Cat-calling; don't do it!

I don't really do this very often, but I think this is an appropriate time to do so considering all the media coverage on it at the moment and from my experience this morning! While I've been at college, there have numerous occasions of guys passing by that have said comments and such towards me..which I totally understand, because my friends and I always talk about an attractice guy that we've just seen; it's normal. However, it's NOT acceptable for a group of guys going past me (regardless of whether they're driving in a car or just walking) to shout disgusting "compliments" to me while I'm minding my own business and walking home by myself on a Sunday morning or any other time of the week. I don't care if you think you're complimenting me or if you just want to look cool in front of your friends; quite frankly, all you're accomplishing through cat-calling is being an obnoxious asshole (pardon my french). If you ACTUALLY want to compliment me, say "you look nice today", rather than "damn girl, you look sexy as hell" and so on and so forth. All I want is for guys like these to act like decent human beings...is that too much to ask for?
