What Does all the DL gangs marks or ownership look like?
Sun doesn't have his mark anymore (had burnt in sigils in his palms)
Moon has a tattoo on his back (maple leaf with a snake)
Foxy and Monty have tattoo as well, but in the left upper arm
Bonnie had a nipple piercing but has been removed
Roxanne had a triangle hole on her ear, but she got tired of it and asked Mangle to make it like it has been chipped in a fight
Chica has triangle emerald diamonds placed in her skull both sides (outside)
Freddy doesn't have a mark since he was originally adopted by Afton himself
Vanny has a Death's-head hawkmoth on her lower back
Mangle doesn't have her mark since that part of her body is now mechanical
Fashion in the Demon World
Now, now, before we start I'd like to make a small introduction.
The four clans, like any ethnic group, have their own customs and criteria on what is fashionable and aesthetically pleasing to their senses.
like everywhere else, the climatic conditions influence a lot their fashion.
the images chosen here are not an accurate depiction of what I'm describing, at all. I prefer to keep it vague and leave it to your imagination :). I simply choose pretty pictures because...because pretty is good.
also, I want to mention that I wrote this headcanon, inspired by @nutaella-kookie 's own headcanons on the demon world. The way she envisions the dl lore is incredibly interesting and I thank her for giving us a piece of her mind on so many topics.
therefore, I will link @nutaella-kookie 's work whenever I use it because we ought to give credit to creators.
that being said, here we go, starting with our long teeth misogynistic bastards <3
the bat (vampire) clan
first of all, I headcanon that vampires have the most connections with the mortal realm. When you arrive in the demon world, you're greeted by its eerie big forest. Its path leads you to two big roads: the road towards the vampire territory and the one guiding you on the winding Vibora lands.
So the vampire clan benefited from the access to textiles from the human world which helped their textile industry to grow extremely fast. In addition to their own resources.
With the abundance and diversity of fabrics, the special access to Vibora's trade routes for jeweller's craft and in the inspiration taken from human fashion through the centuries, led to one thing :
being extra.
leather gloves, lacy corsets, smooth-like silk blouses, goddamn cloaks lined with velvet, all that in those rich, dark shades of blue, burgundy or raven black... They do live in their neo-victorian-dark-fantasy-Hot Topic-aesthetic and they're proud of it.
They appreciate some of the cliché vampire representation. Not all of it, but they do live up to the Volturi aesthetics-
Also, I can imagine that up the time they were alive (physically and psychologically speaking), because of how different their wardrobes and colour palette were, the three wives had drawn attention on their fashion sense.
Some women would be intrigued by Cordelia's scandalous and sensual clothing style, somewhat inspired by her Vibora origins with those heavy jewels and revealing cuts. An antique seductress.
Others would aspire to look like Beatrix. Sweet B. and her mature, aristocratic look. The elderly tend to favour her modesty but we don't ask for their opinion here
Finally Christa and her pale dresses matching her snowy features, the transluscent chiffon of her veils, the roses, the white lilies and the sweet peas, the delicately laced neckline. Purity adored and abused.
the vibora clan
here we have the most open-minded clan.
they believe in the gender neutrality of clothes slay-
Imagine Oberyn Martell from Game of Thrones and the whole aesthetic surrounding the land of Essos.
They're desert people for the most part, contrary to vampires who have a balmier weather, viboras need lighter fabric. The trade with the vampire clan allow them to have all the cotton, linen, taffeta, chambray they need.
As mentioned before, they like revealing cuts, on men and women
Breathable and practical clothes... and an indecent amount of jewellery.
Vibora jewellers are the best at their craft in the entire demon world. It's indisputable. Thus, the Vibora fashion is essential made of seductive cuts, organza veils and gilded body chains.
How do you recognise a vibora? By ear.
with the golden chains, the long diamond earrings, the delicate bracelets embedded in emeralds, garnets or amethysts, it all glides smoothly on the silk of their clothes, making them hiss softly as they slide next to you.
We could imagine the snake has an important place in their fashion but they don't like to overuse it. Instead, they display some references in the colours, or in their collars, made of jewels, reminescent of the head of a cobra.
the adler clan
Adler's tailors are one of the best in the demon world.
They may be pompous ass but god they look good.
