sdakgfsjhd this is only my smaller thoughts on it cause I’m nothing if not wordy but !!! aaaAAAH YA !!! I had so much fun cause the pjo series has always been really important to me and seeing it recreated in a way that is true to the story ( reminder: there are no pjo movies ) is so nice considering how worried everyone was about it. the actors were also perfect picks and the voices were amazing which added to the fun. the musical also included a lot of smaller references ??? like the dam joke and gave spotlight to side characters that, with all the newer books, tend to be forgotten ( Clarisse, Luke, Thalia, etc ). tbh my friend asked why I wasn’t doing 19 different headcanons --- one for each song --- and I was like... listen..... I might just... pls don’t encourage me cause I could probly write a 15 page paper on the prologue song alone let alone the development we see in Son of Poseidon or the insight into Percy’s character we see in Good Kid. gdi then there’s the Campfire Song which speaks a lot to the demigod mentality and the Oracle which rly shows the whole ostracism thing which thANK YOU @ GOD TBH it’s about time thats shown clearer ( we don’t just see this with Percy, happens to Clarisse and Luke, too ) don’t mind me I just rly rly love Percy Jackson whoops
I want to mention @dualias! Their Hide is my favorite in this fandom, and I'm incredibly glad they've stuck around despite Hide not showing up in the manga for ages.
Mun is also sweet and a good laugh. They brighten up my dash with their content!

I think his knee-jerk inclination would be to tell his past self to just… avoid the things that lead to him becoming a vampire? Like “Stay in school, don’t get involved in bloodplay with strangers.”, because he is pretty… fundamentally unhappy as a vampire? Like he doesn’t want to live forever, and have to drink blood, and be constantly lethargic, and abandon people who are like family to him out of the blue, and move around constantly to avoid being discovered for what he is. If you gave him the option, he’d want to like… grow old with his friends, get married, have kids and all of that’s kind of impossible for him now? But… with that said, he’s incredibly bad at making himself a priority and he’d worry a lot and feel really guilty about all the things that might not have happened had he not become a vampire, like… since he’s dating someone who’s also immortal it’d be a really big concern of his that by never becoming immortal himself in the first instance, he’d kind of consign them to being incredibly alone and isolated, and the thought of that would honestly make him feel way too guilty…
So in the end, he’d probably just tell his fourteen year old self that putting spaghetti in his mum’s rice steamer will not in fact, make it cook faster, it’s a terrible idea and he’s about to make a complete fucking fool of himself.

oh my god, this was me in kindergarten!! i feel him on this!! but instead of cutting her ponytail off, i cut her fingers!! i didn’t slice them off obviously, but she was still bleeding a lot. and i didn’t feel bad about it until my teacher prohibited me to use the scissors for one week lmao it was hell.
