28.07.2014 - The first time we saw you!
Dear Dotty,
Never have I ever had to drink so much juice (apparently a whole litre!) and hold it all inside for so long! Daddy was laughing because I was dancing around the room ready to burst before we had even left the house and when Nanan Keeton and Uncle Ali came to take us to the hospital I honestly thought I was going to POP!
Thankfully, the nurses weren't running too late and me and daddy waited nervously for you to appear on the screen. You seemed to be hiding and it took them a moment or two to find you, but when they did I've never seen your daddy look so happy and I was over the moon. Your little heart was beating away and it was such a relief to see you there, all tucked away, safe and sound. You had little ears, a little belly and a little bit of fluff for hair! It was confirmed that you were 8 weeks + 1 day 'old'.
Apparently the cramps I was feeling was just you getting comfy and making your little home a bit bigger as you were growing!
Hope you are all snug in there little one,
Love always

24.07.2014 - Early Pregnancy Unit trip!
Dear Dotty,
Didn't half have a scare today. I was sat at work when I got the most weirdest stomach cramps. I instantly panicked and being a first time mummy I wasn't sure this was right! So I phoned Nanna Keeton and arranged to go to the EPU to make sure you were okay! Daddy and Me sat for 4 hours eating a melted KitKat and drinking endless cups of water waiting to find out if you were hunky dory. After having my blood pressure done and ensured that the initial signs were all good, I was booked in for an early scan for the 28th July. We can't wait to see you, I asked what you would look like and apparently you'd be that tiny you'd look like a dot, thus the nickname Dotty :)
Looking forward to meeting you little one,
Love always