Dignified posture, straight, clean cuts and always dressed according to the sky's colours.
Their clothes are obviously adapted to their wings, made so that the fabric would not tear at the first wing flap. It is breathable, practical, solid, form-fitting, light, protective, and super elegant. With fine embroidery details, vests lined with silver, collars not too tight but that do not let the wind enter and possibly inflate the tunic.
Dude, they do dominate the game.
They wear boots and closed shoes most of the time because you don't want them to fall mid-flight.
But that is on their day-to-day fashion.
During festivities, they do keep the clean and lean silhouettes but they indulge in more eccentricity with accents of gold and silver, gilded feathers, and thinly shaped gems on women's clothes. They also who show more of their back, their nape, and their shoulders.
But no matter the situation, they need to be able to fly.
So like Edna said: no capes.
the wolf clan
last but not least: Shin's true family nah c'mon, let's leave him alone for a bit.
war outfits.
As stated by @nutaella-kookie , they live in the west part of the demon world, in very flat lands, suffering from the harsh weather conditions (suffocating summers but stupidly humid and cold winters) and because of their military defeats, their wealth and resources are now...lacking. To give an example: the poorest Adler citizen is probably wealthier than the most powerful wolf of the pack.
When living in plateaus, boots are a must-have.
They became experts in tanning and they could sell their leather at a very good price if the vampires didn't replace them on the market with their products and the leathers from the human world.
They also have good furriers whose products are quite demanded in the Adler mountains.
The wolves need warm, strong and fire-proof fabrics (as they hate fires).
The silhouettes are generally loose-fitting; tunic shirts and pants inspired by the Russian rubakha.
They wear an overcoat inspired either by the Mongolian deel or by the (Russian) kaftan, worn with a large sash made of leather. At least, they have at their disposition a variety of pigments to dye their clothes according to their classes.
The King/Queen and their mate are the only ones allowed to wear precious materials (ironically, they prefer silver to gold.) Otherwise, the other wolves wear bronze or brass.
Even in celebrations or for reunions between the four clans, the Wolf clan will always appear in a martial outfit. The meeting could be peaceful, they want to look prepared to fight, no matter what. They don't trust anyone anymore.
Have a nice day folks

How do you think Ayato will act towards his s/o who is a virgin? What do you think he will say?
I will answer this ask in general.
Basically, Ayato and all the diaboys in a nutshell don't give a damn about virgins, ya know? Like they don't care if their s/o is a virgin as long as their s/o is theirs. It's basically saying "I got it, so it's mine. Doesn't matter who touched it."
HOWEVER!
Ofc we have a however. I personally think one diaboy who would give a damn abt this concept... and yes, it would def be Subaru. Like that guy's been dealing with a lot of stuff abt his mom losing her virginity and being used by Karl for his incestuous plan that turned into a massive sht of failure.
I don't think he will be crazy abt his s/o being a virgin tho; but I think his pursuit of innocence and sht will make things go awry. trust me, a lot of guys have this crazy stint of pursuing a woman bcos of their innocence like as if that's their whole character.
And there's a high possibility that if Subaru finds out his s/o is not as innocent as they are, he can go through a plethora of overthinking. Like there's a lot of things that can happen, from mild acceptance to violent and gruesome sht. You think it won't? They will. Subaru is violent, ya know.
But anon that's just me. After all, there can be a plot twist of Subaru accepting his s/o is not as "innocent" as before or he will not give a damn in the first place.
(ps. if you're talking abt vampire perspective, I would kinda get it if they would prefer virgins bcos they view humans as food and from a perspective of the "eater", you don't want your food touched by filthy sht)
First Blood historical headcanons
"But we are the First Bloods,
Dark and beautiful and undead,
We have forever roamed these lands,
And founded a world before which all bend."
Okay so, I have a hot take here. I argue that the First Bloods aren't actually the very first of demon kind, those would be the chaotic and unruly beasts that roam the depths of Makai, sent there straight from hell itself.
The First Bloods are the first intelligent type of the demon. The first that learned how to use magic, communicate and go beyond the previously impossible to traverse borders that seperated them from the mainlands of Makai.
As the first intelligent beings to find their way to these fertile, vast lands, they wandered and observed and studied it at first, wonderous as young children would be.
