Description: According to folklore, an 80ft snake is living in Devil’s Lake, North Dakota. Described as red-eyed & alligator-like, this beast was supposedly hooked and dragged by fishermen in 1896. Another sighting in 1908 described it as a large fish.

The Devil's Lake Monster is a cryptid said to inhabit Devil's Lake near Lincoln City, Oregon. It has been described as a large, octopus-like creature, though it has also been likened to a large fish and a plesiosaur.

Stories of a monster in the lake date back to the local Native American tribes. There are several accounts of canoes on the lake being attacked and men being pulled under the surface. In 1950, a globster was discovered on the shore of the lake that was nicknamed "Old Hairy."

Devil’s Lake Monster

Location: North America (Wisconsin) Betentacled monsters were reported in Devil’s Lake in Wisconsin, and until now, still remains a mystery. The first sighting tells of a chief of the Native American tribe living near the lake assigned members to go on a late hunting trip with him. Soon after they set forth, the canoe was capsized by a huge, mysterious, cephalopod-like creature. The screams of their fellow tribesmen were heard by the others, and rushed to the scene, and they were able to see the horrible scene. Because of this, they offer sacrifices annually in homage to their fallen members.
