It says something that both The Turtles, Dogpound, and The Footclan were horrified by Mutatgen Man. To be honest the Krang even warned Shredder messing with Mutagen was a bad idea with how unstable it is...which they're proven right and the fact they are actaully shocked with how Shredder treats his lackeys.

ik we collectively characterize roman as the most overtly loving / holding capacity for love, and i may not want to necessarily dispel that notion, and also doubly understand the roysā love as collectively obfuscated and malformed in some way, but i donāt think someone whose constant affliction is a vulnerability to loving would push his brother at his birthday or ignore his pregnant sister abt electing a fascist or flounder @ the unadulterated nature of kendallās breakdown, love takes care and empathy and selflessness and roman is none of those things, heās obsequious and aimless and destructive, and heās beholden to the biggest dog in the room. roman wants what heās told he canāt have and when he gets it heās already paranoid of losing it, so he destroys it himself. roman hungers and he blows things up as to hurt himself bc heās plagued by an insurmountable imposter syndrome ā heās a dog after all, and a mutt may rely on its owner but that says nothing of its love, and it very well may love, but that says nothing of its propensity to bite.
