Okay so I finally got around to writing this! Yay me 🎉 anyway, like all other drabbles in this game, it’s mainly inspired by the quote. This time, however, I was pretty close at including the actual prompt. more yay me 😂
Prompt 9: “You can’t banish me! This is my bed too!”
Louis pulled the blanket back and sat down, only to immediately get back up and mutter, “For fuck’s sake.”
He turned around and glared at the bed and the invisible crumbs that Harry had left there. In quick, flicking movements, he began brushing off the crumbs in the bed.
“What’re you doing?”
Louis looked over his shoulder and saw Harry walking over, a hand inside his pants, scratching the skin.
“What do you think I’m doing?” Louis said snappily. “Someone has been eating in bed. Again. Leaving crumbs all over the fucking bed.” He glared at Harry. “How many times do I have to tell you? Don’t eat in bed.”
“It’s not a big deal.”
“Not a big deal?” Louis scoffed, continuing to brush the crumbs off. They were never ending; each time he ran his hand over the sheet, he felt new ones. “I hate crumbs in the bed, I have told you that a thousand times. Yet you still –” he ran his hand over the sheet with such force it made his hand tingle with a burning sensation “– eat stuff in bed. I’m seriously considering making you sleep on the sofa until you’ve learned.”
“What? You can’t, you can’t just banish me from my own bed.” He pointed at the bed. “That is my bed too.”
Louis straightened up and leveled Harry with a stare. “Then I suggest we have separate bedrooms.”
Harry let out an incredulous laugh, exclaiming, “What? You can’t be serious.”
“I am.”
“Seriously? Louis, we’re married.”
“Doesn’t mean we have to share bed.”
“That’s exactly what it means.”
“Not all married couples share a bed, Harry. I bet if we talked to a couples counselor, they would say that if sharing a bed puts a strain on our relationship, it’d be better if we didn’t.”
“Yeah, I’m sure they would. But we don’t need counseling, we’re in a good place.”
“Except we argue about the crumbs on the bed all the time,” Louis countered.
“Give me a chance to get better before you make a final decision.”
“I’ve given you hundreds of chances.”
“Not with this ultimatum.”
“Will it make a difference?”
“It might,” Harry said, sounding unusually confident.
‘picking them up’ hugs // for Freddie during his more toned/stronger era he likes to show off and pick up his friends when he gets excited ❤️🥰
Thank you for the request, dear @emmaandorlando ! It was so much fun to write! 🥰
-----‐--------------------------------
It's not the first time that Brian notices how Freddie has become significantly buffer in the last few years.
Of course, the singer claims he hasn't started working out, with exercises like lifting weights apparently being quite boring to him, but the width of his shoulders tells a different story to Brian.
It's not that he's jealous, not at all, it's just that he's wondering what exactly Freddie's secret is.
"Roggie, what are you trying to do?", Freddie asks Roger, as he squeezes past him in the tiny kitchen of the recording studio in Munich.
"I'm trying...to reach that...damn bottle of Schnaps...up there!", Roger curses, getting on his tiptoes again and trying to reach the slightly dusty bottle of German Schnaps. After a successful day of finally finishing "Back Chat" without bashing each other's heads in, they have decided that some celebration is in order.
A grin appeares on Freddie's features and Brian, who is standing close by, sipping some tea and watching the hubbub, shoots him a warning glance.
He can tell that the singer is having another one of his risky ideas.
Freddie, who is quite unbothered by Brian's scolding gaze, grabs Roger around the middle.
"Hang on...hang on, darling, I'll..."
And with those words he lifts Roger up, who begins to howl with laughter.
"Woahhh Fred...", he chuckles, "Careful! Careful mate!"
Within a few seconds, he has reached the bottle of Schnaps.
"There you go, dearie!", Freddie says as he let his friend down again, grinning and seeming quite pleased with himself.
"Mate, you're a beast!", Roger hollers ,"Bri, did you see that? Fred lifted me up as if I were a feather!"
Brian's gaze meets his friend's and Freddie strikes a pose, flexing the muscles in his arms to show them off to Brian.
"Look at that bicep, man!", Roger praises, feeling Freddie's arm.
And Brian really has to admit, the muscles his friend is sporting are quite impressive.
"Deaks, you adorable little man, come here!", Freddie laughs as John leaves the recording booth after thirty minutes of hard work on an exceptionall tricky baseline.
He grabs John as if he were to go in for a hug and lifts him up by the back of his thighs, high enough for John's arms to start flayling around, while he giggles, all swinty eyes and tooth-gap.
Freddie squeezes him like a teddy bear and has John going a little flustered over it.
"Fred! Freddie! Please...have mercy...", he chuckles, almost hitting his head on the lampshade.
"Sorry, sorry, Deaks.", Freddie apologizes for his previous euphoria and sets his friend back on his feet.
"That's alright...s'alright, Fred!", John laughs and claps Freddie's strong shoulder, which looks quite good in the sleeveless shirt the singer is wearing.
The next day, Brian has just made his first cup of tea of the day, when he walks back out of the kitchen, balancing the full mug in his hands, and trips on the doorstep.
The tea spills onto the carpet floor but before Brian can land on there nose first as well, two strong arms catch him.
He blinks, slowly, and looks up into a pair of big brown eyes and Freddie's smiling face.
