connie was told her mother was holly blue agate. other people have used this gem as blue diamonds alias and i think its cute i always liked how blue holly looked and just went with it

pink and blue have swapped places in the hierarchy so shes on equal footing with yellow now. yellow and white are largely unchanged

I have a personal question for Priyanka. After Stevonnie left your building did you got upset at Doug for getting too close to Stevonnie's personal space and nearly touching their gem?

What did Doug say after they left?

This was originally something I thought about putting into the comic at the time, but I felt like I just couldn't quite get the writing good enough.

Still don't think I got it quite right here but I did my best.

Three families, coming together for a delightful dinner experience!

Oh boy the Dinner Shack's cover got away from me for a few days but I somehow pulled it together in record time and I think it turned out as fun as this chapter itself is. Keep in mind that this is the last almost purely "fun" chapter of UF we'll see for a while before what I like to call the Seven Chapter Angst Storm kicks in ^_^ So enjoy the levity while it lasts because oh boy that storm's a comin

And here’s Steven and Connie! Surprise! In this AU Connie is the daughter of Blue Diamond and Doug Maheswaran. She still goes to school and loves learning, but it’s definitely a challenge to balance that with all of this gem stuff! She doesn’t need glasses, but wore them anyways because she thought it would help her fit in better. Meanwhile, Steven is still Greg’s kid and is “homeschooled.” Or perhaps “vanschooled” would be a better term. Can you guess who his mom is?

Connie and Steven met in much the same way as they did in cannon. One of the things Connie liked the most about Steven was that he didn’t seem to think the giant gem in her chest was weird.

Doug married Priyanka not long after Steven and Connie met, so Connie essentially has four moms, but her life isn’t nearly as strict as canon Connie’s.
