it’s been a hot second since I talked about dragon dancing LET’S GO LADSSS
-one of those people who isn’t actually very good at dancing but is so enthusiastic and confident about it that she looks good anyway
-Also loves dragging her friends into dancing with her, has yet to fail to get them to dance
-Her and Qibli are dance buddies! I like to hc that Rainwing and Sandwing dances have some similar movements to them (Mostly in the swaying and wing movements), so the two of them will mess around together
-Not a bad dancer! He’s got that combination of actually knowing how to move his body to the beat and being enthusiastic about it so it actually looks good
-Only problem is he only knows like 4 moves
-Sways and nods his head along to the beat and melody a lot (if you subscribe to adhd/autistic Qibli hcs, this is also a stim of his). It kind of ends up on the extreme side, he ends up looking like a dizzy cobra
-Also mouths along to the lyrics and pretends to be drumming, he’s a one man show
-If you dance along with him he gets like 50 times better, a really good dance partner who absolutely does spins and dips
-Really shy dancer, her favorite dance is stepping around and sort of,, unfolding and refolding her wings
-It’s,, technically a dance, right? It’s to music, doesn’t that make it a dance? Is there a better way to do it?
-Thankfully Kinkajou is there to teach her how to, y’know, have a good time, and she ends up really enjoying herself when she dances, it’s not the most professional or impressive but that really doesn’t matter
-When she thinks no one’s looking, she’ll hum her own melody and dance as she moves around their cave at JMA.
-He’s one of those people who’s like, bizarrely graceful when he’s not trying, with these elegant steps and head arches when he’s just walking down to get food
-All of this immediately falls apart when he actually reaches a dance floor
-It’s not his fault all he knows is stiff Icewing waltzes! Here he can teach you, no- that’s not right, you have to step like tha- no nevermind, this was a waste of time
-Peril laughs at him for sitting out on the sidelines and then immediately nearly kills three people with an enthusiastic hip-bump that’s still off-beat somehow
-Goes for those slow, swaying style dances but he makes it look at least somewhat soulful (the rest of the time it just looks like he has indigestion)
-Has somehow managed to overthink dancing to the point where he’s too busy worrying to actually have fun
-unconsciously mimics what other people are doing when he dances
-Ends up sitting out with Winter half the time
-absolutely a hazard, who let her dance (she insists its other dragon’s faults for not getting reasonably out of her way)
-Big expressive movements! Flaps her wings around, actually sings along with the music (including instrument sounds)
-Her and Clay often end up together and they’re actually really sweet together as dance partners
-I like to think she probably used to listen and dance along to a lot of the music from Queen Scarlet’s parties in her fireproof den, part of why she’s such an absolutely wild dancer (she also just enjoys it and moving her body).
-Would definitely “know” the Charleston and do it at every opportunity
