy now?”

You grin. He huffs, but doesn’t let go even when the bags start cutting into his other palm. He carries everything one handed the rest of the way. Refuses to let you help.

Floyd Leech

Floyd is swinging the grocery bags like they’re toys humming some tune when you ask. He stops swinging. Tilts his head.

“Ehhh~? My hands are full, Shrimpyyy~” He lifts both arms and shakes the bags.

You cross your arms. “That’s not an excuse.”

Floyd blinks once. Then his grin stretches impossibly wider and delighted, like you just gave him permission to cause chaos. Without hesitation he drops one entire bag straight down onto the sidewalk.

Crack.

You both hear the eggs give up on life. Floyd doesn’t even look at the bag. He just reaches out, taking your hand in his now free one, and swings your joined hands like nothing happened.

“Happy now~?” he asks, kicking the ruined bag lightly out of his way.

“Floyd! The eggs!”

He shrugs, completely unbothered. “You’re the one who said it wasn’t an excuse~ So I made an excuse go away. Problem solved.”

You scold him the whole way home. He just laughs, squeezes your hand tighter, and keeps swinging your arms.

The broken eggs become his new favorite inside joke. Every time you buy eggs after that he dramatically pretends to drop the carton.

Kalim Al-Asim

He stops. Looks at the bags. Looks at his hands. Looks at you. Then his face lights up like he just solved the greatest puzzle ever. “Oh! Wait wait wait! I’ve got it!”

He very carefully adjusts the bags so they’re still secure… then stretches his pinky finger out toward you as far as it’ll go.

“Here! Hold my pinky!” He beams, eyes sparkling. “It’s almost like hand holding! See? We’re still connected!”

You stare at the single pinky. Then at his bright, earnest smile. You can’t help it, you burst out laughing and hook your pinky around his.

“This is so cute! We should do this all the time!” He swings your linked pinkies the rest of the way home like it’s the most romantic thing in the world (and it is). Every few steps he giggles and says “Im a genius!”

Silver

Silver blinks at you slowly, head tilted, clearly processing the question like it came from another language.

“…I can’t right now.” he says, calm and honest. He lifts both hands slightly, the shopping bags rustling. “My hands are full.”

You give him your best sad puppy eyes. “But… I feel more comfortable and safe when I’m holding your hand…”

Silver freezes. His eyes widen and a flicker of panic crossing his usually serene face. He looks at the bags again. Thinking very seriously for three full seconds. Then without a word he simply holds one of the lighter bags out toward you.

“Here.” he says softly. “You carry this one. Then we can hold hands.”

You take the bag (it was just some bread in that bag, easy). Silver immediately slides his now free hand into yours, fingers lacing gently but firmly.

“Better?” he asks, voice quiet, a tiny flush on his cheeks.

You nod, squeezing his hand. He gives the smallest, softest smile, like he’s relieved he solved the crisis. He keeps your hand in his the entire walk home. Every so often he glances over to check that you still look happy and safe.

When you two get back he insists on carrying everything else inside himself.

okay so…!!! Ace!! I talked about him in my last post before i redid his sprite THREE TIMES.

He’s was out with some friends for a vacation when the whole end of the world thing started happening, and he got separated from them after they had a huge fight over what to do, he realized too late that they had his backpack with his phone, so he can’t call his brother to come get him. He comes to yuu’s house to use their phone, but his brother’s phone goes to voicemail, so he decides to stay and try again later. (Spoiler: his brother’s not going to come pick him up. His brother is dead.)

Deuce had a fight with his mom, he had promised to stay away from his ‘friends’ (read: gang he was a part of) after he had been arrested a few too many times, and he went back to them, she found some drugs and knives in his room, and confronted him, to which he got upset, and ran away. He stayed with his ‘friends’, and was planning to go back, but this pissed his ‘friends’ off, so they beat the crap out of him, and abandoned him way away from his hometown. He has to hide in a small brick house for a few nights, where he gets into a fight with a visitor, and then has to run until he finds a house to stay in, which happens to be yuu’s. He lies about this and just says that his friends had forgotten about him when travelling.

His lap. He takes great pride in having you sit on his legs and cuddle against his chest while talking about your day or simply banter with him, his arms wrapped around your waist or his hands busy stroking your face and hair.

Deuce chuckles if you giggle while adjusting yourself, he feels strong and able to protect you under any circumstances, and he firmly refuses the possibility of a situation where he is the one sitting on your lap. He doesn't change his mind no matter what, case closed.

TREY CLOVER

His: Trey knows really well you cannot resist his scent after a baking session, so, when you enter the room with the same composure of a predator out for blood, he's more than ready to greet you appropriately. Chuckling and without forgetting a tender forehead kiss as first meal, he wraps you in his garments and takes you in his lap, so you can snuggle together to your heart content.

More than once you fall asleep on top of him and Trey doesn't have the courage or will to wake you up, with the results you sleep like a royal... and he has to pray to have a peaceful day ahead.

And still, you will never hear him complaining or scolding you about this. Not once.

