“So. How long are you staying? Scandal and all aside, you need time to lay low and all. 2 weeks in Seoul? I can offer retail therapy in Gangnam, or the puffer fish restaurant buffet close to the intersection out towards Incheon.”

While Yufi does have most material things within an arm’s reach, it’s true that it’s not entirely satisfactory, that she’s still seeking out answers for herself. Most things she has are from connections granted from her father. The university she attended, the part-time she works, even this modeling gig. Yet despite the fact she is doing tasks she enjoys, there’s seems to be a superficiality behind it all. That she’s not doing it for herself. That it’s from a place seeking validation.

But she’s good at getting over most hurdles, defeating her own bouts of depression. It’s rare, however, that someone else witnesses these battles she has within her mind. It’s not embarrassing, it’s more unacceptable. She needs to handle her issues on her own time, not the company’s.

🔥 there are people who move blogs every month because they gotta 'start fresh' because of some baggage, but im not blind and i can read between the lines. if you get into trouble that often and gotta run away every 3 weeks, then the problem is you. you're the common denominator and then act like the victim of circumstances you created for yourself

ive seen this happen too many times and its like... just stay in your lane and dont be a jerk and maybe you wouldnt have to fly south for the winter every time you blink.

🔥 its ok to critique your friends. like... listen im not gonna kiss anyones ass ever. i dont care how much i love you. if i think that oc idea is wack and stupid, imma let you know. imma tell you to hit the drawing board, do some more research, and come back with a stronger concept. im not gonna be the type to be like ‘yeah have 958475843 muses on your multi’ because thats just not who i am. its ok to tell your friends to chill out and improve on what theyre doing.

what do you want? someone who’s gonna let you continue to be stagnant or someone who’s gonna push you to be your best self?

🔥 and on that note. please, if you wanna improve your art, please try to post it outside of tumblr. you’re not gonna get anywhere with an echo chamber of ‘yes this is the best thing ever and you dont need to improve on anything!’ it’s not possible. sure if you do your thing for funsies whatever, do it.

but if ur out here trying to make a living, then expand because this isnt the place for that

 Yingyue rolls her eyes at that statement. She leans onto the back of her seat, arms crossed and annoyed. For a while, she glares at him silently. At that moment, she wanted to react immediately with a long-winded speech and direct all her anger at Jiang, but unfortunately, they’re at a public space. The restaurant’s balcony have guests around them, and Yingyue knew photographers are stationed by their hidden locations. It’s not the time or place to a make scene. The last thing she wanted was a negative column on hearsay gossip on her and the young guy. Yingyue then leans forwards and takes a big sip from her champagne glass, hoping the drink will cool her head off.

“Didn’t I tell you you irritate me sometimes?” She snaps back, chin on her hand, while making contact with him.

     There’s a hint of a smirk as Jiang studies Yingyue. Then he leans forward, rests his crossed arms on the table only to remain quiet long enough that it comes across like he’s going to let his girlfriend have the last word.

  “That...” From the second he opens his mouth he’s treading on eggshells. “Is not what you were saying last night.” He likes playing this game of testing Yingyue’s patience— Here, where they’re a perfect picture of poise for the cameras he likes to poke and prod at that sleeping bear of a temper  of hers. Jiang doesn’t even try to hide a boyish grin at this dumb remark then takes a sip from his glass.

It's a little too early to have such a knock to his confidence. Especially when there's a less than friendly hangover lurking, simply waiting on his sleep addled brain to realize what's happening. The fingers that had been tracing over Yingyue's arm slow to a stop as Jae puts forth an effort to genuinely think about what he's going to say. It's a struggle, to say the least.

"We... had dinner. Had a pleasant evening. Had wine with dinner and-"

It's simplistic and, okay, it sounds completely moronic, but he's hardly able to think of much more at the moment. Yes, he's capable of being romantic and yes, he's capable of intricate and eloquent speech. It's an ability he cherishes, just an ability lost with the vintage merlot still running through his veins.

Her self-development during her year in Luxembourg and all the little things that filled her life with unimaginable happiness; another idea I have is definitely her instruments and what a dedicated passionate performer she used to be back in time

Aera is on the quite wealthy side so sometimes she’d allow herself to be lavish. She has a lot of expensive pieces of art and would sometimes shop at high end stores (not always the case tho, she totally enjoys small local retailers); and she also owns a big collection of bags
