saparata here is mostly based on the pvr civilisation smp, but i take it less dramatically and i kinda mold his backstory into a mythological kinda reading. saparata was previously a great king, who was loved by the people and cherished by his fellow rulers. that is, until fluxion, a spiteful witch that was jealous of his power, cursed him to be ridiculed and outcast by the whole server. his redemption quest here, what he has to do to break the curse, is to bring a flock of hateful and mocking sheep to the other end of the server list.
charlie slimecicle is semi-based off of qsmp, but i plan to make him a lot more similar to the cscu. charlie was just an average slimey guy, until a sudden code monster attack nearly destroys his town, and he falls to the trap of a code monster, which amalgamates his code. the people shun him for this, and he is kicked out of the server. he attempts to look for other places to stay, trying to blend in, only to be caught and cast away. that is, until he finds saparata herding a flock of sheep, and decides he would try to blend in. of course, as usual, this fails, but this time he isn't outcast. sure, at first saparata swung his sword around like crazy, but he actually gave charlie a chance to explain. they decide to travel together!!! everything is solved!!! yay!!!! ( ...they then meet the rest of the djms gang and it all goes wrong )

and btw these characters aren’t their usual age and are probably a bit younger ( mid teens – early 20s ) and are Definitely a lot younger in specifically the first two photos ( pre-adolescence – early teens ) so yeah. baby faces
xelqua is a patron of the sun, if you couldn't tell, but it's most of the worst qualities. suffocating, blinding, and too much looking at you. it's meant to be very vivid and false human-like, similar to false day-personas and stuff, and it's also meant to look trustable and kind in order to lure unsuspecting users. the upper lip is meant to resemble a bird's crest. the face is actually a mouth opening, similar to a demogorgon ( or whatever it's called ), and his real eyes are on his wings.
the " watchers " are very cultish, powerhigh maniacs that should normally be controlling code, that are instead letting all the chaos happen for their entertainment. they advertised a fun game to decide who would win a spot in the code overseers.
grian was one of the participants in this game, and met a whole lot of new people through this, including scar. grian promised they would stay in contact after the competition. after all the suffering happened, though, grian was just glad to go. the watchers, along with letting him on the team, asked him if he had one wish. xelqua wished for this to never happen again.
a few months later, scott joined the code overseers.
each winner was kept strictly separate, being sent out to mess around in different sectors. this is how xelqua found scar, who actually, for being second place, got promoted to the lesser role of case delivering, taking record of odd messes in code and keeping it archived for the code overseers. xelqua, without his old grian memories, didn't recognise scar, and was confused when scar started getting angry about him not contacting him at all and calling him grian. something about insubordination, something about ex-yaoi, and they both hate each other even more. though, xelqua finds the anger very interesting. he watches over scar, eventually seeing him meet tubbo and soon after, the rest, and watches over their messes, and probably causes some of them too.
the way the rest of the competitions work, actually, is that they make simulated versions of previous players, unless they are players that chose to replay. when they bring the winner on, they normally make them completely separated from their past human counterpart. however, they have been getting lazy recently, and just make sure they don't remember their past.
fun fact : blood is replaced with smoke, like death in minecraft! if you replaced the bodily smoke with blood, death would be a big explosion of blood! if i were to think of the cause, i might say that it's because the blood is made of smoking-hot sun particles, and that would be fun because it would make xelqua a patron of blood, but it wouldn't make much sense minecraft mechanics-wise!