CATER DIAMOND

Yours, definitely. The best chit chats and laughs are brought to life whenever he jumps on your lap and wraps your shoulders with one arm, then uses the free hand to take the first selfie of a long chain.

He doesn't leave the spot for hours, just keeping talking or teasing you, or simply enjoying the comfortable silence while scrolling his phone and humming by himself, your soft arms and body warmth hugging him like a blanket.

The best recharge spot for his soul.

RIDDLE ROSEHEARTS

Yours, even if you can clearly tell he's always a bit uncomfortable.

At start, you think it's because the housewarden is not used to it already, since the relationship is at its first steps; but when months pass and you both grow, together and by yourself, and this thing doesn't change, you understand it's not a matter of shyness or embarrassment - quite of frustration, since Riddle would like to be athletic and strong enough to not only hold you in his lap for hours, but also lift you. So he always has a pouting and dissatisfied look when he's in your lap, that slowly and slightly melts as soon as you start spoiling him in kisses and cuddles.

You can try to tell him everything is fine and it's not the end of the world if he cannot repay your loving acts with the same coin, things can change and who knows what will happen in the future; and even if your words manage to move something, this remains a thorn in Riddle's flesh, that needs time to be removed. Time, this is the golden rule.

LEONA KINGSCHOLAR

Both ways are great for the lion; and from one to the other, the step is really short.

Usually, when the prince wants to have some time alone or he's tired to deal with everyone's shit, he grabs you and retires with you somewhere, putting you on his lap and then burying the face against your hair or in the crook of your neck, whispering on your skin to not start yapping or babbling, just stay silent and let his ears rest; then, as soon as he starts relaxing and leaving behind the events of the day, Leona starts changing position and in a matter of seconds and without ceremony, he puts you to sit and rest the head on your lap, face sunk against your flesh and the world far, far away. No use to try to get his attention now, he shuts down for hours and everyone can get lost.

Exception made for you, of course, if you don't push your luck too much.

JACK HOWL

His, once Jack wins the embarrassment of having you pressed against his chest.

Every single time, the wolf warns you to behave yourself and not try anything funny with your ears or tail, or he will push off in a blink of an eye, adding you are allowed in his lap just for this occasion; but, well, he doesn't really keep his word on the latter statement, so he ends up grumbling every time on how you make him weak - all while keeping you flushed against his chest and refusing to let you go.

EPEL FELMIER

His. No matter what, he would always choose his: Epel doesn't matter your size or weight, he prefers to have all his bones creaking and muscles screaming in pain rather than being the one on your lap; this, or you are condemned to hear him cursing till your hair turns white.

Still, if the situation is particularly comical, he doesn't hold back a laugh, buried under your body but still holding you proudly and hiding his struggling as much as he can; and he even finds the strength to tease you, if he sees you all red and embarrassed. Out of discussion letting you go or change positions, his banshee screams are always ready to kick in.

VIL SCHOENHEIT

Both, and taking great pleasure when doing it.

If he's the one on your lap, just expect... the unexpected: Vil can appear slim and fragile as crystal, but the right moment he elegantly sits on your lap as if you were his throne and you sink under his weight, you know there is no turning back from this. No. He chuckles gracefully at the sight of your astonished face and how crimson you are turning, and he doesn't hold back a comment on your remarkable strength and dedication to the cause, one of his hand sliding on your cheek and the other adjusting your hair, if messy, or playing with the strands while slowly crossing and uncrossing his legs, just to shift the weight and test the resistance of your legs. You won't forget this experience, not even in a lifetime, and he likes the thought.

And if you are the one on his lap, instead... the astonishment and blushing is no less: his trained muscles hold you without any effort and his hands are free to do as they please with you, and Vil doesn't show any sign of distress or struggle, keeping his usual tone and aura, with a satisfied grin born from knowing how much the proximity with his body makes your legs tremble and your mind fall in a twirl of sensations. It's like being held by the statue of a deity, with the difference that the deity is not made of marble but of flesh, and you have all his attention, to the point none could find it strange if you started to beg and chant his name. Oh, he would love it for sure.

HONEST FELLOW

Sprowled like a cat on your lap, living his best life. No hesitation. No remorse.

He comes to you dragging himself with theatrical exasperation and giving you a melodramatic speech, before climbing on your legs and covering you with all his body by hugging you, his tongue keeping to babble and talking and covering your protests if in that moment you were busy doing something and you have not that much time to take care of him; but you have already learned it's basically useless trying to resonate with Honest if he wants your company, so or you start a long, pointless and unneccessary bicker where you are the loser from the beginning, or you sigh and say goodbye to your free time for the rest of the day.

For hours Honest takes up residence on your lap, complaining and pouting if you kindly ask him to let your legs breathe for a moment, of course denying your request and even biting you if you try to push him away. Only after a lot of time, and not without acting like a victim, Honest accepts or to let you move your poor legs for a fraction of second, or to change positions and hold you in his lap and give you some mercy - what a considerate man we have here.
