I’ve finished the Kirisaki Daiichi game as of now...for some reason, in the official manga it translates to “Kirisaki 1″ (like Kirisaki Daiichi I guess, but it still doesn’t make sense)
The manga art continues to improve and the bloopers are somehow getting better, they were already funny before but the fact that there’s a whole subplot going on through all the bloopers is so great
Also I don’t know what it is but I’m really picking up on Aomine’s character during this read. And don’t get me wrong, I have love LOVED Aomine for years now and his whole story but for some reason the manga is really highlighting those earlier moments in the story before his defeat and the Teiko arc that really support his character and it’s so good

so i know i’ve been running a scam here saying i would react to the knb manga but honestly im just breezing through and enjoying every panel... I can’t believe they are hiding so many of the bloopers in the manga because they are a national treasure (I know a few got animated but I think a lot of the ones that didn’t are the better ones and they’re just existing unknown to the anime only fans)
I’ve been trying real hard to take my time with the manga so I can properly enjoy it, because I know I binge all of it quickly but don’t want to- there’s a lot of tiny interactions missed in the anime and while they’re really minor I feel like all of them added together really help provide some more depth to the characters. Like it’s hilarious Kuroko’s first words to Kagami ever were
(he just says hello in the anime if I remember right)
Also I’ve gotten super excited after each member of the GOM is introduced... like I’ve seen them so many times I know who everyone is but man it’s still exciting to see everyone in manga form they look so good and as I continue to get further into the manga they only look better

I believe the last place I left off was with the game against Kirisaki, which feels like really long ago now. I’m now past the halfway point (and arguably the best part of the story before things start getting a little wacky-although I LOVE the Teiko arc)
First things first....Aomine............
I don’t what about my manga read that’s getting to me but I’ve suddenly gone super soft for Aomine?? I mentioned this before too but it’s not like I didn’t like him before, in fact, he was one of my favourite characters and I loved him very much. But the manga has just been an enabler for my love towards Aomine? It’s crazy. I really like how Fujimaki draws him as well!
