Do you ever have reoccurring WEIRD dreams? Like, beyond WEIRD!

I have. For me, most days, it usually involves Cassandra, but when I was younger, I used to have nightmares about turning into a monster.

Like, I'd get out of my room, and Mum, Dad, and Lilli would look at me weird, then when I looked at myself, I looked HIDEOUS.

One thing I remember about it is that I looked like Bigfoot with a donkey head and a monkey tail.

I tried to tell them that it was me, it was [XXXXX], but they wouldn't believe me. Even Telemachus would bark at me, and he never barks at strangers.

One night when I was seven, Mum woke me up because I sounded terrified, and I told her about that dream. For some reason, I still remember what she said after I explained it.

"Whatever happens, we won't turn our backs on you, [XXXXX]. You're still my child, no matter what."

Even then, I didn't stop having those dreams until I was nine, just after I figured myself out after recently being discharged from the ER.

And all that because an episode of a show I really like scared me really badly.

hpma sleep headcanon time!

When going to bed, Elliott prefers to wear as minimal clothing as possible. He doesn’t really care for pyjamas because he gets too hot that way. He’s usually just in his underwear, and NEVER wears his binder to bed. He either just wears a normal tank or nothing at all. This is why his family doesn’t enter his room when he wakes up, at around 6-7ish. At sleepovers, he just wears a tank and shorts, like this;

Elliott also moves around a lot before sleeping. He’ll occasionally hug the closest thing to him, or knock his glasses off his nightstand, which can be inconvenient. He also has very weird dreams, especially about Cassandra. When he was around the ages of five to nine, he used to have horrible nightmares of his family pushing him away because he turned into a monster.

Moving on from that, Daniel is a night owl. Like, he’ll stay up until 2AM before passing out just to work on this potion or his homework or whatever. It’s gotten so bad that on school breaks, Esme literally has to spike his drinks with melatonin just for him to get some sleep. When he does, Daniel doesn’t have dreams that he can remember. However, the things he CAN remember are dreams about his family, specifically Mum. (Edit: I can see Daniel having dreams of being a baby again) He occasionally shares a bed with Esme, but that usually was mostly because one of them was sick. Then, Y3 happened, and Daniel started doing so more often just to be there for her, even if she wasn’t sick. He occasionally has some bouts of sleep paralysis that don’t last very long, but still terrifying. If you find an old post by @chemzee, then you’ll see her(?) interpretation of Daniel’s sleepwear (+ Ivy’s)

Ivy usually goes to bed early, but sometimes randomly wakes up at 3AM because the pie demon demands her to do so. She often has normal dreams, but sometimes she has some about her reflection coming to life and taking a mind of it’s own, or any other Winnie-related dreams

Winnie goes to bed later than Ivy and wakes up at 5ish. However, during the winter months, she becomes a heavier sleeper, often sleeping until 12PM if circumstances allow her to do so. She prefers one of those full-body pjs so she won’t get cold quicker. She prefers to sleep in the top bunk and moths seem to really like a certain corner of her room at their mother’s house.

Lottie usually dreams of being with her parents. She is also a night owl, but it’s not as bad as Daniel’s situation. She tends to draw more surreal things at night, which leads to some people thinking she’s on Skittles. She don’t care what clothes she wears before she goes to bed. And yes, she occasionally sleeps in jeans.

Robyn is early to rise, and early to bed. Or, more specifically, sleeps at seven, wakes at seven. She's usually the first to fall asleep at sleepovers, which leaves her vulnerable to Troy and Cole pretending to cut out her tonsils. She's also a sleeptalker, and some people record it because they think it's funny.

Kevin has the same sleep schedule as Robyn, except he usually goes to bed around 10ish. It's mostly due to homework assignments and a lot of overthinking. He also moves around a lot when sleeping. And yes, even during the dream stage.

Abi occasionally takes naps during the day if circumstances allow her. But at night, she often sleeps with her scarf on as well as some pjs I've drawn her in before. During that time of the month, she sleeps in what looks like the most uncomfortable positions known to man and often wakes up with symptoms that are basically an alcohol-free hangover. She swallowed a hare once.

Cass is surprisingly a heavy sleeper. Not even the loudest noises could wake her up but. Somehow, she usually gets up around 5-6, but when she doesn't, she's usually affected by the malady.

As per request of @night-in-star-light, I reported my... situation to the prefect. She said that she'll tell Mrs. McGonagall(?) about it, and make sure Renee doesn't do anything bad to me again.

Thank GOD. I thought dating one of Esme's lookalikes would be GREAT, but now it was... how do I describe it?
