Posting a couple cards before printing. Simple and legible, really can’t wait to get these printed and play with them in person.

DIY Tarot deck update
Hi everyone! How are you tonight?
This week I’ve been working nonstop on my thesis and I still have a long way to go (I feel like everytime I cross an item of my checklist, three more appear!) so I wasn’t the most prolific crafter out there.
I still managed to complete all wands and cups. Plus all kings, queens, knights and pages AND all major arcana from the other days... there’s 58 down, only 20 more to go!
I’ll be updating my progress again next week once I’m (hopefully) done with my academic obligations... probably
When will I be done? Place your bets here! (winner won’t win anything else other than personal satisfaction).

Significance of Tarot Minor Arcana Cards 1 - 10
I started this post -- coincidentally -- at 11:11pm. Oh, 11:11 everyone thinks you're so cool with your columns, those mirrored towers. 11:11 looks so pristine, so clean and unfussy. Life is seldom orderly though, and maybe that's why this number is considered to be divine by the religious and superstitious. And 11:11 isn't worth talking about unless you acknowledge the theory that the numerals are windows/doors for the angels to come through. Not sure on the logistics of that, but it's a nice thought. Even though I feel sheepish about 11:11, denying the significance of numerology in my life is severely dishonest. I actully use numerology all the time since it's such a huge part of tarot. Numerology is really baked into tarot, so I've learned the significance of 1-10 through the study of tarot. Like cards, everyone has a slightly different interpretation of the 1-10 sliding scale, but I like to think of it as a journey from the start of an element to the end of the element. Here's a little cheat sheet on how to remember what the numbered cards in the Minor Arcana mean (aka basic numerology 1-10), so that when you draw a numbered card next time you can string together a meanining using mostly your intution. Each of these definitions should be 1: Beginnings. Distillation of ideas. Confidence. The start of something exciting. Is there a sign or a hint that you're on to something? 2: Union. Balance. The merging of two ideas. Partnerships. Choices. Taking a purposeful step in a differenct direction. How can you make the informed choice of following your gut? 3: Group dynamics. Thinking about yourself in relation to others. What is your designated role in a group of people? What can you share with others? 4: Stability. Sheleter. Safety. How can I expand past my comfort zone? 5: Conflict. Opposition. Worry. Growing Pains. A period of transition. What is my ideal outcome? Regardless if I have one or not, what are my motives? 6: Transactions. Focus on the give and take. Luck. Potential. How can I foster curiousity with safe boundaries? 7: Variety. Growth. Exploration. Adventure. Feeling overwhelemed. There's a lot going on so what do I really want to focus on? 8: Potential movemement. Hard work. Resilience. How will the experiences I've dedicated myself to change my life? 9: Independence. Self-confidence. Deciding what makes your story unique. How do I shed my ego to build community? 10: Nearing a completion point with one of the suits (wands or rod, swords, pentacles or coins) The hope is that you can shift into focusing on something different knowing that you are one with the suit of interest and others who are currently working in the same medium. Pat yourself on the back. You did some amazing self-analysis and you're ready to grow into your next big story ALSO - Did you know that I'm a full time tarot reader? Progress photo. Today I am working on the card for the Empress. I am loving this sim. She looks so radiant and beautiful, embodying everything the empress represents.
XVII The Star - Regaining hope, looking towards the future, positive thinking, believing, expectation, inspiration, motivation, receiving the answer, spreading the wealth, generosity, opening your heart, letting love flow freely, peace of mind, serenity, remaining untroubled
The Star features a trans woman, relaxing in a beautiful oasis created by the outpouring of her heart. In her garden, flowers bloom with five petals - a feminine number that represents mercy, kindness, healing, and adventure. Another number that is important to this card is the number seven, repeated through the stars and the number of flowers. Seven is a number that represents thinking and seeking the truth, someone who is searching for the answers. In this case, the answer comes in the form of a glorious star shaped like a compass rose, pointing her in the right direction.

Revamp!! Which Fool text do you prefer? The loopy one on the left, or the more structure one on the right? Spent some time (omg so many hours) searching for fonts. Wanted to capture the handwritten vibe of the index cards and match the new eye!
Finished the Major Arcana in a whirlwind during the middle of the night!
The cards are messy, but everything will get tweaked and refined on the next pass through. I want to go through the pip cards and get all the information laid.
Trying to put more than a couple meanings on the cards, because there’s so many different interpretations for each card.
Posting the Fool first, because I 100% feel like one right now! This is both exciting and ridiculous, something new and something unknown. Seems like a FANTASTIC fit!
