Can I ask you all for a biiiig favor? My friend and I started an organization called You Are Loved Dolls. (Will you follow us @yaldolls?) Here’s what we do: We have a team of wonderful volunteers who hand make the most amazing dolls. We send the finished dolls to the wonderful team at RAICES (@raicestexas), who have been amazing to us, and they distribute the dolls to the traumatized children that are being unfairly detained at the border. RAICES is helping these children and so are our dolls. Many of these babies have gone through horrific circumstances, been separated from their families, neglected and/or abused, and so much more. Plus they are away from everything they’ve ever known. These dolls are really helping them feel like they are safe, loved & cared about.
