Alpha!Nanami baffled that Omega!Gojo isn't sure how to touch himself. The question was, he thought, innocent enough: "how do you pleasure yourself?” Because he wanted to know what Gojo liked and what he didn't, what got him going and what could potentially dampen his mood. So when Gojo shrugged and said he didn't know--
7: what do you mean? What do you do when you're aroused?
5: go to you
7: but what do you do when you're on your own?
5: nothing...?
7: you just wait it out?
5: well, no. I mean -- I don't get aroused if you're not around, so
Nanami's eyes opened wide.
7: ever? Not even before we met?
Gojo shakes his head.
5: other than my first and only heat, no
Nanami's brain shorts for a few seconds.
It just hit me that I really like writing Gojo sitting on Nanami's lap. Especially in Two Souls (omegaverse AU), where Gojo allows himself to be soft and vulnerable around Nanami and Nanami relishes in the opportunity to comfort and protect Gojo
Gojo shows this to Nanami:
Nanami: I... Don't wear lipstick?
Gojo: You should, tho. Then I wouldn't need a novelty mug
Nanami: You're the one with the tinted lipgloss. Just get actual lipstick and mark your own mug
Gojo: I'd be marking your shirts and you know it
Nanami: You already do, might as well commit to it
Gojo: !! You've given me permission! No takesy-backsies!
Nanami: When have I ever?
Gojo begging Nanami to take him on a road trip for their anniversary because he saw him drive one (1) time and it was the hottest thing ever so he now wants to experience it for and by himself for hours.
Nanami isn't too keen on it (driving is tiresome and also he prefers public transportation when possible because he's environmentally conscientious like that) but Gojo promises to buy enough carbon credits to offset the trip 10x over and lets him choose any car he likes from the Gojos collection and he can also choose the destination so he eventually caves.
The trip is fun and lovely and Gojo even manages to 1) get naughty while Nanami is driving and 2) get Nanami to teach him how to drive (he's obnoxiously good at it, of course, but is too keen on trying stunts so Nanami gets him back in the passenger seat real quick)
Thoughts on nanagoge
Geto referring to Nanami as Gojo's husband and thinking of Nanami as his boyfriend. Gojo is also Geto's boyfriend.
Nanami calling Geto Gojo's boyfriend and not really settling on a label for his relationship to Geto (although "lover" comes sort of close). Gojo is his husband on good days and his burden on bad days (never seriously, tho).
Gojo thinking of Nanami (and often referring to him directly) as "daddy" but introducing him as his husband (which he picked up from Geto). Geto varies - boyfriend, lover, bestie. It's not that he's not serious about him, it's just that Geto is as flighty and versatile as Gojo himself so their relationship is far more relaxed in this particular point.
Nanami is the voice of reason in the group. Keeps the other two in line regarding food and rest, takes care of them if they're sick. I'm thinking this might be abo, so he also keeps a close eye on their cycles, especially Geto's since he's an omega but he's as much of a workaholic as Gojo so he can neglect himself a lot. Very much the more parental of the three, at least when it comes to them, but he's quick to take all the kids they adopt under his wing, too.
Geto is often the mediator between Gojo and Nanami who, being both alphas, can clash quite easily. He's happy to let Nanami take over the more protective role an omega should traditionally wield, but as soon as Nanami stops taking care of himself, or if Nanami is away and Gojo is getting out of control, he'll gladly step in and take over. When it comes to the kids, tho, he's always on and alert.
Gojo prides himself in being the provider for the entire pack (which includes his partners as well as the Hasaba twins and the Fushiguro children, plus all of his students because he has no self control [Nanami's words], plus Haibara, Shoko, and Ijichi). It's not just money, which he has an obscene amount of, but protection from the higher-ups and the clans (including his own) and anything/everyone else that could be a threat. It also includes protection from themselves - he knows both his partners deal with depression and can, at times, fall deeply into it, rendering them far more vulnerable or self-destructive than usual. So he keeps an eye out for it, making sure to step in and intervene when necessary.
I just came across a video about Japanese "crocheted" cakes that said something like "they're too pretty to eat" and my brain did its thing:
Gojo: Nothing is too pretty to eat!
Nanami: I can attest to that.
Gojo: *passes out from a sudden rush of blood to the head*
Gojo is wearing one of his oversized sweaters, the sleeve of which has slipped down, leaving his left shoulder and part of his collarbone exposed. Geto frowns (they're all in public) and is about to say something when Nanami reaches forward and fixes Gojo's clothes.
Nanami: Why do you have to be so enticing? Geto: Kento-kun! Nanami: What? Geto: Are you sure that's the word you'd use to describe this? Nanami: Um, yes? What else? Geto: How about indecent? Nanami: (thinks about it for all of three seconds) Hm. No, I meant what I said.