"Oh Brimi, careful! Don't fall!", he says with a soft smile, warmth in his gaze.
"Fred, thanks for...thanks for catching me!", Brian says, sounding quite a bit breathless, blushing slightly from the strange half-hug Freddie is holding him in.
"No worries, dearie! I'll catch you any time!", Freddie says with a wink as he helps him up.
As the singer rushes off to the kitchen to get a rag to mop up the spilled tea with, Brian lingers in the hallway, wondering.
The feeling of the singer's strong arms has really been quite...something!
He really must ask Freddie for his secret workout routine!

You give Donghyuck a thumbs up, and your best friend grins at you before settling back in the worn out couch of your shared apartment. That couch is probably older than both of you because it used to belong to Johnny who lived in this exact same apartment before he graduated and before that, it belonged to the tenant who lived here before Johnny. So basically, the couch is a relic, and you have to keep the tradition of passing it on.
That, and you and Donghyuck are two completely broke college students who can’t afford new furniture.
He presses play, and the show begins. You lean over and curl into his side as he easily slips his arm around you. Donghyuck is always a loud (read: whining) advocate for physical affection, and over time, he’s worn you down and you begrudgingly accept that you too might enjoy cuddling (and it’s not just because you might have a tiny crush on your best friend).
Wrapped under a fleece blanket, the two of you are on your fourth episode when there’s a loud knock at your front door. You groan, leaning over to pick up the remote and lower the tv volume. “Let’s just pretend we’re not home.”
“Hyuck! Y/N! I know you’re in there, I can hear Zuko.” The all too familiar, annoying voice of none other than your neighbor across the hall can be heard. In fact, you’re pretty sure anyone within a five mile radius can identify his voice if the loud, obnoxious noises coming from Apartment 4B every night have been keeping them up as well. You honestly feel so bad for his very nice roommate, Jeno.
“Oh my god, can we just not open the door?” You groan, snuggling deeper into your blanket cocoon, and Donghyuck chuckles, patting your head affectionately as he gets up to answer the door.
“Gotta be nice, Y/N.”
“Since when are you ever nice?” You grumble, and Donghyuck throws you a dirty look before flinging the door open.
Jaemin’s face brightens up before realizing it’s not the person he was hoping to see. “Ah, hi, Donghyuck. Mind if I use your shower? The water in our apartment doesn’t work right now.”
“Just use the shower in the gym downstairs,” you call out, sulking in your spot.
“Sure.” Your best friend shrugs, ignoring your betrayed expression, and lets the other boy in. “Second door to your left down the hall.”
“Got it, thanks.” Jaemin strides over to the bathroom before pausing when he sees you on the couch in your pajamas, which consists of an oversized sweater and shorts. “You look cute, Y/N. But you’d be even cuter sitting across from me for a dinner date at Nobu tonight.”
“No thanks,” you say shortly before wrapping yourself even more into your blanket and turning towards the television, signaling the end of the conversation. Undeterred, he chuckles before disappearing into the bathroom.
Donghyuck returns to his spot on the couch, and you lean your head against his shoulder again. He glances over at you with a small smile. “Isn’t that my sweater?”
“Maybe.”
He laughs, poking your cheek. “So are all my missing sweaters in your closet?”
You grab his hand to stop him from poking you any more and fail to notice him gulp when he realizes that the two of you are inadvertently holding hands now. “I plead the fifth.”
“O-okay, whatever,” he lamely responds before turning to watch the show again, another smile creeping up on his face when he sees that you still haven’t let go of his hand.
Halfway through the episode, Jaemin emerges from the bathroom. “Hey, I hope you don’t mind, but I used your shampoo.”
The biting remark on the tip of your tongue dissipates when you look over at him, eyes widening. Shirtless and gray sweatpants hanging low on his hips, he gives you a smirk, running his hand through his hair, still wet. You almost forget to breathe. Dear god, that boy may make you want to tear your hair out, but he is so stupidly hot, and it isn’t fair at all. After all, you are only human, and you are feeling weak.
“Sorry, I forgot to bring a clean shirt. Hope you don’t mind that either.”
Mind short circuiting, you can barely think of a coherent reply, and Donghyuck presses his lips into a frown when he notices your response, or lack thereof.
“No biggie, you can take my shirt.” He pulls off his shirt and chucks it at Jaemin’s head before standing up to usher the other boy out. “Anyway, we’re kinda busy now so if you don’t mind leaving, that’d be super great.”
You’re gawking at Donghyuck now, mouth open in disbelief at what he just did and also at how toned your best friend is. Woah. The last time you saw him with his shirt off was two years ago at Renjun’s pool party. His daily gym sessions with Jaehyun are definitely paying off.
Jaemin struggles to remove the cloth from his face as your best friend steers him towards the door. “Wait, can I use your shower again tomorrow? The maintenance dude isn’t coming until Friday.”
“Like Y/N said, there’s a shower in the gym downstairs. Use that.”
“H-hold on, what about your shirt? When can I return it? Will you be here later, Y/N?” Jaemin calls over Donghyuck’s shoulder, desperately trying to stay in view of you.
“Keep it.”
With that, Donghyuck firmly shuts the door in his face and turns towards you. Your jaw is still on the floor, and he belatedly realizes that he is currently flashing you.
