This is Dr. Skeller. My first progenitor dragon, who is based on my plague doctor/necromancer oc of the same name. He’ll cure what ails you, and if he can’t, well... there’s always Plan B.

Skeller is quite guarded on the outside, but cares very much for his patients and has a good heart... and a dark secret or two.

(He does have both wings which I wouldn’t normally mention for this kind of ref but he is already gnarly looking in his normal form so I wanted it to be clear they’re both there lol)

Excuse my rat face and silly hair, I just wanted to show that I have straps on the boy now and padding on the inside. Next will be the hood- I’m a bit nervous, as I was the last time I did this with my werewolf, but I also have better knowledge of the process now, so hopefully it’ll all turn out alright.

Not sure about the color of the teeth. I started off painting them how I usually do, white with a brown wash but something is telling me to take them in a greyer direction. I haven’t painted them yet, here, but something tells me if they aren’t quite dark they’ll overpower the rest of the piece.

I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Ugh I can’t wait to finally get to work on this thing. I’m having to remake his claws also because they keep falling off… I’m so picky, I just need my shit to be sturdy rofl.
