So….
This was my character, Raquet.
Then…. My dm pulled a “it was all a simulation” on the FIRST SESSION(thank god). So turns out we were a part of a simulation of the same world’s history.
We only knew that it was a simulation and remembered our actual lives after we got out of it. However, US THE PLAYERS had no idea he would do this!! :))
And so…
This is raquet’s new design. Same character, different personality, no equipment, no familiars… just raw first level boi :D
Dr. Chapman the Tiefling Rogue. Many were wary of the tiefling doctor when he first sailed into the city of Brightport; he spoke little of himself or his past, and with only his odd demeanour to assess him by, many chose to avoid him altogether. After an influx of accidents at the local mine, the people, with no other doctor to turn to, came to Chapman and were to surprised by his medical expertise. Though still unnerved, Brightport’s citizens have slowly come around to Chapman and hope that one day, they might come to know more about their mysterious physician.

A "Dungeons and Randomness" podcast setting book.
Hey all. Dungeons and Randomness is my favorite D&D actual play podcast, and they’re putting out a HUGE setting book via kickstarter. At this point, the book is going to be pushing 400 pages. They’re already funded, but there are some really cool stretch goals that will make it even bigger and badder. I’m very excited, and I encourage anyone who is a D&D fan to grab a copy of it. Jason and Brianna are really amazing storytellers who have filled this book with all kinds of custom monsters, characters, and places, and it’s going to be really damn nice. The kickstarter already has a 64 page preview available to download that covers just one of the regions of the world.
And if you’re interested in a ginormous actual play podcast that’s been running for 7 years (predating things like The Adventure Zone and Critical Role) and with nearly 300 episodes so far to listen to, I highly recommend Dungeons & Randomness. For those just starting with it, I recommend starting with Arc 2, since that’s where they switch from 4e to 5e, and it’s a good jumping-on point story-wise.
I made a practice comic page because I wanted to learn a little bit about Clip Studio Paint before I try something bigger. For comic’ing material I adapted a scene from the Dungeons & Randomness podcast, of which I am a fan.
I’m very happy with some aspects of this and just as unhappy with other aspects. Time to move on to the next thing, though, as I spent way too long fooling around with it.