“Uh, I’m just— I’m gonna... go get another shirt,” he stammers, the lightest hue of pink now dusting across his cheeks and the tips of his ears. He darts into his bedroom as you try to process what the hell just happened.
“Hyuck?” You finally call out, and you hear an incoherent noise in response from your best friend. “You gave Jaemin your favorite shirt.”
“... Damn it!”
send me a summary of a fic you wish I would write! — [!] CLOSED [!]
Pairing: Jeon Jungkook (BTS) x GN!Reader; Genre: Fantasy, Superhero AU, Anime AU, Angst, Fluff, Romance, Humour; Rating: sfw, PG-13; Warnings: mentions of monsters, exhaustion, a magical animal, mentions of nudity, a vague description of a monster, Jungkook getting slightly hurt, a fight (not too descriptive), Yoongi being Yoongi, curse words, one suggestive sentence at the end; Wordcount: 5.185; Prompt: It weren’t real prompts but @guktro had three questions after the first part. 1. who gave JK his powers? 2. Can Y/N get powers and protect JK? and lastly 3. Can JK transform in front of Yoongi? And here we are with a second installment of Sailor Kook!
Summary: Rumours about monster attacks spread through the town and become the most discussed topic - even within your friend group. When you get attacked one night you didn’t expect your saviour to be someone you know.
“I can’t believe you hung up on me!” Taehyung said and dropped into the same booth you occupied. “How could you?”
The situation felt almost like a deja vu but when you looked up you saw Taehyung’s accusatory stare directed towards you.
“What? When? I’d never hang up on you!”
“The other night? When I thought you were abducted by monsters but you just got off work later than usual?”
Your eyes widened in shock, remembering this particular night due to a completely different reason. Now that Taehyung actually mentioned it, you do remember that he had called you and that you were, in fact, talking with him on the phone. With the events of that night you had totally forgotten about the call and that some static interrupted it. Furthermore you totally forgot to call him back, your mind had been occupied with a few other things.
“Oh my god, I’m so sorry”, you apologised profusely, quickly grabbing Taehyung’s hand to show him how sincere you were. “I honestly don’t know what happened but there was static and the call got cut off and I got spooked and I totally forgot to check my phone again when I reached the safety of my apartment. I really am sorry and I swear I would never hang up on you. Promise!”
Taehyung squinted his eyes at you for a moment before he relaxed and grinned again. “I knew there was a logical reason behind it! See Yoongi, even I can be logical!”
“The logical reason would have been that Y/N finally got annoyed by all your monster talk as well.”
“Hey!” Both you and Taehyung protested loudly.
Yoongi just shrugged with his shoulders, turning his attention back to his phone.
“Since we’re already talking about it”, Hoseok interrupted and drew the attention towards himself, “have you noticed the cases of monster sightings are increasing? It has nearly tripled since the last time we spoke about it.”
“Oh yeah, I noticed that too.”
You saw Jin nodding in agreement to Jimin’s statement before he shoved another fry down his mouth.
“It is actually a quite normal phenomenon”, Namjoon interjects, “now that people have spoken up about their experience of being possessed by a monster and being heard by the public others will speak up as well. Either because they finally gained the courage to do so or because they are attention seekers and just claim to have been possessed by a monster because they think it’s fun to say something like that.”
“So a lot of those sightings are false?”
Namjoon shrugged with his shoulders to answer Taehyung’s question.
“Normally only two to eight percent of the claims are false”, Yoongi piped up again, showing he was listening to the whole conversation after all, “but we already had this discussion that these people are either making those monster up, trick their mind into believing there are monsters or try to hide their own guilt by creating these monsters.”
“Great, now both of them have to flex on us with their studies.”
You couldn’t help yourself but to snort at Jimin’s sarcastic comment.
“It’s not flexing, you could contribute to this argument as well.”
“Tae could make a picture out of macaronis portraying that monster or how about Hoseok dances to us how he feels about those incidents. That would be such a good contribution to our discussion.” Jimin sneered.
“I could create a new dish that got inspired by monster attacks,” Jin added with a laugh.
“All of this does sound wonderful, don’t you think..”, you stopped trying to ease the bickering, when you saw Jungkook stumbling into the diner.
You immediately jumped up and basically crawled over the laps of Jimin and Taehyung, ignoring their confused looks, when you ran up to Jungkook. Your fingers instantly grabbed his hoodie while your eyes worriedly scanned his face. “Are you alright?” You saw the dark circles under his eyes and his slightly hunched form. “You look exhausted!”
Jungkook rubbed both of his hands over your upper arms, trying to reassure you. “I’m fine, just tired.” He leaned down and rested his head on your shoulder, sighing tiredly.
“Because of those attacks?” You whispered and your hands clasped around the fabric of his hoodie even harder. “Maybe you should tone it down.”
He hummed lowly, swaying slightly in front of you. “And let someone innocent be attacked because I didn’t react to a call? I can’t let this happen.”
“But what about you? You’re someone innocent too and you are suffering.”
“I’m not suffering, I’m just tired. It’s going to be okay.”
Your jaw tensed, wanting to argue against it, but at the same time you knew Jungkook wouldn’t listen and stay as stubborn as ever. “Fine, then let's get something to eat.”
