Within the Hoard
The mirror that was quite large was made for that very reason- to bring the loot back and forth for Brymscythe himself into this pocket dimension he called his lair. And while his life was no more, there was anew keeper to the treasures. The closest thing he had was a child not of his own. She was a human, but she showed such potential when it comes to magic . And that is exactly what happened here. She grew to the point where she could awaken the wards that would keep her out. Of course her “father” didn’t leave everything out in the open. The old Blue dragon had his plan…seal away different parts so that she had to work to access everything. Brymscythe did try to protect her after all and thus giving her incentive to get better. What more inspiration could a dragon hope for!? Granted, the child wasn’t dragon at all…just imprinted on by one. Given part of his power to draw down the heavens in a stormy rage. She was always going to be naturally gifted- he just took it a step further is all. And so in this icy cavern was a number of relics and treasures. All sorted through so that the art was separated from the rest, then the weapons, the armor, gems, and jewelry, chalices and dinner trays all of high standards. And mountains…upon mountains…of gold. Brymscythe had been very busy in his years of infiltrating Emon it would seem. And that mirror was put in place by his daughter herself. Over the years since joining Evenstar University, Maeve had taken a particular interest in the idea of pocket dimensions because of this very place. She wanted to understand her frozen sanctuary. Unfortunately, it didn't occur to her that her mirror could be accessed by anyone beyond this realm. She had the understanding that it it was for her only. Then again, because the doorway was forged by Brymscythe then perhaps he had his own little escape plan on other planes of existence. Perhaps those planes had their spells that tied them back to here. The room was massive- a frozen cavern deep that seemed to fit deep within a glacier covered mountain. With two levels, there also appeared to be areas still in repair- from the death of the dragon no doubt and those who took him down. There is also a desk and several bookshelves for sorting books, grimrois, scrolls and the link with a catalog being in the works for tracking them as well as various potions and tinctures. The center of the room is fairly clear, having a diameter of roughly forty feet of smooth frozen earth.
