Gibson, city physician, shortly will file a report on the heart condition of 70-year-old Margaret Sadler, convicted Tuesday of illegal sale of liquor. If her heart condition permits, Magistrate H. A. Burbidge today said, the woman will serve her sentence in Mercer reformatory.
Appearing today for sentence, Mrs. Sadler was remanded until next Tuesday.
‘In view of four convictions under the L.C.A. since 1931,’ the magistrate said, ‘there is no alternative but to send her to reformatory.’