Jungkook shook his head, telling you he just wanted to sit with his friends. He straightened again and removed your hands from his hoodie before he walked over to the booth and plopped down on an empty chair.
Not even ten minutes passed before Jungkook groaned in annoyance and shot you a pleading glance.
You knew he received a call for help, even though you still didn’t completely understand how it worked. Jungkook had started to rely on you, since the evening you found out. “Hey, Jungkook, how is your assignment you told me about coming along? Made any progress?” You sighed, giving him an excuse to jump up and mumble something about not having started it at all. “You should get your stuff and come to my apartment later.” You told him before he rushed off.
You watched his retreating form, your eyes trained on the spot even after you lost sight of him. Another sigh left your lips and you excused yourself as well. You barely registered the worried glances and goodbyes from your friends, your mind already occupied with searching for a solution to help Jungkook.
Later that day Jungkook crashed at your place. Literally. This time he stumbled through your balcony door and collided with your dresser, getting your attention.
You rushed into your room, seeing Jungkook kneeling on the floor with one hand pressed against his head. You cursed under your breath and helped him up and walked him to your couch in the living room.
Once he fell on it, you removed the simple looking kabuki mask, which you forced Jungkook to wear, from his face, brushing a few strands of his hair away. “Try to rest a little, okay? I’ll get some food and clothes from your place”, you whispered, already pulling a blanket over his body. “I’ll be back as quickly as possible.”
Jungkook hummed in exhaustion, his eyes already fluttering shut. “Thanks Y/N.”
You smiled and got up, getting a glass of water for him that you placed on the table in front of the couch, before you left your apartment.
Jungkook didn’t live too far away from you and you had a spare key, which he gave to you after he locked himself out once, making it easier for you to enter his place. His apartment wasn’t that different from yours, less personal decorations and more stuff laying on the floor but it still felt somewhat home-y.
Searching for a backpack you stumbled upon a bunny, sitting on his bed and staring at you intently. “I didn’t know Jungkook got a bunny”, you mumbled, feeling slightly uncomfortable from its unnerving gaze. You looked around, hoping to see some sort of cage where it escaped from but you came up empty handed. “That’s odd.”
You observed the animal for a while, noticing that it somehow behaved strangely by not moving at all. For a second you even thought, it may have been a very realistic stuffed toy, if it weren’t for its blinking eyes.
“What am I supposed to do with you?” You questioned loudly, sighing in despair because you couldn’t just leave and let the bunny run around. “Okay, you know what? Stay there and let me pack some clothes before I find something to transport you with.”
You turned away from the bunny and started pulling drawers open and stuffed random clothes into the backpack in your hand. “I can’t believe he’s got a pet without taking the proper precautions”, you grumbled while you started a list in your mind with things you’d need to take care of a bunny. “How is he supposed to take care of a bunny when he’s basically knocked out after fighting those monsters?”
“You know about his secret identity?”
At the sudden voice you jumped and dropped the backpack, turning around and searching for the person it belonged to.
The second you had turned around the bunny floated over to you. “So you must be Y/N.”
You blinked a few times, pressing your whole body against the closet behind you. Bunnies weren’t supposed to float, you thought, staring at it with wide eyes. And they weren’t supposed to speak. “Uhm, yeah”, you stated dumbfoundedly, while your mind tried to comprehend everything.
“He didn’t tell you about me.” The bunny sighed and shook its little head. “I’m the one who gifted Jungkook his powers.”
“Huh.”
Seeing your blank expression the bunny continued to talk. “I’m the bunny on the moon. And every night I saw the cruelty that became of the world. I saw those monsters roaming freely and destroying everything I loved to watch over. So I decided to intervene and when I stepped on earth I met Jungkook. I saw his strength and pure heart and I just knew he was the right choice to protect this city.”
“And you just gave him the powers.”
“Yes.”
“You know he is currently overworking himself?”
“Yes.”
“Are you at least thinking about doing something about it?”
“Yes.”
“Good! So? What’s your plan?” You asked and resumed packing the backpack. A flying bunny wasn’t the scariest you had witnessed and your mind settled with the fact the legend of the bunny on the moon was true fairly quickly.
“I’m granting you power as well,” the bunny said and floated in front of your face again to see your reaction.
“I’m not strong.”
“You’re witty.”
You stopped in your motions, your eyes trailing back to the bunny. You knew nothing about this power and even less about the monsters you were supposed to fight once you accepted them. “I don’t know”, you whispered, avoiding looking at the animal. “I can’t just jump on this and say ‘yeah let’s do this’. Can I think about it?”
To your surprise it nodded its head. “Should you change your mind”, the bunny handed over a small stone to you, “just press this against your heart and say ‘I’ll accept these powers granted to me’.”
Hesitantly you reached your hand over and accepted the stone, turning it in your fingers while staring at it. You looked back up to the floating bunny. “Can I contact you if I have questions about all this? Like discussing the terms and conditions?”
The bunny snorted but agreed once more. “Just whisper ‘bunny on the moon’ and I’ll hear you.”
You nodded, mumbling the words once more to make sure you wouldn’t forget them.
Before you could say anything else, though, a little poof resounded through the room and a cloud of glowing green dust dispersed where the bunny had been floating just seconds ago.
“Can this get any more crazy?” You mumbled, looking at the small stone in your palm once more.
