RESPAWN! DROP TITANFALL 3 NEWS... AND MY LIFE... IS YOURS.
I'm obsessed with the fact that Grace's homecoming dress is sleeveless. I know it's probably Nothing but the only other time she isn't fully covered is when she's literally in the bathtub. She probably thinks that showing that much skin is Scandalous and part of her temptation. She's practically showing her shoulders!!!
I like to mentally cast people I know in shows I like, and with the licensing available for Nerdy Prudes Must Die, there's this performer who I can't unsee as Max Jagerman.
But the funny thing about it is that very recently he played Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar, so that adds some extra humor to lines such as:
"I'm only one man's girl, Max, and his name is Jesus Christ. I suggest you get acquainted with him before you end up roasting on a fiery spit in Hell." Or "I love...Jesus!" Or "I used to have a crush on another guy who rose from the grave, but Jesus couldn't throw a football like you Max." (and more)
I love that Grace isn't in either Cool as I Think I Am OR Go Go Nighthawks.
She's already the coolest, most righteous girl in school and after Max is gone, her life is pretty much unchanged and she never really knew the extent of his reign of terror
Reading bits of the Bible and suddenly quotes from Jesus Christ Superstar make more sense
If I had a nickel for every time a teen male character in Hatchetfield says "cross my heart, hope to die" before dying in the first act (and reappearing as an evil supernatural entity later on), I would have two nickels
Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice
It tickles me so much that Grace "'Grace just be cool' 'NEVER!'" Chasity tells everyone else to stay cool/be cool/be cool beans
