喩えるなら・・・倉庫の隅に置いたまま何年も放置していた昔のモノクロ映画のビデオテープを観ているような。意識の底に沈んだ大昔の記憶を掘り起こしてスローモーションで再生したかのような。その感覚はメランコリックでもノスタルジックでもない。見せられるその無彩色の映像に我々の意識は硬直し、冷える。ちょうど客が自分しかいない映画館で居眠りしてしまった感覚に近い。そこには他者が居ない。あるのは自分の意識のみで、意識と映像が向かい合って対立している。居眠りをし、やがて目が覚めると、映画はまだ終わっておらず、どれくらい寝ていたのかもいま何時なのかも分からない。まだ夢の世界の続きかもしれない。映像は杲杲と流れている。そこだけ時間軸の鎖から解き放たれた空間かのように、意識だけがふわっと浮遊している・・・。『Moonless』は2013年のサウンド・コラージュ作品である。作者の Devon Hansen は最近では〈Where To Now?〉からリリースしていたり、〈flau〉から Stefan Jós 名義でダブテクノをリリースしていたりする。この名義では Dem Hunger（＝WANDA GROUP）などから影響をうけたとみられる夢幻的なミュージック・コンクレートを創っている。ビート系のレーベルだった〈Astro:Dynamics〉にとってこの作品は転機だったであろう。この作品をリリースした2013年以降、当レーベルからはエレクトロ〜IDM色が一気に薄まり、夢想の旅へと走っている。気になる諸氏はレーベルのカタログを参照されたい。