When you got back to your apartment, Jungkook hadn’t moved at all, still sleeping soundly on your couch. Seeing his squished cheek and hearing the light snores you decided there and then to keep your encounter with his little mentor a secret, not wanting to worry him.
Instead you made something to eat and woke him up once you were ready. “Scoot over, Kookie, and eat something.” You placed the two plates on the table and waited patiently until Jungkook changed into a seated position, groggily rubbing his eyes.
“How long have I slept?” His voice was husky from sleep.
“Not long, sorry,” you apologised and sat next to him, “you can go back to sleep after you ate something though.” With that you pressed one plate into his hands and motioned for him to eat. Only after he grabbed his chopsticks and started to stuff his cheeks with the food, you began to eat as well.
You silently watched him out of the corner of your eye, taking in every detail. His half lidded eyes, because he still fought against his sleepiness; the dark circles under them from the lack of sleep he must have gotten the past days; his tousled hair and how he nearly fell asleep again while chewing his food.
His eyes fell on the kabuki mask on the table in front of him before they slowly wandered down his body, noticing he still got his magical clothes on.
“I brought you some stuff, if you want to get changed.” You nodded towards the backpack. “You can freshen up in the bathroom while I clean the dishes.”
Jungkook nodded slowly and got up, grabbing the backpack and padding towards your bathroom.
You sighed silently and bit down on the inside of your cheek. You wanted to help him but you feared you’d only stand in his way should you receive the powers. Instead you hoped you could help him as some sort of assistant, easing everything for him behind the scenes.
It became normal for Jungkook to crash at your place since then. He never brought his clothes back to his apartment but claimed a small part of your closet where he placed his stuff.
Almost every night Jungkook crashed at your place, changed and dropped on your couch, with or without you on it. Though he preferred to have you there as well, using your thighs as his pillow and drifting into a deep slumber while your fingers played with his hair.
On days Jungkook wasn’t as exhausted he played games on his phone, lying in the same position he would be when he wanted to sleep, while you researched stuff to help him, still playing with his hair absentmindedly.
“Jungkook? How do you usually fight against those monsters? I remember you said something the night you saved me.”
“Hmm, punch them first.” His tongue peeked out of the corner of his lips in concentration. “And then shoot a ball of magic power to destroy them.”
“What if you can’t use the power for some reason?”
“Doesn’t happen.”
“What if it does?”
“It won’t.”
You grumbled quietly and shifted your gaze from your phone to Jungkook, who was still completely absorbed in his game. But instead of arguing further with him, you just came up with a new question. “How does your power work anyway? Do you have like a list of commands you just learned by heart or is there some sort of other trick?”
Jungkook paused his game and tilted his head to look at you. “There are basically just three commands, I think.”
“You think?”
“Yeah, the one to activate the powers, the one to deactivate them again and one to use the powers.”
“And what exactly are the powers?” You made quotation marks with your hands when you repeated his term and raised an eyebrow in question, feeling still slightly sceptical towards it.
“Powers to defeat the monsters.”
“Duh.” You rolled your eyes. “What I meant was, uh, do you just say that command and balls of magic shoot out of your hands or is there something more?”
Jungkook grinned cheekily. “Are you worried about me?”
You smacked his forehead without too much force behind it and narrowed your eyes. “Of course I am! I don’t want anything happening to you.”
“Nothing will happen to me”, he grins widely, “you’re having my back. You made this kabuki mask and created this voice changer for me and I got this magical power that could do anything I can imagine. So everything is totally fine.”
“If you say so.”
“Don’t worry, Y/N. Despite what you’re thinking, I am careful. In the end I do want to come home to you.”
You stiffened and stared at Jungkook in shock, though he already continued to play his game, oblivious to the effect his words had on you. Despite him being more at your place than his own, you never thought he’d view it as his home. Especially not with you in it. Though you had to admit you did miss him on the rare days he didn’t visit. By now it was already normal for him to sleep over at your place.
If you remembered correctly the first week he still used to sleep on the couch but so much time had passed since then and now whenever you got ready for your bed Jungkook just tagged along, continuing the nap from the couch in your bed.
“Do you still have some snacks, Y/N?”
Jungkook’s question brought you out of your thoughts and you needed a few seconds to actually register what he said. “No,” you shook your head, “you ate them all.”
“Can we get some?”
“We! Yeah, because I won’t walk to the convenience store on my own in the middle of the night.”
“Great!” Jungkook jumped up excitedly, already stuffing his phone in the pocket of his sweatpants.
Only minutes later the both of you walked down the street side by side.
“I think we should get some cup noodles as well.” Jungkook thought out loud and grabbed your hand, intertwining your fingers.
You tried to fight off the warmth spreading through your body from this simple touch but you couldn’t stop the slight tingling within yourself. “If you could, you’d add kimchi, sushi and lamb skewers on that list.”
Jungkook laughed loudly and agreed with you, making you giggle in amusement. “We could get popcorn and watch a movie.” Continuing the walk to the store his thoughts changed to deciding on a fitting movie the both of you could watch.
You smiled and listened to his suggestions, humming every now and then when he explained his choice. When you turned the corner into an alley you looked ahead again, remembering what happened the last time you walked through an alley. That’s when you noticed someone walking a little ahead of you.
“Hey isn’t that Yoongi?”
