My third D&D character, Leif. He’s a Vampyr, (half human half vampire) who’s a Phantom Rouge Criminal. Mental/ physical age, 24. Chronological age, 54. He’s a little shit, kinda feral and masks trauma with humour. He’s also very morally grey.
His name means “dearly loved” cuz his parents were saps and loved him so much. And that just makes it all the more sad cuz they died for him thanks to his fuck ups. After they died he was enslaved (age 15) by the vampires that killed his dad (mom died when he was 5). The youngest of the 3 noble vampires, Isa, pretended that she turned him into her Thrall to save his life but her older siblings were sadistic and hateful and abused Leif constantly. Aka he’s has a fuck ton of trauma. Then when Isa got old enough to make more of her own decisions without her older siblings permission, she released Leif. But dudes a loyal dog and comes back to visit Isa every now and then.
His backstory was supposed to just involve his parents dying but then our DM wanted all our characters to have their own npc “demon”. So he was like “Have Isa :D” so a slave Leif became lol
