Just saw a post about “What if The Doctor doesn’t actually speak English and the Tardis just translates”

And while I know he does speak English that doesn’t mean he IS speaking English all the time. It would be so funny to have a bit in the show where he’s like arguing with The Rani or The Master and the Tardis glitches or something and suddenly they’re just yelling in Gallifreyan and all the companions are just like????

there is a perception filter on the old woman. people see her, but they don't really notice her. they don't see what's wrong about her.

until ruby points her out. ruby says "look at her. do you see that woman?" and they do. the perception filter falls away.

and the woman says "look at her. do you see that woman?" and they look at ruby, and the perception filter is gone. and they see her for what she truly is.

and it's beyond their brain's ability to comprehend.

always wondered how toons came to be so i have 2 theories:

1. they age up really .. REALLY quick to their cartoon’s age blah blah blah (i kinda flip flopped between whether they’d be incubated until maturity or if they just grow up really really fast)

and until they’re completely grown they’ll be hidden from the public while they’re learning and developing ?? And then they kinda cap at a certain age (so they’ll stop aging when they reach whatever age they were in the cartoon)

they get health complications too

exceptions would be eggson and toodles, who probably would age faster/slower to reach their age cap (??)

i like to think they feel they got their childhood robbed from them and feel resentment that they don’t get to live a “normal human life”

nd then the second and more likely (SMALL GORE WARNING):

they’re brought to life kinda like Frankenstein

though because they’re toons their organs function completely different to humans + made of ichor — which has caused some of them their fair share of internal or external deformities, which leads into their twisteds too

long story short: delilah likes to play god with her creations

btw i dont like the dialogue i just wanted her to say something to arthur

why is everyone assuming that Mrs Flood is just as evil as Sutekh? We know nothing about her.

Sutekh is the one who waits, the god of gods, he is actual Satan, the most powerful being in the universe, extinguisher of all life, the god of death, father of the toymaker, leader of the pantheon of discord.

And Mrs Flood refused to give Cherry a cup of tea.

Obviously Mrs Flood is much more evil.

DELILAH IS STILL IN THE FACILITY

[ UPDATED DANDYS WORLD THEORY!!! OLD ONE HERE!!!! SPOILERS FOR THE NEW LORE ]

So.... hey chat... how we feeling after the brusha update-? (Gets obliterated)

This theory may have mixed opinions, my discord server was debating this, and has been rather negatively received for completely valid reasons. The lore itself has very mixed opinions when it comes to humans in DW. However, I am actually very for humans in Dandy's world. So please keep that in mind going forward.

As of the last Easter Update, I believe Delilah is STILL IN GARDENVIEW

First, the office in the 2nd Easter Room.

This was the first instance of the "Find Me" messages around Gardenview, that ended up in another prominent location.

The first message was associated with a Syringe, something commonly associated with Scientists.

such as Delilah. Delilah is often associated with Laboatory stuff. such as lab coats being a prominent part in her design.

In her video with Dandy, she's shown to be writing down changes and updates on her toons' condition much like a biologist studying a specimen would do.

She's also shown doing the same thing here for Bassie.

Well, why bring this up again? She's still in the facility? So what?

Brusha's lore video implied... somethings...

So, who is this? Well, i'm here to provide a theory.

These footsteps, they're found near the second "find me" Whats the significance?

This.

Black feet? Well, usually those are linked with ichor, such as in twisteds. However, I propose something else.

Delilah also has ichorstained feet. not just that, the figure in the brusha lore video, if you look very closely, also has pants!

So whats the significance? So what if two characters have pants?

However, theres something deeper with this.

I feel like Delilah, the "find me guy", and the guy in the lore vid are TECHNICALLY THE SAME CHARACTER

HOWEVER

I AM NOT USING THIS AS MY ONLY REASON WHY DESPITE THE FACT IT'D BE REALLY COOL

First off,

So, brusha mentioned this

Which is confirmed by all the active security cameras around gardenview

so the character who approached brusha also mans the cameras, how does this work with delilah?

My theory is Delilah is the one leaving these tapes. Why? Each lore tape was something about the toons and their struggles.

Though its not shown traditionally, Delilah is shown to care about these toons a lot. She's their creator, how could she not care?

Not just that, the character showed themself to BRUSHA

Why is this significant?

Brusha painted this painting of delilah below the ground in a city. GARDENVIEW ENTERTAINMENT FACILITY IS UNDERGROUND IN A CITY!!!

THIS COULD BE HOW SHE FOUND OUT!!! Or her theory that she made was CONFIRMED THIS MOMENT!!!!

However I hear your argument...

"How could Delilah and this guy be the same if they speak differently?!"

Well, I actually have a bit of an explanation for that too.

Ichor, its a weird thing isnt it?

after all look what it did to my boy dandy. And he can turn back from toon to twisted. Alongside dyle. Not just that

All twisteds aim to attack and chase after toons without much of a clear mind, correct? However, they all share these red eyes (with a few exceptions)

Now this is going with the theory that twisteds aren't the real toons and more fucked up copies of them, however the idea still stands that they do some freaky weird shit.

Not just that, in ichor leaks, ichor puddles are always moving and writhing a bit on their own. as if its alive.

My theory is Ichor IS alive, and THATS who is really speaking!

But what about all this stuff about delilah? Well, we established ichor can do some freaky shit, take over a toon's mind and mutate them beyond recognition. Delilah worked with Ichor. Ichor on toons gives the sickness debuff.

Toons are made of ichor, they can take it, imagine a PERSON.

My theory is Delilah is possessed by the embodiment and/or possible consciousness within the ichor, and thats the real mastermind behind twisting, the operation, and the shutdown. Delilah is not in her own mind, she's being controlled, you could even argue she's twisted.

what does this mean for the lore? I have no clue, but GOD if this is real my fanon for TFITR AU and FLU just made the most INSANE PREDICTION YET.

the “show within a show” theory continues!

y’all remember how in space babies, the ship created the bogeyman because there’s supposed to be a monster?

rogue fits an archetype just a little too well. he’s smart and witty and full of bravado and clicks with the doctor instantly.

a lot of us had the theory that rogue was secretly jack harkness. and the thing is, he still basically is. he’s the archetype laid out by jack. doing some sketchy work, flirty and angsty, changes his heart and sacrifices himself at the end. and how many american accents do we hear on doctor who anyway?

so maybe space babies was designed mimic to the end of the world. and rogue was designed to mimic the empty child/the doctor dances (also! the doctor danced!)

maybe ruby is supposed to be the prototypical companion, be quite a bit like rose and clara. maybe rogue is supposed to be like jack.

maybe this new “season one” is supposed to be like 2005 season one.

it’s not little references meant to make you think of the past, this is an act. this is cosplay.