“I think so”, you agreed with Jungkook’s question, who had scanned the alley too, before walking further into it. “Hey! Yoongi!” You screamed loudly but didn’t get a reaction from the man.
“Five bucks, he’s listening to music again!”
“Of course he is, I won’t even argue against it.” You laughed and pulled out your phone, deciding to call him this way.
Not even one ring later and he accepted the call, raising his phone to his ear. “Y/N? Are… alright?... middle.. night.. wrong?”
You frowned and quickly checked the reception. “That’s odd”, you whispered and placed your phone back to your ear. “Yoongi? I can’t hear you! Something is off with your phone!”
Jungkook watched you worriedly, rubbing his thumb over your knuckles as an attempt to calm you.
“Yoongi? Just turn around, okay? We’re right behind you!” You looked up again and froze, eyes widening in fear. “Jungkook?”
Immediately Jungkook turned around and tensed up as well. “Shit.”
At the end of the alley a huge deformed creature crawled out of the shadows. Smoke wafted around its form and a slimy liquid dripped on the ground from something that you thought to be its mouth.
“YOONGI! RUN!” You screamed at the top of your lungs, staring in horror when your friend looked up in confusion, seeing the both of you standing at the entrance of the alley and then turning to see the creature. “RUN!”
“I need to help him.” Jungkook tried to let go of your hand but you gripped his arm and yanked him forcefully back.
“You can’t!”
“I have to! It’s what I’m supposed to do!”
“This is different!” You pleaded with him, your eyes flickering between Jungkook’s deadly expression and Yoongi running away from the monster.
“Y/N,” Jungkook cupped your face and forced you to look at him, “get Yoongi and run home!”
“What about you?”
“I’ll kick this monster’s ass and be right behind you.” His gaze softened for a second. “I promise.” With that reassurement he kissed you. But as quick as he initiated the kiss as quickly he pulled away from you again.
The cold Jungkook left behind crept through your whole body, worsening your fear. Helplessly you watched him slip out of your reach and run off. You heard him say the command for the transformation, followed by the blinding light enveloping his body before you saw the red jacket fly behind him.
Yoongi reached you, grabbed your arm and pulled you behind a container, pressing both of you close against the cold metal. “I’m not that knowledgeable”, he panted and a shiver ran through his body, “but did Jungkook just do a magical girl transformation?”
“Yeah.”
“And apparently those monster attacks were real.”
“Yeah.”
“Fuck. And you’re not surprised,” Yoongi stated, scanning your face quickly.
“Yeah.”
“Not that surprising since you’re together but why didn’t you correct Namjoon or me when you knew?”
“Really?” You deadpanned and looked at Yoongi pointedly. “Would you really have believed me? Both of you would have brushed it off just like Taehyung.”
“But Taehyung never saw a monster.”
“What does it matter? You didn’t even believe the people claiming to be attacked by a monster!” You argued back.
“Okay, fine. I was wrong,” Yoongi grumbled and leaned around the container, watching Jungkook fight against that thing. “Are you sure I am not just hallucinating this right now?”
“Yeah.”
“Fuck. I can’t believe Jungkook is fighting that thing.”
“Sailor Kook.”
“Sailor Kook?” Yoongi raised an eyebrow and looked back at you, before his gaze flickered back to the alley.
“His hero name,” you stated, before you tensed up again. “Hey! What do you mean it’s not surprising since we’re together?”
“Aren’t you a couple?”
“No, we’re not!”
“Then why did he kiss you?”
You felt the heat creep up your cheeks, while you stuttered some sort of argument against it.
“Is this really the time to argue with me whether you’re a couple or not?”
“Okay, fine. I won’t say no, if he’d ask me! But he didn’t for now!” You clarified and glared at Yoongi, who only watched you with an amused smirk playing on his lips.
“He really did a magical girl transformation, huh?”
“Yeah.” You finally turned around as well and peeked around the corner, seeing Jungkook shooting one ball of magical power after the other, without any use.
“This doesn’t look good”, Yoongi stated worriedly. “Who even gave him the power?”
“Bunny on the moon”, you whispered as an answer while your eyes were trained on Jungkook, who dodged an attack from the beast.
Before you knew it a little green cloud exploded in front of your eyes, making you and Yoongi cough slightly.
“Finally ready to talk about the terms and conditions?” The voice of the bunny teased you, floating once again right in front of your face. Though it turned around, seeing Jungkook fight, before you even had the chance to answer it. “Ah, it’s not about the terms and conditions.”
“There’s a floating rabbit.” Yoongi stared blankly at the animal before his head turned to you. “And you’re not surprised again”, he stated matter of factly. “Why do I even ask?”
You ignored him and turned your attention back to the bunny. “How can he defeat this thing?”
It contemplated your question, weighing his head from side to side. “Not without help.” The rabbit clapped with its paws and the little stone, which you had carefully placed in a jewellery box at home, appeared in front of you.
“If I accept, what do I even do? I know nothing about this!” You cried, trepidation clawing at your insides. Your gaze flickered once again to Jungkook.
“You know more than you think.”
The creature slammed its arm against Jungkook’s body and smashed him against a wall. You watched him stagger slightly before he shot the monster again.
You cursed and grabbed the stone, holding it over your heart with closed eyes. “I will accept this power granted to me!”
