I have to admit that other than buying merch off of artists at con, and owning a bunch of keychains and badges which I ordered online, I don't really interact much with Djoling fanart outside of my hoard of Steve's. I actually have a few posts about this where I go indepth :') !!! I'm still looking for a Keys vibe but I'll get there one day!!

Steve definitely gets what this song is about, it's about him. And it hits just right, both the lyrics and the music. He'll blast it in the car and have an absolute vibe to it.

'And now I'm ready to go. I'm sick of hanging out and now I'm ready to go. I told you that our friendship couldn't handle much more, and then you went behind my back to settle the score.' Tommy H... Need I explain more. This song always reminds Steve of his decision to break it off with his best friend in highschool. The best decision he has ever made, and it makes him feel real good and proud of himself.

'And so I walk out the door. Your insults don't affect me with my favourite coat on. I know my hair looked good in the bathroom at the bar. Turns out I left my wallet at the bathroom bar.' This line honestly sums up Steve's entire personality. The cockiness, the hair mention, the forgetfulness. I feel like most of Gloom's lyrics are pretty straight forward. And Steve is a pretty straightforward guy. If he was older it'd remind him of his teenage years and how much his life has changed since then. It just makes him feel really good about cleaning up his act the way he did.

'Remove my shirt and tie, I'm ready to go. Undress you with my eyes, I'm ready to go. I measure up to you, I'm ready to go. I smoked my cigarettes, I'm ready to go.' I wish I could write more but again all I hear is Steve, Steve, Steve. His love and confidence for getting with the ladies, the smoking habit he has/used to have in highschool.

'I hate this city, yes, I'm ready to go. I never liked it, I belong on the road.' This line stands out to him because it's the finale of the song and it's the only one he doesn't necessarily resonate with. It makes him think about his future. If living this lifestyle is truly satisfactory for him. And if he shouldn't have found someone to settle down in Hawkins with by now. He starts to ponder these things without feeling pressured or insecure about them.

The title speaks to Kurt right away and he just knows this one is about his special someone.

'New icon, she's alright, no heavy ego games, just inner light.' Whoever Kurt's current obsession is is 100% subject to this song and he relates it back to this person immediately. Kurt's wording can get a little 'odd' and philosophical cuz he's easily overwhelmed and struggles to voice his thoughts and emotions. So when asked about his crush he would totally just call them an icon as well (doing peace signs and all) and slap on something about their soul being special, cuz he wants to seem eloquent and chase clout. Whilst the 'she's alright' part also perfectly downplays the intensity of his feelings for him. Hearing this line is like an epiphany to Kurt. As if Djo looked into his head and just understood better than anyone else.

'You got your friends on your left and your right. I'll hold your bag, got your back 'til the end of the night.' This one speaks to Kurt's tendencies to exclude himself from social situations and rather observe from a distance, regardless of whether the subject of his affections reciprocates or not. Also more commonly known as; creeping.

'You're in a state, but I'll stay here for you. I want your video uh-huh.' Both speaks to Kurt being convinced he's doing a favor by sticking around his crush, as well as his selfish motivations of just wanting to get them on camera... as much as possible.

'This is my testimony, how I feel for you. I'm not one to tell a lie, I felt this from the moment that we met, it's true.' Again, this line is like an epiphany to Kurt. It does a complete 180 from the first line of the song, is very straight forward and could be considered a bit too much depending on how long Kurt has know this person... Or even knows them at all. But to Kurt it just makes sense. Like Djo really understand how he feels and how he wants to voice these feelings.

'If I'm your moon, you're my star.' Would 100% love shouting this part along in a silly voice and probably put it in his bio, his crush tagged.

'We can't be, here we are. (Never gonna happen, never gonna happen)' He doesn't think about this part of the song, even though maybe deep down he also feels that Djo is getting at something that's not too farfetched here.

'Need every bit of you, babe, you know I want your video.' To Kurt it balances out the previous line and wraps up the song perfectly. Cuz at the end of the day he wants what he wants unapologetically, and he just needs to get that footage man.

Kurt doesnt necessarily understand what this song is about, but it sure as hell is a vibe. There are certainly some lines he relates to though! But not necessarily in the way Djo intended them to be. This song just scratches an itch in his brain, both the music and the vocals, and he loves its whimsy and how the lyrics flow, even if it contains alot or criticism for the way Kurt attempts to live his life.

