It's kinda funny when I look at the two fandoms I'm primarily in, and how different they are.
Tsams/tlaes is FUCKING TOXIC. And I only see a little of that because I've specifically built a cozy corner.
But like, the fans? Toxic to the creators, and each other. The voice actors? Have their work cut out for them. Discord? Death to people with any form of opinion. The people who FUCKING RUN THE SHOW? RL FAZBARE. and that is NOT FUCKING GOOD THING!!!!!! I can ONLY Enjoy the fandom, though my Tumblr corner, and fanfics. Tlaes is the only reason I'm still using YouTube.
And a lot of people are ASS'S ON THE SHIPPING.
Oh, you ship those two? Well I don't like that, so go kys(a average anti-pro shipper anon)
And the writing is going to shit.
but then I'm also in Dolly's factory, and the only downside is that Roblox is a fuck up. And the sheer positivity of that fandom is more than enough to keep me from deleting the app.
Tumbler community? Beautifully sweet. Roblox? Before the talking cures, pretty clean. Discord? HELL YEAH, EVERYONE THERE IS MY BUDDY!! Ao3? Surprisingly, still sfw and sweet. And it's surprisingly holsome on YouTube so far.
And THE CREATORS ARE AWESOME PEOPLE THAT DESERVE ALL THE LOVE AND RESPECT THE TSBC ARE EXPECTING.
We love the devs, love Dolly's factory makers, and mods. They need to be protected in my eyes. They are my hope for humanity.
And the writing is awesome.
And everyone is basically shipper pro, or respectfully kind about it.
