i know "it's not that serious" but it genuinely annoys me when ppl ship curt and rod. their whole thing is that they thought the way they felt for each other must be romantic and tried dating but it didn't work for them bcs their feelings are not romantic and they are platonic life partners. it just feels so dismissive and allonormative/amatonormative when ppl look at that relationship, completely ignore what they've said and decide it must be romantic if they're life partners. my favourite form of polyamory in date everything is with curt and rod bcs it's a different type of polyamory to the others (triads; volt&eddie, florence&celia, washford&drysdale, tony&tina, ETC) and it's upsetting to see everyone wanting to erase multiple types of representation- qprs and vee polyamory

While browsing for Min Su and Thanos content I found a post that compared the scene where Sang Woo betraying Ali in the marble game to Min Su betraying Se-Mi in the mingle game by choosing to beat her in rock paper scissors, going with Thanos n Nam-Gyu instead of finding a third with her with the caption "every betrayal begins with trust"

My immediate reaction was basically this:

But also I don't think it's the same, necessairly (going off of memory here so feel free to correct me)

Firstly, Min Su wasn't really in a position of power in the sense that Thanos didn't choose one of them, he wanted them to play rock paper scissors instead. Which is fucked to put people in the position of. Sang Woo was 100% in a position of power more since Ali trusted him. A lot, yknow?

Secondly, I don't know exactly what I would have liked to happen necessairly but Sang Woo of course knew 100% that Ali would die by giving him pebbles. Min Su effectively took a gamble to save his own ass. Is it still fucked? Yeah. But he didn't know for 100% certain she would die. Plus he paid for it a little by Thanos not picking him for the next round n him kinda being in the same position he put Se-Mi in last round.

Idk if I explained this very well but they feel similar in the fact that they're both fucked but one is more fucked up.

Or maybe I'm just a Min Su apolgist lol idk.

Ngl it’s REALLY telling of a fandom when Eryn puts out lore and the only thing people seen to care about is c!Tommy.

Like not even Eryn’s relationship with c!Tommy, just Tommy. Like guys… there’s more than just Tommy!!

Eryn’s character is so freaking interesting! His parents met in the nether, got together, had a half demon child kid. This kid then left home for a bit and came home to his entire life gone. This kid is then on his own for god knows how long before ending up in the Dream SMP.

Like… guys. Let’s imagine this took place like… a couple weeks before Tommy left to the Dream SMP. That means Eryn would have been on his own for over a year, no family, no home, no friends. Eryn probably had to steal, borrow, and bribe to survive, which is reflected in his behaviors on the SMP

Imagine after he killed all the piglins he left and went back to Tommy’s. Something terrible happened, he needs a place to stay and he knows someone who would probably take him in. Only Tommy had already left home for the Dream SMP. So now Eryn has to deal with not only losing his family and home but also his best friend. Imagine how much that must have hurt.

THEN!! He eventually finds this friends again and THE GUYS BARELY WANTS TO HANG OUT. He barely sees Tommy despite being best friends and now in the same location. So he’s again, alone and all he wanted was some friends.

OH YEAH!! And also Eryn can sense echoes from the past of tragic, destructive, and deadly events! THATS AWESOME!!

Tldr: Eryn is a good character. You can talk about c!Tommy just don’t ignore the entire main character in that lore.

People are getting borderline ridiculous with all the Eddissy hate. 

First of all, Jason is an antagonist this season, like he’s doing everything that’s in his power to hurt the characters we, as an audience, care about. We are not supposed to like him nor root for him, so why is so bad that we ship Chrissy with Eddie instead of Jason? 

And then, I personally don’t think he was super abusive towards her, there’s no evidence in canon to support that, but I also don’t think he was nice to her in a “I respect my girlfriend and think she’s an actual human being” kind of way. Like it’s the 80′s and he’s super conservative, he probably just see Chrissy as a wife project not like a person with feelings and thoughts. Their relationship would probably had a power imbalance rooted in his ideas. He didn’t know about her visions, or how she felt lately, and that guys is not what a healthy nice relationship looks like, I mean, she told Eddie that she was feeling like she was going crazy and she thought they hadn’t talked ever, c’mon. 

I, personally, don’t think there has to be a reason to justified shipping a character with another character when one of them have a partner. It’s fiction. Characters can cheat or they simple can break up with their partners and it isn’t a crime. Unless it’s something illegal or immoral, I don’t know why is such a big deal. 

Yes, she had a boyfriend, but she also had crazy chemistry with Eddie and told him things she hadn’t told her boyfriend. I don’t know where’s the problem with that.

okay in the tags of that last reblog I kinda got off topic but like. it just reminded me of something that REALLY got on my nerves back when I was still on dsmptwt? Like. When the big sbi callout thing went around and Techno became public enemy number one on twitter, it pissed me the fuck OFF to see just how many people I KNEW I had seen raving about his RP/his character only a week before, talking about how good the stuff he did was and everything, suddenly start talking crazy shit about his character and writing nonstop the SECOND he got called out and the public perception turned negative towards him.

like. if a content creator whose work you enjoy does something that upsets you or makes you uncomfortable, you don't have to suddenly hate everything they've ever done. What you do by publicly talking about how garbage something you were defending only a week before is make yourself look like you're only doing it for "good person points" or something-- like ah shit it's publicly accepted to hate this person now, I better hate them Enough and Loudly Enough! Because that's what activism is, right? It's talking loudly enough on a public forum about how much you hate someone/their work so that everyone around you knows HEY I AM A GOOD PERSON I HATE THE BAD GUY. /s

It's just. So shitty and transparent. Nobody on that fucking website has even a STITCH of integrity. If you're pissed off at a creator for doing something that makes you uncomfortable, talk about THAT. Get mad about THAT. You're not helping anybody by making sure you talk loudly enough about how bad you think a problematic writer's work is if you don't even bother talking about what the writer did that is specifically bothering you, you're just earning yourself social media brownie points for hating the right person loudly enough that others can hear.