Gradually, they grew stronger, smarter, and more capable. And once they had seen all of what this world had to offer, they settled in the middle regions, which would later become the prime territories of the Demon World, and started building their cities and walls.
At first, small in numbers and less egotistical than they are remembered as now, they were open to letting Ghouls that had grown sentient work alongside them. These Ghouls who'd stayed in the Makai for longer had some experience with regional benefits and detriments that were useful to the First Bloods.
But they weren't kind to them, no. They never treated the Ghouls as "their own" and viewed themselves as the benevolent ones for even letting them mingle among themselves.
These minglings of First Bloods and intelligent Ghouls later led to the birth of the four subspecies, but that is a story for another day.
A few members of these First Bloods who were leading all the efforts and were more powerful began to establish a system of rulership that would have them and their families at the top.
These people who would go down in the history of the First Bloods as the Great Ancestors are as follows:
Malahtan Tsukinami, the Dark Uniter, the first head of House Tsukinami, and the King of Makai and the First Bloods. A cruel but cunning man who united his people and led them to establish their great empire. He conquered the prime lands in the middle of the realm, and placed himself and his line at the head of this empire.
Ulrich Lunagust, the Master of Gold, and the first head of House Lunagust. He was the first among the First Bloods to show interest in the minerals of the lands and his house would go on to create the very first forms of currency and own mines of different sorts all across the lands.
Johannes Sanguine, the Diplomat and the first head of House Sanguine. He was the person who aided Malahtan closely and was essential to the establishment of the empire. He bargained with the Ghouls for their knowledge and workforce and was deeply interested in the research of the world they had landed in. He and his house would store the true, unfiltered history of the Demon World and keep secrets to cultivating ancient magic for themselves in eons to come.
Lucienne Bonnerell, the Crimson Witch and the woman who'd go on to establish the loose House of Bonnerell in the far South East of the Realm, later known as the Blood Witches. She helped build the kingdom with the persuasion of Johannes, but she did not join the empire's machinery due to major disagreements with Malahtan Tsukinami, who was seated atop the throne they were building.
The three main First Blood factions, in the beginning, held power within the realm regardless of the Tsukinamis at the top. But overtime, only House Sanguine could maintain seperate importance to the Demon World.
House Lunagust held power still, but as the four subraces appeared and began to build currencies and mines of their own, the importance and preciousness of First Blood currency became more and more reliant on the crown's stability, leading the House to become more and more dependent on the throne.
House Bonnerell eventually fully removed itself from First Blood territory and established its own faction of land in the South East. They still had deep-rooted ties to House Sanguine, who kept records of their rituals and research, but the more modern Demon Society now only knows them as the Blood Witches as they freely mingled with other kinds, even humans.
Every generation of House Tsukinami grew more influence over the world than the last, and the prospering Kings and people became blind-sighted to their shortcomings and flaws.
They begun to view themselves as superior to the four subraces, who were deformed in First Blood standards as they couldn't shift shape to all the main demonic forms.
And so will go on the legacy of the First Bloods. This was only the establishment of this realm. There is more to come.
Mermaid headcanons in Diabolik lovers
(The following headcanons are exclusive to my personal lore since, so far, there aren’t a lot of canon information from the games for races and clãs other than vampires, founders and ghouls.)
Just like the main four clãs (bat, snake, eagle and wolf) are born from the founders, mermaids were born from the vibora clan;
They can use magic, but are not as powerful as the other races;
They can have familiars in the form of different sea creatures of their choice;
Mermaids can shapeshift into humans at will;
They are more vulnerable to fire and need to need to keep themselves hydrated, drinking more water on a daily basis than a human normally needs;
Their singing can cause hallucinations, illusions and hypnosis;
They can manipulate the water and it’s temperature, being able to cause small storms with the proper training and skill;
Their power increases with the full moon;
Mermaids feed on human flesh, but can eat human food without issues;
They are not immortal, but can live considerably longer than humans due to the high resistance of their bodies;
In their regular form, mermaids have two rows of sharp teeth and are able to extend their jaws out of their mouths for bigger bites, much like many species of sharks;
They are cold blooded creatures;
Their blood is copper based, giving it a blue color;
Mermaid tears contain healing properties;