'Gotta swallow that water before the high can drate.' He loves that its whimsical and wordplay.

'Big man, who are you, are you gonna do what they tell you to?' This line speaks to the rebel inside of him and the answer to the question is always no.

'One tear from your eye, rip another lie, let the piggies fly.' Something about this line resonates with Kurt but he can't quite put his finger on it. Subconsciously, it makes him feel understood. Like Djo verbalises how his lying and manipulating habit hides alot of pain and sadness behind it.

'Blow it up, never fail, each cut bigger my little man.' This line gets him hyped for his social media efforts. It's how he imagines his life should be, and it will be some day.

'Is the big life lucky, yeah, is that what you want?' This line always stands out to him, as if it's trying to tell him something but he can't quite figure out what.

'In a way, who's the cuck? If I watch a good thing getting fucked. Washed out glory hole, piss pot feeling like a jelly roll.' It's offensive so he loves to sing it. 100% one of his vocal stims.

-Djune 27th: What game would you like to play with Djo?

Dead by daylight and Fortnite all day man! ... I would say, but hold my controller cuz I had a much better idea when scrolling through your replies earlier!! I was reminded of a particular game that exists, and now it can only be that... I don't know if anyone is familiar with the tabletopgame 'Jungle speed' BUT, for the people close to me (@venorawinters, my @billacookie and @littlebunnybigheartfics), ya'll know I have a certain level of cuteness aggression in me that transcends just getting the zoomies and squishies for something or someone. I will dropkick a man if I have to :') So Jungle speed would be THE perfect game for me to A) See what Joe keery is truly made of, and B) Rough him up a little bit for the purpose of expressing affection in a way that is parasocially acceptable :') Unless I get him hospitalised, that wouldn't be acceptible, maybe never put me, Joe Keery and Jungle speed in the same room, okay?!

I need to confess to a crime since i technically lied for most of Djune. I do know this man, i do know 1 and 1/3 of a song. and while keith will argue that it dont count i think it does :P so i guess i can now answer one question and that is my memory of joe songs :P I Wont mention the song because keith will say it wont count BUT i use to sing it with muy mom in the car when she would drive me to work and that was a good memory!! windows down. singing along! The second song we recently realised keith had been singing to me unknowingly for a few weeks i was at his house. i thought it was a meme. it was a song :P and he also infected my Tikytoky with it soooooo Do i count a djo listener now keith? are you proud of me OwO

-Djune 30th: Why are you a fan of Djo and why do you continue to support him.

Completely honestly, I am a fan of Djo because I am a huge Steve stan, and then Stranger things ended, so my hyperfixation bled out into his entire filmography and discography as a result ^^' Am I ashamed to admit that I'm one of those who just channeled in from Stranger things a little late in life? No, because it's brought me alot of joy and at this point Kurt and Keys have me in a chokehold sometimes stronger than Steve :p I will continue to support him because in his music I found something more than just obsessing over fictional characters. His music is actually really good and reflect alot of his inner self, which resonates with me as well. He is so not afraid to critisize his own mistakes and choices either, and never stops questioning his own motives and morals moving forward. Those are the kinda people I vibe with!

This is super late, but thank you to everyone who participated this year, and I can't wait to see you all next year! My activity will be drastically less over summer now because of how busy work gets for me, but I look forward to seeing ya'll again in Djanuary and hope you wanna stick around to catch a glimpse of my silly blog in the mean time!

-Djune 25th: Have you seen Djo live? If not, are you going to see him in the near future? (Share pics and anecdotes/ hopes and expectations)

I am seeing Djo in August for the first time! He's coming to a festival here in Belgium and honestly I am terrified :') I have agoraphobia so going out so far for maybe a 1 hour performance is actually insane to me, but I'll be brave and do it! I'm still waiting for the schedule to be posted and I sincerely hope he's on during the afternoon, cuz having to travel home afterwards late at night would be such a huge increase in stress too! So far my expectations are fear and despair, it's going to be way too busy and way too many people, but he is worth it! I'm taking @billacookie, the concert babies (our shared plushies we always bring out when we go to live perfomances) and my little Joe Keery baggie with me for emotional support!
