Over the Rainbow I and II, a side by side comparison! 🌈✨Since I had both sets out I figured I’d describe some of the visual changes Kraken made in their new mold (Over the Rainbow II, on the right) versus their first mold (Over the Rainbow, on the left):

Overall - new font! Friendlier & consistent across all pieces.

d6 - the 6 no longer has an underline.

d4 - slightly larger/pointier, rainbow colors changed direction.

d% - orientation of numbers now matches the d10.

d8 - larger numbers.

d20 - noticeably larger overall size. The orientation of the Kraken (20) face changed too - notice in the first run the bottom of the 2 and the Kraken share an edge, where now the bottom of the 8 and the Kraken (20) share the edge (as is common for most d20s).

The bigger d20 is such a nice feature of new Kraken Dice sets; the numbers are easier to read and the dice are so much more fun to roll! Now if only Over the Rainbow II had come with a d2... 🌈

More found treasure in the stock room -- a cache of d120s in Malachite green. I forgot I had these and they're now live on Dark Elf Dice (along with matching d48s). Really unusual dice from The Dice Lab.
