So I have been going through some horrible art block for the past week, not in the sense that I’m out of ideas, but in the sense that I just have ideas but my hand just isn’t delivering like usual when I sit down to draw…yknow? (I’m hoping its just the stress of finals week, I’m so over this semester)
So in the spirit of that, heres a sketchdump composed of both old-ish and new-ish drawings that ended up being somewhat incomplete because I either wasn’t fully satisfied with with it and gave up, or I just lost motivation
1)Melanie getting ready for her wedding. This was actually supposed to be the first part of a 2 piece set. The “sequel” drawing was suppose to parallel this one in reference the boudoir scene in the ride. However the second part is probably never gonna see the light of day because I gave up on the first part (hence the lack of rendering and detail. I just kept getting frustrated with the proportions and I just lost motivation.
2) Hair down Constance (because…yes). This one’s actually pretty ok for what it is but again, I kept getting frustrated cause whatever reason the exact vision I had just wasn’t transfering on paper so yeah.
3) Separate Sketches of Gracey and Leota. Not bad I just drew these when I had no sense of direction and was just mindlessly doodling, never bothered to finish them.
4) Sally and Dorian cause I ship them. I admittedly really like this one! Its just that it was meant to be a full body drawing of the two and I just never got back to it. Still cute tho.
in other news. i did in fact go to Disneyland Paris while in Europe
Last Night was an interesting evening. Elizabeth and I got a little too tipsy, and one thing led to another and we got arrested for public indecency. Dorian bailed us out shortly after. Sincerely, Edward Gracey
