A Trip to the Land of Oz

This place has so many amazing buildings. Emerald City and the roads are so faithfully recreated. that said, there isn't whole lot to actually do here. though these giant flowers are pretty cool. never messaged around with them before

We're going to Gorgon for a trip this weekend. The world runs smoothly overall, but ehhhhh it has a really bizarre bug. If you're considering using it as a vacation destination, take a look at the details below first⬇️

Generally, when traveling to a custom world without a base camp, you'll be prompted to pick a house (just like in university) with no rent required. This world is the same, but if you look closely you'll notice the family funds in the bottom-left corner have plummeted to only 10k, and your family name has changed to "The Loner". That's the guy⬇️

At this point, you can't travel back to the home world and your only choice is to quit and reload the save. If you're like me and didn't notice anything was wrong at first, you'll be stuck vacationing with just 10k. Worse yet, even after the vacation ends, things won't revert to normal back home. In other words, the moment you entered this world, your identity was overwritten by "The Loner."

I'm not sure if this happens in other worlds, but my guess is the creator used the Isla Paradiso as a base and something went wrong during the process. However, if you use it as a primary home world to buy a house, it works fine🤷‍♂️

So that's the deal with this bug. our 400k+ family funds vanished overnight, leaving us with only four digits🥲thankfully our daily household income reaching 10k, we'll earn it all back in no time, but all i actually want to say is:

whenever i explored underwater caves, my sims kept getting reset to the surface. only just found out that simply resetting the cave with debugenabler fixes it😅
