Dead Hair I let it hang My locs are a reflection of me How can an Alive being bear the burden of dead hair ------ It's Yin & Yang Take a seat because I'm about to make you think 💭 --- Death is Life- note We don't fear death; we fear time but that's another class session- Dreadlocks are active connections- [Footnote because language is confining yet Beautiful & I love it- laymans terms Dread has a negative connotation so Locs is the term preferred] So again these Locs. Again reminded - Death is Life So how can something that's dead also give birth? Energy can not be created nor destroyed only transferred- second note These locs that swang' with grace Are a reflection of Energy. As they grow the connection strengthens To you it's just hair- But for me? I feel the spirit of my locs I've learned to appreciate that connection and conversation These Locs are a testament of commitment- Don't get me wrong. Have I been frustrated with them ? Of Course It's not picture perfect but it's beautiful nonetheless We seek Connection- & These Locs are a Connection like no other. You may think I'm writing this but I'm just the pen- These Locs speak for themselves They are an undeniable force. 1 Year 6 months since I embraced this connection ✨
