It took me 2 months to perfect the designs, write, photograph and make a process video for this little project. I really love every step of the process, even though it's sometimes tedious and I loose the will to go on along the way.

I do hope, it was worth the effort, and there are some wonderful souls who will benefit from this.

I don't have any fun, new, digital art to show for myself. Most of my time has been sunk into life obligations and comic work, but I have been dipping my toes into sewing (and have been working on tufted stuff, but idk if I'm proud of it enough to show it off yet, ha!)

But, how we feeling about little hand sewn frogs, Tumblr community?

I used the pattern from this etsy listing, in case anyone else wants to try it out. It's meant to be for a machine, but I did it by hand because that's what relaxes me, and it worked just as well.

Mom and Dad! Do a little dance!!

I made these little silly puppets to give to Chili and Bandit’s voice actors since they were guesting at a local convention. I was able to hand them off and they were the sweetest people ever!

After making these puppets I’m dying to make more silly little guys!

Small animal hammock!

New tutorial is up! Today's project is a hand-sewn small animal hammock, for rats, mice, ferrets, Pokemon, whatever. It's another project with simple techniques and shapes, with a lot of wiggle room for mistakes, making it a great beginner project.

(You’ll notice my stitches are a little uneven, which is because I was watching Batman, but it doesn’t hugely show in the end.)