The stone liquified in your hand and snaked its way around your wrist, turning into a simple stone bracelet. That was the minute you felt the prickling underneath your skin, spreading from your chest and all over your body; from the crown of your head to the tip of your toes, engulfing you whole. When you opened your eyes again, you saw the same blinding colourful glow emanating from your skin, which you had seen on Jungkook before.
For a second you worried about being naked within this light before your costume would manifest but the thought vanished quickly when you felt fabric covering your skin.
Once the transformation ended you stood next to Yoongi and glanced down at your body. You had indeed different clothes on than before and you still felt this spark in your fingertips, wiggling them around to get a feeling for it.
“Shouldn’t your transformation end in some hero pose?”
“If you want a magical girl pose after a transformation, become a magical girl yourself, smartass,” you snapped and pushed against Yoongi’s shoulder, though you couldn’t suppress the giggle escaping your lips from the hilarity of seeing Yoongi as a magical girl warrior.
“Nah, I think I'll stick with law studies.” He grinned as well. “Which reminds me. Try to avoid vandalism while fighting the monster.”
“Really? That’s what you’re worried about?”
“You don’t want a lawsuit. That is worse than this monster, believe me.”
“Gosh, Yoongi, sometimes.. ugh.” You groaned and turned towards the bunny instead. “Keep an eye on him!” With that you ran towards Jungkook, who just got thrown on the ground.
Panic filled your thoughts and you picked up the pace, before you skittered to a halt in front of his body.
“Y/N?”
You didn’t have the time to answer him, seeing the monster trying to attack you guys again. “Shit, shit, shit.” You needed some sort of shield, but there was nothing in your grasp. You cursed again, when the monster lifted its arm ready to pound down on you, and stretched your arms forward, screaming. “With the power given to me!”
You flinched slightly when you heard the loud thud, before you realised the punch didn’t hit you. Hesitantly, you peeled your eyes open again, not remembering when you even closed them, and instantly noticed the magical shield hovering over you and Jungkook. “Are you alright?” You breathed out and glanced over your shoulder, seeing Jungkook getting back on his knees.
“Thanks to you, yeah.” He scooted closer to you, stabilising your arms before the monster threw another hit against the shield.
“Any idea how to defeat this thing?”
“Do you trust me?”
“As much as I want to deny that, I do trust you.”
“Good! After the next punch you have to retract the shield and combine your power with mine,” Jungkook told you, supporting you from behind. “You need to visualise a huge ball of energy with me and once I give you the signal we push it towards that monster.”
You nodded while you continuously chanted his instructions in your mind, trying to reassure yourself. Your eyes flickered from the monster towering over the both of you to your hands and Jungkook’s bigger ones evenly outstretched right next to them. You unconsciously leaned into his chest, searching for his warmth to calm you.
“We got this.”
Again you just nodded and tried to breathe evenly.
When the monster punched against the shield you felt your whole body tremble from the force. At the same time the monster staggered backwards.
Jungkook immediately grabbed your wrists and pulled them away from the shield, dissolving it with the movement. “Okay now the energy ball!” He placed his hands once again next to you, holding them as if he carried something round.
You copied him quickly and pictured a huge globe filled with flowing energy.
“With the power given to us!”
You closed your eyes and concentrated on the vision as well as every movement Jungkook made. Without even looking you followed his motions, feeling the ball growing larger with every breath you took.
“Now!” Jungkook screamed and pushed forward. As soon as the magical orb was out of your control, he grabbed your body and spinned you around, pressing you close against his chest.
You felt the impact more than you heard it, since it vibrated violently through the air. You grabbed onto Jungkook’s button up, scared of letting him go without knowing what was going on.
Yoongi watched the monster literally imploding before it vanished in a cloud of smoke. “Is it dead?” He glanced towards the rabbit on his shoulder.
“Definitely is.”
“Good.” He walked out of his hideout and hurried to you and Jungkook. “Guys, you made it! It’s over!”
You looked up with wide eyes before you leaned to one side and glanced behind Jungkook, seeing Yoongi was in fact right. A huge smile spread on your lips. “We made it.”
“Told you so.” Jungkook grinned and stood up, pulling you with him, while he kept his arms around you and still held you close to his chest. “We’re a good team.”
“Absolutely!”
“We should send a warning to all monsters, trying to overtake our town,” Jungkook added cockily, “Prepare for trouble!”
“And make it double!” You added with a laugh.
“Oh please god no!”
Both you and Jungkook turned to Yoongi, seeing his annoyed expression.
“Okay, fine. No warning then.” You smiled hesitantly. “We’re still a team though.”
“The best,” Jungkook whispered and grabbed your chin, tilting your head up. With his free hand he took off your mask before he pulled his own off as well. “Thanks for saving me.” He leaned down and kissed you.
“The power of love”, said the bunny and nodded while it watched you.
“Not to interrupt your little moment there but I really need a drink, right about now.” Yoongi coughed awkwardly and rubbed one hand over his face. “What about you, guys?”
“Actually, that doesn’t sound so bad”, you agreed with a soft smile, “I think I still have some alcohol at my place.”
“Then it’s settled. We’re having a drink.”
Yoongi turned around and walked into the direction of your apartment, the bunny still sitting on his shoulder.
You chuckled slightly and wanted to follow them, when Jungkook held you back. You looked up at him with innocent eyes, waiting for him to speak up.
