     “Elsa?”, Anna knocked softly on the door to her sister’s study, waiting for a brief moment for any sort of answer. “I was wondering...well...you don’t have to or anything, I mean I probably already know what you’re going to say but, well...it’s such a nice day out today and I was thinking, you know, maybe we can have lunch in the garden?” The princess paused again, stepping away from the door to examine it, hoping it would crack open and she would actually get to see her sister for a change. “You..you won’t have to make anything. I’ve got it all taken care of. Well kinda, Gerda helped me so I promise it doesn’t taste horrible. Just....what do you think? Elsa?”

            Guy looked at the fallen tree that had barely hit the stranger, who seemed to be frightened. Belt found a long log, as Guy took out some flint and dry grass, the two making a fire with Belt holding the log for him. This was the first time he’s actually meeting another person, his company mostly only have been Belt. Soon, the area they were in filled with an orange glow, as he blew the small spark and it grew to life in a large burst of fire on the torch.

              “Ta-da! It’ll be alright, not many creatures hunt during the night.” Belt smiled and nodded in confirmation of the information. Plus, he’s positive Guy wouldn’t let anything happen to the girl if a beast did try to attack.

“ JUST peachy .” his answer is short. testy. a glimpse of who he was. the dmitry that was left behind. is this what heartbreak feels like ? true blue heartbreak. couldn’t fee it when he lost his mother, only babe when she died. had felt a form of it when his father died. did loosing her cause him to backtrack ? hands slid through dark hair. “ thanks for asking .”

   ‘ oh, what would y’ know ? ‘ response is shot back almost inmediately , tone sharp ; unpleasant . different from the one she’s been sporting since she arrived in this land . the rainbow tour. a trip over the world ; meant for her to build an amiable relationship with other countries . but she grows weary , tired ; irritable . she misses her job ; her people . her workers. she wasn’t built for this . she wasn’t built to mix with royals , and people who would side-eye her every movement & manner . ‘ you’ve been fed with a silver spoon from the moment you were born . i don’t expect you to understand , your highness . ‘

     “You may want to take a step back. Her Highness has been known to have... questionable aim.” There’s a hint of smile, a chuckle ghosting at the edge of his lips, but his warning isn’t any less true. He’s witnessed weeks of archery practice, weeks of dodging arrows and extinguishing fires — the coronation ceremony could easily end with an injury. While he would love to invest his full confidence in Princess Mia and the few times he’s helped her, he would also love to leave the ceremony as uninjured as he arrived, so he’s making sure to put a good distance between himself and the target.
