4 - how did your elementary school teachers describe you?
A “delight”. Quiet and responsible, mature for her age. Excellent grades, but she could do even better. Ya know, the basic things about a clever and quiet kid who’s doing well but “man if we just push them that bit further (translate : put a shitton of pressure on them) they could be geniuses” ! Noooo thanks. (Me ? Still bitter about some parts of my scolarity ? nooooo, dunno what you’re talking about. Depression and total loss of motivation are cool bro)
Like the movie says : both. Both are good. I tend to watch more tv shows than movies, but that’s only due to the fact that I know where to find shows better than where to find movies (ever noticed how easier it is to stream and/or torrent download a tv show than a movie ?). Also watching a movie is different than watching a tv show. A show can be a routine activity, something that you can put in the background (depending on the show, true), while a movie, it’s more like “I’m going to dedicate two hours of my life to this one activity and not do anything else” (again, depends on the movie - Star Wars or LoTR are basically background music at this point). So it’s not the same mindset whether I watch one or the other.
15 - favorite book you read as a school assignment?
Oooh, got a memory back. When I was in (wait, gotta Google that) CE2 which is third grade (US system), the book the class was supposed to read was Roald Dahl’s The BFG. But the teacher thought that me and another guy had a too advanced reading level to be content with just The BFG, so she gave us The Witches - longer, darker, a bit more advanced. The homework for the whole class was to read the first chapter for the next week. Guess what ? I am constitutionally incapable of stopping at the first chapter. Read the whole book in an hour. Loved it. Still haven’t read The BFG though.
16 - most comfortable position to sit in?
Cross-legged ! Or knees up against the chest. Sadly I haven’t yet found a chair that allows me the position.
What is strange and what is a habit. Ha. Uh. I don’t like bright lights. I can stay in a darkening room without noticing that there’s less and less light, and even when it’s too dark I won’t turn on the overhead lightbulb. I prefer tamised, orange lights, soft and warm and unobtrusive.
42 - jacket pockets or pants pockets?
Jacket pockets. Deep, secure pockets, where I can keep my hands warm while clutching my phone/ipod/tissues/keys. Which is terrible because leather jackets or winter coats have pockets, but warmer season jackets ? Its a freaking quest finding a spring or summer jacket with actual pockets.
