Pokémon Trainer's Jazper and Willoe. Teammates and travel buddies. Both began their journey in Sinnoh and have been traveling since.
Somewhere early in their adventures, they became pokémon socializers (aka-pokémon rehab trainers, as I like to call it.) Taking on pokémon who may live in and around highly populated areas only to not trust humans for whatever reasons (be abuse or etc...)
Zap (our Jolteon here) for example has trouble dealing with public displays of affection ranging from romantic to platonic. Weither it's directed to her or someone else. She will ruin the moment if it's too... what's the word... touchy-fealy? (Eh, that'll do.)
