Hello! Recently I got accepted to PNCA for animation and I was wondering if you are liking your experience there. Are the professors/classes good? Do they do a lot of career stuff to help you get internships/jobs? How are the facilities? Any comments would be great!! (I thinks it's better to hear from students over the faculty) Thank you! :) Keep making the amazing art!
I quite like my experience at PNCA. We have all the equipment we could ever need and the professors are great: I just wish that there were more of them!
The classes are great and Rose Bond, the dept. head is very interested in getting people work after school. PNCA as a whole does not require people to get internships, but the school is small and intimate enough that you can get noticed and appeal to professors for professional help which is what you really want. I’m in my last year here and I have faculty in both the animation and illustration departments helping me find scholarships, grants, and internships. You do have to advocate for yourself to make these relationships happen, but that’s good professional practice anyway.
I hope that answered your question, and Welcome to PNCA!
