defending sun x joy

i swear the Sams fandom is the most negative fandom on the planet. Like let me make it clear I don't like sun x joy but it's not patnotes level bad guys. First off joy has a character outside of sun like her situation with Mel and how she was so close to her and the drama involving that with her having to take care of dying and sick children having to watch them all die and the one and only person she was close to betrayed her and even almost killed her the second she stood up for herself and her trying to help lead the sanctuary after dark sun died and then trying to support it after sol took over. She has a character can we please not assume every female character that dates a male one will have all of there character be taken away the second they dare to end up dating a celestial family member. Like again you can dislike the ship all you want I don't like the ship. But I don't think it's as bad as people think. First off to debunk the most known criticism yes joy can date sun and her job won't be at risk. It's not unprofessional for her to date one of her students. Like guys she can have a romantic relationship outside of her job as a teacher. How is her dating sun unprofessional? Cause he is the father of one of her students. Like yeah in dazzle's perspective it's probably weird but again it's not bad or nothing is generally wrong for sun to date her and vice versa. Yeah if she constantly talks about it more then doing her job it will be bad but get real guys. Joy has said she loves teaching students and I don't think she is that dumb to realize talking more about her relationship then teaching her class is a problem. Hell all the irl teachers I have are married with there own kids and do you want to know how many times they brought that up? A. When the topic of there life / family was brought up or 2. Very rare and I mean very rare instances. Like joy at most will only talk about it when someone asks about it and probably won't go more then "yeah I'm dating sun" plus I think I also want to explain why sun choose joy Specifically. First off joy was someone he knew and was close with who also had a really bad relationship with her moon ( and yes let's all ignore she has way more chemistry with Mel then sun lol) she is someone sun could emphasize with with his own issues with his moon. Plus she is someone that could be a good possibly mom for dazzle with is something sun would absolutely take into consideration when it comes to finding a romantic partner. He loves dazzle and he wants someone he loves that he can trust dazzle to be safe with and joy has not only shown that but already said she likes dazzle. Said herself she's like a social little butterfly, always listening and attentive. She seems to like dazzle and someone sun can trust to be safe and take care of dazzle. Plus the main thing joy hasn't and most likely won't betray sun think of moon, nexus and even rosie people sun cared about and loved betraying him. His heart has been broken time and time again and joy is probably someone and has show she won't betray sun. She never even hints st it even when she is upset at him. So in sun's eyes joy is someone he knows and is close, trust enough to be a good possible mom for dazzle, and someone that will probably not back stab sun like Rosie did. Like guys you all wanted and practically begged the VA to finally give sun a girlfriend and when you finally do you hate on it like are you guys ever happy. I don't like the ship I think it came out of nowere and is completely random but out everyone that sun could have ended up with I am so glad it's not someone that says they fumbled him after they didn't like them back cause they betrayed them.