Jungkook watched Yoongi walk a little further before he leaned down with a smirk and whispered into your ear. “Just so you know, once they’re gone I want to see your magical girl transformation.”

i will fully admit that this is quite a bit selfish because i’m definitely using it to better be able to handle everything else being... wild. but i’m glad that my coping mechanism has been enjoyable for other people!!
also damn sunshine you’re so good at picking exactly the prompts i’ve been wanting to write??? i’ve literally been thinking about how i wanted to write an amnesia au from the POV of the person that has amnesia???
18. waking up with amnesia au
When Jaskier woke up, he could tell that something was wrong. It wasn’t uncommon for him to wake up in a bed he didn’t quite recognize with someone else. It was a bit more common than even he’d like to admit for him to wake up with someone else that he didn’t recognize anymore. Usually, though, that bed partner he didn’t recognize didn’t hover over him as he awoke, as if checking for damages.
“Um, hello?” Jaskier said, as amber eyes examined him quite thoroughly.
“Jaskier, you’re okay,” the man said, relieved.
His hands then took over exploring Jaskier’s body the same way his eyes had, and Jaskier stiffened a little. Jaskier didn’t mind being manhandled a little, he enjoyed it actually, but he much preferred to be asked. Or, at the very least, flirted with. Though he had often woken after falling into bed with someone without much of a memory of the previous night’s activities, Jaskier was sure he would remember this man. The man looked like he had stamina, and Jaskier was sure if they’d had a romp, he would both remember it and feel a touch more sore.
“Yes, yes, I’m fine,” Jaskier insisted, pushing the roaming hands away. “Have we met?”
The man snatched his hands away as if they were on fire. Good. The way his eyes widened in concern, maybe even fear, but not annoyance, however, was not good. Fear didn't’ seem like an emotion that belonged in this man’s eyes, and not only because he was built like a horse and riddled with scars. Something about it just seemed wrong.
“You don’t remember me?” he asked, unsure, and leaned back on the bed. At least he was no longer hovering. Jaskier took that moment to push himself back to lean against the wall behind him. “What’s the last thing you remember?”
“Well,” Jaskier started confidently, the picture in his mind clear as day. “I was walking through the forest. With… someone.” That was strange, a moment ago their facade had been so clear. Now all Jaskier could picture was flashes of white. He shook his head and moved on. “I was going to a castle. No… a tower? A cottage? Some sort of… building…” he trailed off again, the memory growing more and more fuzzy. Jaskier rubbed his forehead and closed his eyes. Now, he could only picture the trees. Where had he been going? Who was he with? “I don’t… I can’t. I don’t know. Everything is… a bit vague, now.”
The man swore and shot up, rifling through a bag for something. Jaskier just tried to remember what he had last been doing, but found the memory getting farther and farther away.

“What do you do for a living?” Yennefer asked.
When Yennefer had shown up, just jumping out of a portal as if she owned the place, Jaskier had groused, only for the man--Geralt, has he had now been told--to say he had called her. Well. Hard to complain about a sorceress turning up unannounced when she had, indeed, been invited. Yennefer, he remembered, and he would have been quite happy to not have her see the aftermath of a drunken night gone wrong. Though, why the devil was he not hungover?
“I’m a bard, obviously!” Jaskier began confidently, grinning at the man--Geralt--as he was the only one who didn’t know this information. “I sing songs about the… the great…” His brain took on that hazy edge again, and he was starting to develop a headache from it. “Oh, bollocks. Not a very good bard if I can’t even remember what I sing about.”
Yennefer hummed a little, and, really, these people were going to have to stop doing that. Geralt’s eyes were wild as he looked at Yennefer, but Yennefer kept staring seriously at Jaskier.
“How did you and I meet?” Yennefer asked, and Jaskier sighed.
“You saved me from dying. And then threatened to make me a eunuch. And then you and… No, I don’t remember where I was going with that. But thank you for bringing up that particular memory. I’d quite like to hop off that trail.” Jaskier crossed his arms. Despite his joking--though he wasn’t exactly joking, he really didn’t like to remember how he had met Yennefer, it was a stressful ordeal all around--Jaskier felt a growing sense of dread. Something was very, very wrong, he just didn’t know what.
Yennefer finally turned to Geralt. “You said he was hit with a mage’s spell?” she asked.
Geralt nodded. “I almost had her. Then Jaskier got too close and she noticed him. I yelled at him to get away and she turned her attention on him, saying something about really hurting me, more than any weapon could do, and said something too quick in Elder. He went down, she portalled away, and he didn’t wake up until this morning.” His voice sounded thick and his arms were tightly crossed on his chest. His face was pinched and Jaskier felt the sudden desire to smooth away the harsh lines. That was stupid, though.
“She took away his memories of you,” Yennefer said.
“She did what?” Jaskier asked, his eyebrows shooting up. So he did know this man? Well, shit, this was a mess.
“You can start the memory, but as soon as it involves Geralt, the details are erased. She has erased his existence.” Yennefer even looked apologetic, though it was definitely aimed at Geralt. Shouldn’t her sympathies be directed at the person who actually lost their memory?
“Fuck,” Geralt said, running a hand through his hair. Jaskier couldn’t help but agree. “What do we do?”
