These two are gonna be fascinating.
This is the meanest special episode of all time. Absolutely cruel. They're just a little out of character but I'll still take it. I missed them so much.
I need to be clear about how much I love them.
The rich CEO who thinks he can buy everything and the photographer who has never given less of a shit and doesn't care about impressing you except with his work.
And this, my friends, is why we try communication before we take action in a romantic relationship. Oh, these men. Pond so tired of being a secret because he's caught love and Don so worried about their appearance in the business world that he cannot imagine it.
Don is so scared of being judged, of being taken as unprofessional, of having people look down on him or on Pond that he would rather hide this relationship or even lose Pond than risk that for either of them.
But especially because, frankly, Pond just isn't that type of professional.
Oh, the heartbreak. Pond isn't willing to be a secret but Don isn't ready for the world to know (and he doesn't have the right answers because there are no right answers, not truly.)
I love these two. They are a messy and beautiful gift.
The artsy photographer and the strict CEO? Huh.
They are gonna be interesting.
Don's mental Pond is destroying me. He's his voice of reason, he's tenderness, he's patience, he's the one Don loves even as he sits on this date to try to get over him. It's absolutely beautiful. Heartbreaking. This man is sitting here imagining the man he's trying to get over walking him through this date. Ugh. I love it here.
Don trying to show that Pond isn't the only one who can change or even the one who needs to change? My entire heart.
They're just so precious together. I love how they talk to each other and actually reach conclusions and they both change and they both take responsibility for their choices and for their love... ugh, I am so sad this is just a rewriting of what actually happened. Open weeping.
Pond and Don literally talking about how sometimes you have to change for the person you love and learning to value what they value and to live in the life that matters to them? It's so beautiful. Absolutely lovely. Pond is offering to change and learn and Don also works to tell him that he doesn't need to become a new person either. I love them so much. I miss them. I wish the show had done them justice and not... this.
